「日本で流されているニュースを見ましたが、
ラー・カイラムは連合軍の新造艦ではないかと
推測されていますね」
Misato: Judging from the news going around Japan, people are assuming the Ra Cailum is a new Alliance battleship.

ブライト
「まあ、モビルスーツ搭載艦だからな」
Bright: Well, I suppose it is a Mobile Suit carrier.

隼人
「それで、連合軍はこの艦について
何かコメントを出しているのか?」
Hayato: And have the Alliance made any kind of statement in regards to this ship?

ミサト
「いえ、今の所は。
世間の話題の中心となっているのは、
[インベーダー]ですし…」
Misato: No, not as of yet. What really has the public’s attention are the [Invaders]...

ミサト
「私達については、さほど言及されていません」
Misato: Compared to them, they aren’t particularly interested in us.

テッサ
「連合軍は何も言わないでしょうね。
それとなく根回しはしてありますから」
Tessa: We’re making arrangements behind closed doors to ensure the Alliance won’t make any mention of you.

テッサ
「なので、この艦はこうやって
日本近海に滞在できるんです」
Tessa: That way your ships can stay within the vicinity of Japan’s coast.

ミサト
「随分と影響力があるんですね」
Misato: Your people have an impressive amount of leverage.

テッサ
「しかし、ここ最近の連合軍には
[ブルーコスモス]という団体の思想が広がりつつあり、
情報操作は難しくなってきています」
Tessa: Unfortunately, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to control information as of late with [Blue Cosmos]’s ideologies becoming more prevalent.

隼人
「ブルーコスモス…」
Hayato: Blue Cosmos...?

テッサ
「簡単に言えば、反[プラント]、反[コーディネイター]を
謳う団体です。地球の政財界や様々な組織に
多くの支持者が存在しています」
Tessa: Put simply, it is an organization which openly denounces both the [PLANTs] and [Coordinators] themselves. There are a great many other organizations and politicians on Earth that support them.

テッサ
「そして、デモ行進などの市民活動のみならず、
裏では反コーディネイターのテロまで支援していて…
[ミスリル]は彼らの台頭を危険視しています」
Tessa: They not only condone public protests, but they even go so far as to secretly support anti-Coordinator acts of terrorism... [Mithril] sees their rise in influence as something to be wary of.

弁慶
「[ザフト]と戦争をやってりゃ、
そういう連中が幅を利かせ易くなるか…」
Benkei: With a war going on with [ZAFT], I can see how it’d be easy for them to get away with all that...

テッサ
「連合とザフトの戦争が始まって、既に一年以上…
人心が疲弊している今、悪意は驚くほど
早く伝播します」
Tessa: It’s already been over a year since the war between the Alliance and ZAFT began... In times when the human mind is fatigued, malice can propagate surprisingly quickly.

テッサ
「小さなテロリスト組織であったはずのA21が、
ラムダ・ドライバ搭載のベヘモスを手に入れる…
あのようなことが頻発するおそれがあります」
Tessa: Even A21, what was supposed to be a small terrorist organization, were able to acquire the Behemoth and equip it with a [Lambda Driver]... I can’t help but fear that things of that nature will become more frequent occurrences.

ミサト
「しかし、あの事件は反コーディネイターの
テロではないですよね? ブルーコスモスが
絡んでいる可能性があるのでしょうか?」
Misato: But that incident wasn’t an anti-Coordinator act of terrorism, right? Would Blue Cosmos really be involved with it?

テッサ
「ゼロとは言い切れません」
Tessa: We can’t say the possibility isn’t there.

ミサト
(…テロリストのネットワークのような物が
存在していたら、厄介ね)
Misato: (...I don’t even want to imagine the trouble a terrorist network that big would bring.)

トーレス
「艦長、トゥアハー・デ・ダナンを確認しました。
10分後に本艦と接触します」
Torres: Captain, we’ve identified the Tuatha de Danaan. We’ll make contact in 10 minutes.

ブライト
「了解した」
Bright: Understood.

テッサ
「では、デ・ダナンへ戻る前に
今後についてのお話をしたいと思います」
Tessa: Then before I return to the Danaan, I’d like to discuss what comes next.

ブライト
「我々の身の振り方についてか?」
Bright: You mean our future here?

テッサ
「ええ。まず、皆さんのこの世界での拠点として、
私達ミスリル西太平洋戦隊のメリダ島基地を
使用していただいて結構です」
Tessa: Yes. First of all, you are permitted to use the Mithril West Pacific Ocean Squadron’s base, [Merida Island], as your base of operations in this world.

ブライト
「メリダ島…」
Bright: Merida Island...?

テッサ
「位置は北緯20度50分、東経140度31分。
各勢力の目から逃れるため、デ・ダナンの
ドックなど主立った施設は島の地下にあります」
Tessa: Its location is latitude 20°50'N and longitude 140°31'E. Its main facilities, such as the Danaan’s dock, are underneath the island to escape the public eye.

テッサ
「あそこならば、ラー・カイラムやオケアノスの
本格的な修理や整備が行えます。補給物資も
提供します」
Tessa: There, you will be able to perform full-scale repairs and resupplies for the Ra Cailum and the Oceanus. We will also provide you with necessary supplies.

弁慶
「かなりの好待遇ですな」
Benkei: That’s very generous of you.

テッサ
「…私達の世界において、
あなた達はイレギュラーな存在です」
Tessa: ...You are irregularities in our world.

テッサ
「それを放置すれば、この世界の
ミリタリー・バランスを崩しかねないと
上層部が判断しました」
Tessa: My superiors have come to the conclusion that if you remain unchecked, you could destroy the military balance of this world.

ミサト
(ミスリル西太平洋戦隊は、
私達の監視役でもあるというわけね…)
Misato: (So they’re having the Mithril Western Pacific Ocean Squadron play watch dog...)

ブライト
「とは言え、無償の待遇ではなかろう。
見返りは?」
Bright: I’m sure this service won’t come free. What do you want in return?

テッサ
「…話が早くて助かります。
あなた達には、平和維持活動を行うミスリルの
お手伝いをしていただきたいと思っています」
Tessa: ...Cutting to the chase makes this easy. We would like for your assistance with Mithril’s goal of maintaining peace.

テッサ
「とは言え、
この世界に滞在されている間の話ですが」
Tessa: Naturally, this would only extend for the duration of your stay in this world.

ブライト
「具体的には?」
Bright: Can you be more specific?

テッサ
「まずは、インベーダーの排除です」
Tessa: The first order of business would be to eliminate the Invaders.

弁慶
「!」
Benkei: !

テッサ
「彼らの存在は世間の目に晒されました。
今の所は、情報操作でテロリストの
生物型機動兵器ということにしていますが…」
Tessa: Their existence has already been made clear to the public. For now, we’re twisting information to make them appear as terrorist bio-weapons...

テッサ
「今後、私達の世界で増殖する可能性があるのなら、
看過できません」
Tessa: But we can’t ignore them if they have the potential to multiply in our world.

テッサ
「よって、ミスリルでも
ドクター・サオトメの行方を追うつもりです」
Tessa: For that reason, Mithril has every intention of hunting down Doctor Saotome.

隼人
「また向こうの方から俺達の所へ
やって来るかも知れませんがね」
Hayato: They may just come from our world again, however.

テッサ
「そのことを踏まえた上で
今回の措置が決定されています」
Tessa: This decision was made with that assumption in mind.

隼人
(そうだろうな)
Hayato: (So that’s how it is.)

テッサ
「あと、お願いしたいことは、もう一つあります」
Tessa: In addition, there is one more request I’d like to make of you.

テッサ
「オーブにいるアークエンジェルを
アラスカ防空圏内まで護衛する任務に
参加していただきたいのです」
Tessa: We’d like for you to help us in escorting the Archangel from Orb to within range of the Alaska base.

ブライト
「あの艦はまだオーブに留まっているのか…」
Bright: The Archangel is still docked at Orb...?

テッサ
「ええ、修理に時間が掛かっただけでなく、
色々な事情があったとのことで」
Tessa: Yes, due not only to the time necessary for repairs, but the multitude of circumstances that demanded it.

ブライト
「事情?」
Bright: Circumstances?

テッサ
「キラ・ヤマトさんに
モビルスーツ開発の手伝いをさせているそうです」
Tessa: For one, Kira Yamato is assisting Orb with the development of Mobile Suits.

ブライト
「それが終わるまで
アークエンジェルはオーブを出られないのか」
Bright: So until that’s finished, the Archangel can’t leave Orb.

テッサ
「ええ。その間にザフトは追撃の準備を
整えているでしょうから…あの艦はオーブを
出た後、激しい攻撃を受けることになります」
Tessa: Correct. And during that time, ZAFT have been making preparations to pursue them... Once their ship leaves Orb, they will become under relentless assault.

ブライト
「それを我々で防げ、と。依然としてミスリルは
あの艦がこの世界のミリタリー・バランスを
乱す要因だと考えているのだな」
Bright: And we are to protect them. I hazard that Mithril still thinks that ship will have a major effect on this world’s military balance.

テッサ
「大袈裟だと思いますか?」
Tessa: Do you feel this is going too far for them?

ブライト
「いや、ある程度は実感できる」
Bright: Quite the opposite. I can relate to them personally, to a degree.

テッサ
(実感…)
Tessa: (Personally...?)

ミサト
([一年戦争]でのホワイトベースとガンダムの活躍が
連邦軍に勝利をもたらしたわけじゃないけど…
要因の一つだったのは事実だものね)
Misato: (The White Base and the Gundam may not have won the [One Year War] for the Federation on their exploits alone... But it’s undeniable that they were a key factor in it.)

ブライト
「前にも言ったが、我々の当面の目的は
ゲートの謎を解明することと、早乙女博士の追跡だ」
Bright: As I’ve mentioned before, our most pressing goal is to solve the mystery of the Gates and hunt down Dr. Saotome.

ブライト
「そのためにはミスリルの援助が必要…
この世界の戦争には極力加担したくないが、
そちらの要望を受け入れる」
Bright: Mithril’s aid will be necessary to achieve either... So while we want to avoid participating in this world’s war as much as possible, we will agree to your request.

テッサ
「ありがとうございます。
では、私はデ・ダナンへ戻ります」
Tessa: Thank you very much. Then, I’ll return to the Danaan.

ブライト
「我々の次の行き先は?」
Bright: Where should we proceed next?

テッサ
「オーブです。一刻も早くアークエンジェルを
アラスカ防空圏内へ送り届ける必要がありますので」
Tessa: To Orb. We must escort the Archangel to Alaska as quickly as possible.

ブライト
「了解した」
Bright: Understood.

かなめ
「あ、美味しいわね、このラーメン。
軍艦の食事とは思えないわ」
Kaname: Oh my God, this ramen is delicious! I can’t believe we’re eating on a battleship!

豹馬
「だろ?
こないだリニューアルしたばかりなんだ」
Hyoma: I know, right? They just changed up the recipe the other day.

ミコット
「それについての話、知ってる?」
Micott: Why’d they suddenly change it?

豹馬
「いや」
Hyoma: Dunno.

クルツ
「俺は聞いたぜ。謎のメモだろ?」
Kurz: Oh, I heard about that. There was a mysterious note, right?

豹馬
「何だよ、そりゃ?」
Hyoma: What do you mean?

サキミ
「キッチンに誰が置いたかわからない
メモがあって…そこにラーメンの味の
改良案が書かれていたそうです」
Sakimi: There was a note that an unknown individual left in the kitchen... Apparently it had suggestions for improving the ramen’s flavor.

サキミ
「それで、コックさんが試しに作ってみたら、
とても美味しかったと…」
Sakimi: After that, the cook gave it a try and fell in love with it.

豹馬
「へ~え、誰がやったんだろ?」
Hyoma: Huh, then I wonder who did it.

バナージ
「しかも、手間が掛かる方法で…」
Banagher: What I’m wondering is why they did it in such a roundabout way...

タクヤ
「そうだよな、コックさんに直接言えばいいのに」
Takuya: Yeah, they should have just spoke to the cook directly.

サキミ
「何か事情があるんでしょうね…」
Sakimi: There must be some reason for it...

かなめ
「でも、結果的に美味しいラーメンが
食べられるのはありがたいわ」
Kaname: Well either way, it’s still nice to have some tasty ramen as a result.

かなめ
「メリダ島へ行ったら、
こういうのがあるかどうかわかんないし」
Kaname: I doubt I’ll find anything like this on Merida Island.

宗介
「そのことなんだが…
俺達はオーブへ行った後、アークエンジェルと共に
アラスカ防空圏内まで向かうことになった」
Sousuke: Actually... After we arrive in Orb, our next objective will be to escort the Archangel to Alaska.

かなめ
「えっ? じゃあ、あたしはどうなるの?」
Kaname: Huh? Then, what happens to me?

宗介
「次の任務が終わるまで一緒だ」
Sousuke: You’ll be accompanying us until the conclusion of the next mission.

かなめ
「はあ…。
しばらくメリダ島であたしを保護するって
言われた時に嫌な予感がしたのよね…」
Kaname: Oh... When I you said we were going to Merida Island to stay safe for a while, I kind of assumed the worst...

ミコット
「同情するわ」
Micott: I don’t envy you.

かなめ
「ううん、あなた達の前で
こういう愚痴を言っちゃ駄目だよね」
Kaname: Nah, I shouldn’t be complaining about this kind of stuff in front of other people.

タクヤ
「まあ、こっちはもう慣れちゃったよ」
Takuya: No worries, I’m used to hearing stuff like that.

かなめ
(何にせよ、アークエンジェルのみんなと
また会えるのは嬉しいけどね…)
Kaname: (Regardless of why, it’ll be nice to see everyone from the Archangel again...)

クルツ
「カナメちゃんとしては、
ソースケと一緒なのは良かったんじゃないの?」
Kurz: But Kaname, aren’t you enjoying your time together with Sousuke?

かなめ
「な、何言ってんの!?」
Kaname: Wh-What are you talking about!?

クルツ
「わかる、わかるよー、カナメちゃん。
自分だけが日本に残って、ソースケとテッサが
お近づきになんてことになったら…」
Kurz: I get it, Kaname, I really do. If you were the only one left behind in Japan, then Sousuke and Tessa could start getting to know each other and—

(Kaname hits Kurz with a paper fan.)

クルツ
「ぶはっ!」
Kurz: Bwagh!

かなめ
「これ以上、余計なことを言ったら
ただじゃ済まさないわよ!」
Kaname: You really run your mouth too much!

豹馬
「いや、もうハリセン食らわせたじゃねえか」
Hyoma: Wait, did she just smack him with a paper fan?

宗介
「意味がわからん。
俺が大佐と接近すると何か問題が起きるのか?」
Sousuke: I don’t understand. What’s the problem with me being closer to the Captain?

かなめ
「いいから、あんたも黙ってなさい!」
Kaname: Oh for the love of— You shut up too!

(Daisuke and Inko approach.)

大介
「賑やかだね。相席、いいかな?」
Daisuke: This table seems pretty lively. Mind if we join you?

かなめ
「え? は、はい」
Kaname: Huh? Uh, s-sure, no problem.

韻子
「実は、あなた達に聞きたいことがあって…」
Inko: Actually, there’s something I wanted to ask you guys...

かなめ
「何かしら?」
Kaname: What’s that?

韻子
「これから向かうオーブのことを教えて欲しいの。
資料は見たけど、この世界の人達の意見を
聞いてみたいと思って…」
Inko: I wanted to hear about this Orb place we’re going. I saw the data on it, but I thought I’d hear what the people of this world thought about it...

クルツ
「そういうことなら任せてくれ。
いいデートスポットを知ってるぜ。
どう? 一緒に回ってみたり…」
Kurz: I got you covered. I know some real great dating spots. So, how about you and me—

かなめ
「はいはい、そこまで。あたしが教えるから。
資料に書いてあったと思うけど、
正式名称はオーブ連合首長国で…」
Kaname: Yeah, shut up. I’ll tell her. You probably saw this before, but its official name is the Orb Union...

かなめ
「いくつかの島で構成されてる中立国なの。
過去に多数の日本人が移住したおかげもあって、
優れた技術を持っていて…」
Kaname: It’s a neutral nation comprised of multiple islands. A lot of Japanese moved there in the past, and their technology is pretty advanced because...

かなめ
「地球の国じゃ珍しく
コーディネイターも受け入れてるわね」
Kaname: Well, there’s not a lot of nations on Earth willing to accept Coordinators.

大介
「懷の広のい国なんだな」
Daisuke: So it’s a country with a big heart.

宗介
「良く言えば、だ。
そのことを快く思っていない連中は多い」
Sousuke: That’s a nice way to put it. But there are a number of groups that aren’t comfortable with that.

かなめ
「で、現在の代表首長はウズミ・ナラ・アスハ。
オーブの獅子とも呼ばれる人物で、
不可侵と中立の宣言を行ったの」
Kaname: The current leader is Chief Representative Uzumi Nara Athha. He’s known as the Lion of Orb and he was the one that declared their nonaggression and neutrality.

かなめ
「あと、オーブにはストライクやイージスなどの
GAT-Xシリーズやアークエンジェルを
開発、製造したモルゲンレーテ社があるわね」
Kaname: Orb also has Morgenroete Incorporated, where the Strike, Aegis, the other GAT-X Series MS, and the Archangel were developed and manufactured.

サキミ
「随分と詳しいんですね」
Sakimi: You know an awful lot about this.

ミコット
「あなた、そっち方面の話に興味があったの?」
Micott: Were you always interested in this kind of stuff?

かなめ
「そういうわけじゃないんだけど、
最近、妙に物覚えが良くなっちゃって…」
Kaname: It’s nothing like that. But lately, I’ve been remembering things freakishly well...

宗介
「情報を補足する。オーブは資源衛星コロニー
ヘリオポリスを所有していて…
元々、キラ達はそこの学生だった」
Sousuke: Supplementary information. Orb also owned the resource satellite colony, Heliopolis. Kira and his friends were originally students there.

タクヤ
「そうそう、俺達と同じような身の上なんだよな。
特にキラは、バナージやカミーユさんと同じく、
コロニーにあったガンダムに乗ったし」
Takuya: Yeah, they’re in the same boat as us. Kira even piloted a Gundam that was in the colony just like Banagher and Kamille.

バナージ
「だけど、ヘリオポリスはもう…」
Banagher: But, Heliopolis is already...

宗介
「ああ、ザフト軍の攻撃を受けて崩壊した」
Sousuke: Yes, it collapsed as a result of the ZAFT forces’ attack.

大介
「なら、オーブはザフトに対して
かなりの恨みを持っているんじゃないか?」
Daisuke: Then would that mean Orb has some measure of animosity towards ZAFT?

宗介
「とは言え、中立国だ。
ザフトと敵対しているわけではない」
Sousuke: Even so, it remains a neutral nation. Orb is not hostile towards ZAFT.

韻子
「それでアークエンジェルを受け入れて
大丈夫なの?」
Inko: And that’s why it was okay for them to take in the Archangel?

サキミ
「聞いた話だと、ストライクや
アークエンジェルの運用データを
手に入れるため、入国を許可したそうです」
Sakimi: As I’ve heard it, they were allow entry so that Orb could gather data from the Strike and the Archangel.

大介
「中立国とは言え、強かだな。
いや、そうでなければ中立の立場を貫けないか」
Daisuke: They’re formidable, even as a neutral country. In fact, they’d have to be in order to remain neutral.

バナージ
「でも、火種は燻っていますよね。
下手をすると、オーブも戦争に
巻き込まれかねない…」
Banagher: But the sparks are there. It’d be very easy for Orb to also get swept up in the war...

クルツ
「だから、俺達でアークエンジェルを
エスコートする必要があるのさ」
Kurz: That’s why we need to escort the Archangel ourselves.

クルツ
「ま、俺としちゃ、オーブのデートスポットで
インコちゃんをエスコートしたいけどね」
Kurz: Well, as far as I’m concerned, I’d just like to escort cute little Inko to Orb’s best date spots.

韻子
「あははは…遠慮しておきます」
Inko: Ahahaha... That’s not happening.

クルツ
「じゃあ、サキミちゃんはどう?」
Kurz: Then how about you, Sakimi?

サキミ
「私、[MART]へ入る前は指宿重工という
軍事企業の人事課に勤務していまして…
モルゲンレーテ社に興味があります」
Sakimi: Back before I joined [MART], I worked in the personnel department of a military corporation called Ibusuki Heavy Industries... So I do have an interest in Morgenroete Inc.

サキミ
「そこなら、後学のために見学したいですね」
Sakimi: I wouldn’t mind to have a tour there for future reference.

クルツ
「いいねえ。じゃ、他の勉強もしてみない?」
Kurz: Sounds good. Then why don’t we study some other things while we’re at it?

かなめ
(ったく、懲りないんだから)
Kaname: (Holy crap, he just doesn’t learn.)

Ryoma: That’s it for today’s simulator training. You can get up now.

「…わかった」
Go: ...Understood.

龍馬
「明日はもっとしごくからな。覚悟しとけ」
Ryoma: It’ll be even harder tomorrow. Be ready for it.

凱
「う、うへぇ…了解しました…」
Gai: Haaah haaah... Yes, sir...

Go: ...

「…二人共、筋はいいですね」
Guy: ...Those two have talent.

龍馬
「まだまだだ。
ゲッターは並のロボット兵器じゃねえからな」
Ryoma: They need more than that. Getter isn’t your average robot.

万丈
「確かに…真ゲッターのGに耐えるのは
生半可なことじゃないだろうね」
Banjo: That’s for certain... No one would be able to withstand Shin Getter’s G-force without giving it their all.

凱
「それを言うなら、彼の機体も…」
Guy: I believe you could say that about his machine as well...

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

万丈
「ちょうど良かった。
アキト、君に聞きたいことがあるんだ」
Banjo: Perfect timing. There’s something I wanted to ask you, Akito.

アキト
「何だ?」
Akito: What?

万丈
「最近、ここの食堂のラーメンの味が
良くなったんだが…それは君の仕業じゃないか?」
Banjo: The ramen in the cafeteria has been very tasty as of late... Is that your handiwork?

アキト
「何を根拠にそんなことを?」
Akito: Why would you assume that?

万丈
「こないだ、誰もいないキッチンへ
入って行く君を見掛けたからさ」
Banjo: I happen to spot you walking into an empty kitchen the other day.

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

(Akito leaves.)

龍馬
「何、あいつ?」
Ryoma: What’s with him?

凱
「彼とラーメンに何か関係が?」
Guy: Does he have some sort of connection with ramen?

万丈
「あるような気がしていてね。
それが彼の過去を紐解く鍵の一つじゃないかと
思っていたんだが…」
Banjo: That’s the impression that I get. I wonder if that might be one of the keys to unlocking his past...?

龍馬
「奴の凄み…その根幹にあるのは、
間違いなく復讐の念だ。
相当な地獄を見たんだろうさ」
Ryoma: I can tell why he’s so intimidating... He’s out for revenge, no doubt about it. That’s a man that’s been through hell.

凱
(それは…わかるような気がする)
Guy: (I can see why he’d be the one to pick up on that.)

万丈
(でも、僕の予想通りなら、
テンカワ・アキトは優しい人間だ)
Banjo: (But if my suspicion is right, Akito Tenkawa is actually a kind person deep down.)

「お前、こんな所で何やってんだ?」
Cagalli: What are you doing here?

キラ
「M1アストレイのOSの調整だよ、カガリ。
一般的な[ナチュラル]が機体を扱っても
運動性が上がるようにしてるんだ」
Kira: Making adjustments to the M1 Astray’s OS, Cagalli. I’m trying to get it to where the average [Natural] will be able to maintain its mobility while handling the machine.

カガリ
「協力しろって、言われたのか?」
Cagalli: Did they ask you to help?

キラ
「うん…
アークエンジェルの入国が許された
理由の一つだからね」
Kira: Yeah... It’s one of the reasons the Archangel was allowed to enter the country.

カガリ
「…M1アストレイはオーブの守りだ。
お前も知っているだろ? オーブは
他国を侵略しない。他国の侵略を許さない」
Cagalli: ...The M1 Astrays are what will protect Orb. You know that, right? Orb will not invade other nations nor allow other nations to invade it.

カガリ
「そして、他国の争いに介入しない。
その意志を貫くための力さ」

Cagalli: I had heard rumors that Morgenroete were manufacturing Mobile Suits for the Earth Alliance...

自分で確かめにヘリオポリスまで行ったんだ」
Cagalli: But when I brought it up to my father, he kept changing the subject. So I went to Heliopolis to find out for myself.

「でも、知らなかったことなんだろ?

Kira: But your father—er, Chief Representative Attha, didn’t know anything about it, right?

カガリ
「内部ではそういう者もいるってだけだ。
父自身は、そうは言ってない」
Cagalli: That’s what a lot of people on the inside say, but my father has never actually denied knowing about it.

「そんなことはどうでもいいと。
ただ、全ての責任は自分にある。

「じゃあ、葛城二佐。後は任せるぞ」
Benkei: I’ll let you handle things from here, Colonel Katsuragi.

Misato: Got it.

「ディド、あたし達も格納庫へ行きましょう」
Meg: Let’s go to the hanger, Dido.

(Scene begins on a map screen of an island. ZAFT Mobile Suits are on the map. The Ra Cailum, the Oceanus, and the player’s team deploy.)

ZAFT Soldier: They came like we thought they would! If we take them down, we’ll be awarded with the Order of the Nebula for sure!

「ここで足止めを食らうわけにはいかない。
各機は速やかに敵機を撃破しろ」
Bright: We can’t afford to be slowed down here. All units, destroy the enemy forces.

Amuro: Are they an Invader scouting party? Or did they come to stop us?

「その可能性はあるが…」
Hayato: There is that possibility, but...

「意図的に送り込まれて来たのなら、
早乙女博士は俺達の動向を知っていることになる」
Tetsuya: If they were sent here on purpose, then it means that Dr. Saotome is aware of our movements.

「ラー・カイラムの行く先に
インベーダーが現れるとしたら、オーブが
彼らに襲撃される可能性があるんじゃ…」
Kamille: If the Invaders are showing up where the Ra Cailum is going, then they could end up attacking Orb because of us...

「あいつらは中立地帯なんざ、お構いなしだしな」
Ippei: And they don’t exactly care if it’s neutral or not.

アスカ
「私達がオーブへ行かなくても、
インベーダーがあそこを襲う可能性だってあるわよ」
Asuka: The Invaders could still attack Orb even if we don’t go there.

「あいつらが出て来たら、そこにある戦力で倒す。
ザフトだって、相手にせざるを得ないでしょうが」
Asuka: If they do show up, then whatever forces are there will take them on. Even ZAFT won’t be able to ignore those things.

「その通り。インベーダーは共通の敵だ。
ザフトが巻き込まれたら、追撃の手が
緩むかも知れん」
Hayato: She’s right. The Invaders are a common enemy. If ZAFT starts to tangle with them, they may even give up on their pursuit.

「…ブライト大佐、一刻も早くオーブへ
向かった方がいいと思います」
Shima: ...I believe we should head for Orb as soon as possible, Captain Bright.

「とは言え、標的の置き場所には
留意しなければなりませんが」
Shima: That said, we’ll have to be mindful about where we position ourselves.

「ああ、ラー・カイラムとオケアノスが
オーブの港に入るのは危険だ。
島から離れた所に留まった方がいいだろう」
Bright: Yes, taking the Ra Cailum and the Oceanus into Orbs docks could prove dangerous. We should avoid nearing the island itself.

ミスリル西太平洋戦隊の基地がある孤島。
北緯20度50分、東経140度31分に位置し、
熱帯性気候で島の多くは密林に覆われている。

Merida Island

An isolated island that serves the base for Mithril’s Western Pacific Ocean Squadron.
Located at latitude 20°50'N and longitude 140°31'E, it has a tropical climate and much of the island is covered in dense forest.


コーディネイター

登場作品    機動戦士ガンダムSEED

高い肉体的ポテンシャルを得るために遺伝子操作を
受けて産まれてきた人間の呼称。
これに対し、遺伝子操作を受けていない普通の人間を
ナチュラルと呼ぶ。

Coordinator

The term for humans born with genetic engineering to obtain enhanced physical potential.
In contrast, a normal human that has not undergone genetic engineering is called a Natural.

遺伝子調整を施したコーディネイターと比較して、
こう呼ばれる。

ザフト

プラントに属する軍隊。通常の軍と異なり、兵士たち
は本国で別の仕事に就いており、階級は存在しない。
ザフトとは「Zodiac Alliance of
Freedom Treaty」の略である。

ZAFT

The military force belonging to the PLANTs. Unlike ordinary armies, the soldiers are classified by their place of origin and occupation, and there are no ranks.
ZAFT stands for “Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty”.

An anti-Coordinator organization which uses extreme methods. They have deep ties within the Earth Alliance. Their motto is “For the preservation of our blue and pure world.”
