Treaty of Vilna
	Being eager to affirm their mutual political and economic interests, and being desirous of strengthening the relations so happily inaugurated between them and being firmly convinced of their shared cultural and historical union  have agreed upon the following provisions:

	Article 1
	The States of Poland and Lithuania agree to enter into a Commonwealth of Two Nations with a shared Head of State.

	Article 2
	The States represented undertake not to conclude any agreement to the direct or indirect disadvantage of the other.

	Article 3
	The States declare a defensive military alliance, such that in case of an attack upon either one by an external State, the other shall employ all her available forces in their defence.

	Article 4
	The General Staffs of the Armies of each State shall cooperate with each other at all times in the preparation and facilitation of military concerns.
	They shall communicate with each other, in peace and war, all information relative to Armies of external States which is already in their possession or shall come into their possession.

	Article 5
	The States agree to remove all economic frontiers between themselves, to create a common external tariff and customs administration, and to set a fixed parity between the Polish and Lithuanian currencies.
	Each State shall be granted the free use of ports and territory at all times for the transport of goods, including war materials.

	Article 6
	States which contain racial minorities belonging to the numerically superior race of the other contracting State shall guarantee to said minority all rights and liberties and shall safeguard the preservation and free development of the organisations of their national culture.
