On the 23rd of February 2020 I, Deputy Rory Sheil responded to a robbery in progress at the Vangelicos Jewelry store. I responded along with Deputy Chandler Marx in a marked BCSO cruiser with lights and sirens wearing my full, marked, uniform. Upon arriving at the scene and making contact, announcing ourselves, we are met with threats from the four armed individuals inside. Most of this communication is through a woman dressed in a rastafari outfit later identified as Jessica Khan.
We request backup, but all other units are currently responding to a simultaneous bank robbery at the Blaine County Savings. One squad car diverts to our position from Paleto with a long ETA.
At this point in time, a motorcycle approaches the scene and is warned by myself to leave the scene as there is a robbery in progress and firearms have been displayed. The motorcycle continues circling and approaches again. The driver is removed from the bike and detained at a safe distance until the area is secured for his own safety and ours.

After a few minutes the armed individuals ran out to their escape vehicle, unannounced, one of the individuals enter the vehicle and speeds off, almost striking me with his vehicle. As I am obviously in fear for my own life, and the lives of the other citizens of Los Santos I open fire on the vehicle that almost struck me and attempted to escape and receive fire from the individuals left behind. I incapacitate the driver and engage the individuals left behind, getting struck multiple times myself and having my fellow officer also hit multiple times. We manage to incapacitate and secure the suspects, handcuff them and secure their weapons. All four individuals were found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and a blade each which were put in evidence. At this point the backup cruiser arrives. We request medical assistance but none are available so we render what aid we can to stabilize them for transportation to Pillbox Medical Center before booking and processing.
