Personally, as a measure of common decency

  2. Personally, as a measure of common decency, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and not immediately judge them guilty of something without knowing all the facts, regardless of whether or not I'm in court. I think that's a silly excuse to be judgmental, honestly. If it's good enough for our legal system, why would it not be good enough for our everyday lives? I knew what the Prime community in general was like based on my dealings with them in the past but I didn't hold that against you when you popped into my stream. You were nice to me and I was nice to you. That's why to me, I'd rather make up my own mind about someone.

  4. Anyone who hops on board with my crew and my plan does so 100% willingly and can hop off at any time they like. I've explained how it works to them, they get it, and they all like it. I'm willing to bring them all here to talk to you if you are under the mistaken impression that any of them are being mistreated.

  6. I didn't say, nor am I saying now, that you said you were upset. I made an inference about it being a possibility. I haven't told you how you feel, I've instead guessed at how you might feel.

  8. I'm glad you were able to find that conversation and save it. To me, that reaffirms what I've been saying. Even KM ends up thinking that he went a little overboard with the negativity. I came in as a new boy with some excitement in my soul about this new game I was finally able to start practicing and that got sucked out of me because your guys are telling me I shouldn't even make the suggestion to do a trilogy race and have a board up. Keep in mind after you guys dumped on me for the idea, you ended up doing a race of Trilogy two months later (?) with like 10 people (?). To suggest the interest wasn't there and that the runners didn't possess the skill is a hard argument to sell at that point.

  10. Regarding asking for help, I've definitely asked multiple runners to assist me. Edzan13 and Ari13576 were the major recipients of these requests and they've both been incredibly helpful and nice towards me. Both of them are hella busy and can't really afford to spend all their time on showing me some 1-on-1 tutorial love, which is understandable. Despite that, they've tried to talk me through tricks and pointed me towards videos that have explained a decent amount of things for me. I'd even say you've been somewhat helpful during the few times you'd shown up in my chat during a run, it's just I wasn't able to focus much on your tips due to being knee deep in gameplay at the time. The reason I didn't come back to the Discord was because I didn't feel like being made fun of or ostracized by your people; at that point, none of them seemed to like me or take me seriously and I didn't feel welcome. I'd prefer to ask people directly if I think they're open to it. I've also asked Dyceron for help regarding scan dashing and he told me to just figure it out myself and I went so far as to offer to pay Edzan for tutoring, giving him the option to name his price. I'm willing to commit myself to this game but I'm not a top-tier speedrunner and the one VOD I saw didn't explain everything in depth (Early Lifegiver, for example). If I want to get better, I need help. That's just how it goes, unfortunately.

  12. For what it's worth, I don't have anything against you. Other than Edzan and Ari, I've probably talked to you more than any other Prime dude and you've always been nice to me. This thread was the first time I thought you had any sort of an issue with me. My hope is that we'll work it out and find a way to be chill with each other.
