Effect:  Your Charm Rank is raised to Novice* and you gain a free edge for which you qualify. However, until you warm up to someone, you still roll and interact with them as if you had Pathetic Charm. You can force yourself to be friendlier, but it's taxing - you may DRAIN 1 AP to use your Charm Rank as Novice even if you have not warmed up to the target. You cannot raise your Charm Rank further, and cannot use it to meet prerequisites.
