  1. Pros to becoming an affiliate for me
  2. -It's a pretty cool thing to be able to say/brag about
  3. -Global emote. I'd probably ask Angel if I could commission her to make one. I think I could get a really good one.
  4. -It could expand my community and attract people to my channel, which I kind of want. I'd like more people to find out about my speedgames, in particular.
  5. -I really do think bits net people more money than Paypal links, just because it's more readily available and there/you don't have to go looking for it in someone's description.

  7. Cons to becoming an affiliate
  8. -Tax stuff that I have to take care of. To be fair, hiring an accountant isn't a bad idea with the fact that I have so much tax stuff to worry about already anyways
  9. -I worry that bit badges and subbing would create a weird divide between the handful of people who watch me regularly. I don't want people holding it over other people's head that they are subbed or have a higher up badge. This is also kind of the reason that nobody in my chat is modded, because I don't really get randos, so I don't need mods right now, and I don't want anyone to have something to "show off" as it were.
  10. -It really does seem a little silly to do all this work for what's probably going to amount to a hundred dollars every three or four months at best (re:affiliate TOS)
  11. -I'd be more committed to streaming on a very regular basis. This is only a con because of my current internet and living situation. once I fix those it'll honestly be a pro
  12.
  13. ...I think I'm going to do it. now that I have all these listed out like this it seems ridiculous not to. I don't know. I'd love to hear opinions on twitter or discord dms, whichever
