Bio: After forming close bonds in Chicago with local goblin rock band Thrashbang n da Wallops, Skinny Dave went through a brief but eventful period of racing and running that time and again tested his commitment both to the shadows and to his desire to live as a real ork. Through every life-threatening scrape, he hardened his resolve and somehow made it out alive. Though he gained some savvy and some skills, he never found a lasting crew, always partnered up with fresh faces on every run, never sticking with them. Between him and Thrashbang both pining for a change of pace and scenery, it was somehow decided either that he would be making a new debut as a racer and a runner in Bangkok, and the band were tagging along, or that the band were out to tour Bangkok's goblin clubs and bring the Chicago sound with them, and Dave was tagging along. Neither side was really clear on which way around it was even after they got on the plane.
Skinny Dave has been in Bangkok for a little over a month and isn't sick of it yet, though Thrashbang n da Wallops have yet to really break through into the local scene.
Appearance: Standing a little over two meters tall, with all the chrome and cosmetic surgery Dave is actually a little broad for an elf. However, even with some relatively impressive muscle implants, it can't be disguised that his frame is more wiry than it is heavy. He has impressive tusks and a flattened nose, but his sharp cheekbones were practically beyond disguising. He wears his fiber-optic hair in an undercut, left long over the right side, usually in a bright magenta. He dresses like he gets clothes at ME MetaL then drags them across a bar room floor.

Lead guitarist and singer of the goblin rock band Thrashbang n da Wallops, Thrash knew Dave when he was Calvin. He is overwhelmingly supportive of Dave's desire to be an ork, thinking he has the heart of a true goblin. Has had a number of misadventures with Dave in Chicago, Thrashbang has brought the band out to Bangkok partially to experiment with a new musical scene and partially to give Dave an excuse to tag along for a change of scenery.

10dou, Raceblogger (Connection 3, Loyalty 3) (6)
Though presumably based in Bangkok, 10dou had a soft spot for the Chicago combat racing scene and was quite delighted to find out that Dave was coming to his country. Despite this, the two have never met face to face, though they're quite friendly on the Matrix. 10dou runs PathOfHeaven, one the premier independent racing blogs in Thailand, and has something of a cult following.

“Starry” Chaoren [Surname], Mechanic (Connection 2, Loyalty 4) (6)
A young ork with a knack for machinery and a can-do attitude, Starry works as Dave's pit crew when he's racing and as his mechanic otherwise. They've fostered a fast friendship since he arrived in Bangkok, and Chaoren clearly enjoys her role as Dave's one-woman support team. Her nickname comes from the luminescent star tattoos dotted across her entire body.

Yeah Boy is exactly the kind of contact someone like Dave would make in a new city. While Yeah Boy is certainly widely connected, the nature and strength of those connections is generally pretty questionable. He's likely to know where a deal is going down or what's a prime target for a run, but he almost certainly won't know how much security there'll be or if another, better equipped team of runners will be after the same target. But hey, it's not his ass getting shot at, is it, so no worries.
