- Metal Gear Delta (2) Final Boss Guide.
- Ok. Here is the real fight against it. You fight it in a medium sized room, with pretty good cover. It starts off impersonating someone and taking their fighting style, then after enough damage, it tries to use it's true form. It's true form is a bit of a joke. It just runs around the arena, it attacks long range via it's machine gun arm, where you can easily hide behind cover, and it has a flamethrower, but it only uses it at close range. And you only need to hit it once with a rocket for it to go to it's next phase. It does move pretty fast though. Now while it's true form might be a joke (it was made more for infiltration and manipulation than actual combat on it's own), it's imposter forms is much more interesting. They also represent it's 4 phase battle. (The true form is fought in between, and at the end.) They are in order:
- Mal Donivire: The imposter of your best friend and the form it used to manipulate you, it is a pretty simple combat style. Basically, all it has is a hand gun and flash bangs. The gimmick? He can Dodge roll your attacks. And he is pretty smart with his flash bangs. Basically, if he uses it, you need to move quick, otherwise, you are getting shot. And his shots HURT! He is using a very powerful hand gun with very good range. So, basically, you need either use land mines or C4, and to trick him into getting hurt. Luckily he has the least HP out of any of the phases (other than it's true form), so it won't last long. After doing enough damage..
- True Form: just read above. Easy as pie. After one hit via launcher...
- Gaz Dreili: It's a female. Hey, it's a machine. It's not gonna discriminate. Anyway, it has a much more complicated fighting style. It doesn't have any long range attacks. It only attacks via "her" fists. However, it has a a lot it can do with them. Not only can it attack you up close, but it can chase you and attack, create shockwaves via punching the floor, and zooming across the floor, basically a long range punch, which also leaves a air trail behind it that can damage you. (Hey it's metal gear, why not?). It also has the second highest HP in this phase. Luckily, it's real lack of long range attacks is it's weakness. Just shoot the heck out of it, while doing your best to avoid it's attacks. Btw, it hits like a truck in this phase. Anyway...on to true form time.
- True form: Joke. NEXT!
- Hoss Jones: This can be a bit annoying. First of all, it has the highest HP out of all it's phases, including the final one. Also, it loves ranged attacks. Basically, it sticks in the middle, and attacks via machine guns, lasers which he can spin in a circle, aim toward you and fire, and throw incendiary grenades which leaves fire on the arena for a while when the explode. Btw, it's controlling a machine. And yes, its pretty ironic. Anyway, just hit it with 10 explosives, then true form time!
- True Form: NEXT! NEXT! NEEEEXXXXXXTT!
- Solid Snake: Yes you read that right. The final form it uses against you is well...you. And despite having the second lowest HP out of all of the mimicked forms, it's still a challenge. He attacks by...well, doing what you can do. Dodge roll? Yeap. Using every weapon in your arsenal? Yeap. Crawling? Yeap. Cqc if you are close? Yeap. Like I said: Everything. Heck, if you use a smoke grenade, he will even use thermal goggles! Mind you, he won't use stuff like the cigarette - he only uses combat items, but it's still a tough fight. After enough hits...
- True Form: Just one last hit, and you win the fight. Enjoy your happy ending!
