  1. Class notes on discussion day one:
  2. Notes on question one:
  3. We cannot always be depending on others in order for us to progress in life you have to be dependent in order to be a true successful human. If you want achieve something that you truly want, you will go out there and do whatever it takes to get it done.
  4. You need to develop on your own thoughts and not go off on others to increase your own knowledge. The fact that one is not using their own creativity means there will be no progression life. Which goes back to the first comment, always be independent, It will do you good in the long run.
  5. You need to create your own future based off of what you have learned. Many people have thrown out plenty of ideas, but its always best to create your on off of what you think is best.
  6. As José said always observe around you, and make that into something new, don’t repeat what has been done. Be ordinary stand out, be the one to make a difference. You were made to give your part of share to the world. So give the best you have learned.
  7. Think for yourself; don’t let the others out there speak the world that you made. Don’t let others do the thinking for you. Be a genius, make something out of what you have been given, put your own thought into it.
  8. Notes on question two:
  9. Nature is what you gain life out of .We don’t take advantage of nature. If we were to go on a walk or some something, we would thank about what we can do in life relate this world more to what we want to do. Nature can educate you.
  10. When it come to nature it’s a better way to get your point across. If you understand what you find you will progress on that same path and build on what you have been learning.
  11. You can relate to nature better when you connect to nature, when you’re on the same page and eye to eyeing nature.
  12. Nature will always be the best teacher because it’s a hand on based learning, When there is a hands on based learning it’s the best way to make contact with what everything looks like and how everything is done.
  13. Notes on question three:
  14. History keeps us close to the future, a bad experience can lead one to know better in the future. Say you did something wrong and you were put into the same situation again you would obviously know better latter on, because you have been though it once you know what to do better now.
  15. Keep moving on, no one can stop you from what you want to d. If you were to get a good grasp of what you are learning from it would be better.
  16. You have to learn it your help in order to learn.
  17. Evaluations:
  18. The discussion was presented vary well; I would have to agree with most of the statements that have been stated by my peers. Agreeing with Marcela most of the introduction asserts how one should always be independent. We can’t not spend all of our lives depending on someone and going off of someone else’s thoughts. One needs to develop off of their own thoughts and use their own creativity. That is how one knows that are progressing, which also shows “Man Thinking”. I agree that you can sound smart, but if you don’t do anything with your intellect then you’re not going to get anything out of exploring the scholar as the whole human being. In order to explore it as a whole human being one must contribute their part to the world. They did a good job on answering this question but they could have done better on the usage of text evidence. The rhetorical strategies that have been presented like parallel sequences, was a great way to show someone to understand what Emerson was trying to say. As Mira said you relate better with the help of nature, and nature is the best teacher. Take advantage of the nature it will influence into doing better. Go for a walk think about what you could do better, anything relates it to nature. I agree keep moving on, no one can stop you from what you want to d. If you were to get a good grasp of what you are learning from it would be better. Over all I feel like the questions were answered very broadly. They could have done better going into depth about what there thoughts were, but the points that they stated were pretty good.
