  1. “Don't get cooked... stay off the hook!”
  2.
  3. With their signature tagline, Marina and Pearl once again closed up their most recent news report. Pearl however, could not help but to look at the ongoing Inklings in front of their office, staring, waving, drooling... but they only seemed to look at Marina and not her. It did not help that, not only Marina had won the previous Splatfest, but it also seemed like she was going to win the one that was organized that night. She liked Marina, but Pearl could not help but to feel miniscule and underappreciated when compared to her Octoling partner. But she had a plan. A perfect way to have Marina's desire of attention blow up in her face. She asked for a bit of a time up after the news report ended, and went behind the scenes with Marina to talk to her about something.
  4.
  5. “So Marina, as you know, the Splatfest is happening tonight, right?”
  6.
  7. “Oh, yeah yeah, I remember of course!” Marina joyfully replied. She had the bad habit of forgetting about the reports she just did alongside Pearl.
  8.
  9. “Well, your team seems to be winning without much of a challenge, probably because of your attractiveness and charm”
  10.
  11. “Ah- don't say that, you are gonna make me blush” Marina bashfully accepted the compliment “Maybe the kids just like Ketchup that much over Mayonnaise”
  12. “Regardless, this does not seem to be much of a challenge for you, Marina. So how about we make it one?”
  13.
  14. Marina was a bit confused for what Pearl was trying to explain, so she proceeded to turn on the big TV they used during the reports. In it, there was a map of Starfish Mainstage, the battle arena where the Splatfest that night would take place.
  15.
  16. “So I am proposing you a bit of a risky challenge for tonight, to make things more fun than just seeing a bunch of squid kids splat each other for us... I mean, our teams”
  17.
  18. “Aw, but I enjoy Turf Wars!” Marina moaned “But I also enjoy challenges! What do you have in mind?”
  19.
  20. “So we will both meet here just about when the Turf War starts” Pearl said, pointing at one corner near the base of one of the teams. “Think of this as a bit of a race. We will split up, but both have to go to the main stage in the center of the battlefield. Except you go on the way to the right and I will go to the left. All without using weapons nor turning into our squid or octopus form. All clear?”
  21.
  22. “Sounds like fun! Is that all?”
  23.
  24. “Well, if that was all it would not be a challenge, wouldn't it?” Pearl commented with a smirk in her face, Marina nodded to that question. “Because of that, I am adding an extra element to this challenge: We both have to race naked”
  25.
  26. “WHAT?” Marina yelled “P-Pearly, are you sure it would be okay to do that? We could be caught, and we are not exactly nobodies in this city”
  27.
  28. “Relaaax, we won't be caught... as long as we do the challenge well. If it was easy it would not be a challenge!”
  29.
  30. “You are right! It would not be hard if we did it at home or on a public bath...” Despite her words, Marina was still questioning the challenge, but at the end she decided to give it a shot. “A-Alright, I am in. Anything for you Pearly” Marina winked at her.
  31.
  32. “So it is settled in, we will meet at Starfish Mainstage tonight. Don't chicken out!”
  33.
  34. And with a handshake between the two, the Off the Hook duo agreed on this seemingly difficult challenge. What Marina did not know, is that Pearl had some plans that were not part of the official ruleset, but she did not really suspect anything at all. Like, she told her not to chicken out right? There was no way she would simply leave her alone and naked. That night, the two reunited behind a wall that was right behind Team Mayo's Spawn Point. Rather than wearing her usual attires, Pearl wore more casual older clothes that were much easier to strip off and less valuable than their famous costumes. A plain boring T-Shirt and shorts that were almost a big too big for her, plus no underwear. She did want to wear her crown for the race. Once again, Marina did not suspect anything, but she did have her famous outfit on as she forgot to change to a more disposable attire. Just as Pearl planned.
  35.
  36. “Alright so you have not forgotten about the rules, right?”
  37.
  38. “I have them memorized just right!” Marina excitedly whispered “No transformations, no weapons and no clothes besides our boots”
  39.
  40. “And accessories” Pearl pointed out, while holding her crown.
  41.
  42. “Wouldn't want to lose my precious headphones either”
  43.
  44. “The teams have not arrived yet. We will strip and the race will start just as the turf war starts, understood?”
  45.
  46. Following another mute nod, the two girls began getting rid of anything they had. Marina's top was quite easy to ditch, as she simply zipped it down a little bit and her tits were already out. Her lower half was a bit trickier, as she had to remove her boots before being able to pull down both her teal leggings and shorts. She got a little goosebump when she felt the cold metallic ground make contact with her now bare butt, but she easily got over it once she stood up and put on her boots again. In the meantime, Pearl simply tore her old clothes apart, which surprised Marina at first. Both, however, were more focused on how the only clothes they were wearing now did not cover anything from them at all. Marina's dark skinned beauty was now entirely in display, even though she covered herself due to both embarrassment and cold. And while Pearl was not as “developed” as her partner was (despite being older), she was still curvy and showed no shame of her body at all.
  47.
  48. After a few teasy smirks from Pearl and awkward smiles from Marina, the two heard the bubbly sound of the Inklings spawning through the Spawn Points. As the stage got illuminated and the Inklings started their match, Pearl and Marina started running in opposite directions but both going to the same destination: The mainstage that gave the battlefield its name. Or... did they?
  49.
  50. As Marina ran away, with her assets bouncing around at the beat of Fly Octo Fly - Ebb & Flow, Pearl only pretended to do so, before going back to check on Marina's garments. And right on one of her shorts' pockets, she found it.
  51.
  52. “Ah ha! The invisibility badge!” Pearl thought to herself. She knew Marina would bring it with her, as it would be used for the next week's Splatfest. “Even with this, I am still technically not wearing clothes...” Pearl took the badge from the pocket and hooked it to her crown. As expected, she turned entirely invisible. Now she could simply walk towards the Mainstage with no worries besides the ink that could potentially reveal her location.
  53.
  54. Marina on the other hand, was experiencing a complete rush. Despite her fast start, she stopped almost at the start to hide behind one of those boxes that usually laid around in the battlefields. Not only to protect herself from the ink and stares, but also to plan out how to continue with her seemingly eternal journey. She analyzed any sort of possible hiding spots, and also looked closer at the players and their weapons to know what strategies and movements would they go with. Despite her usual clumsiness that everyone loves about her, she was actually an expert in turf wars. When she noticed that the Inklings were all going in the opposite direction she was in, she quickly got up and ran as fast as she could, hands on all her sensible spots to cover as much as she could.
  55.
  56. She thanked herself for coming up with the idea of keeping the boots, as the battlefield had already been splatted in white and red all over the floor. Not only walking barefoot over it seemed icky, but also she could not imagine the sheer embarrassment she would feel if she slipped off and fall over the ground. That is already humiliating when it happens and you are clothed, but also having everyone stare at your naked back as you were trying to get up? Marina's cheeks turned even tealer at the thought of that happening to her. Which luckily did not end up being true as, after her short streak, she managed to get behind a thinner and smaller box, often used for protection in regular matches. Her embarrassment did not end up there though.
  57.
  58. “Marina!?” A male high pitched voice yelled. It was one of the Inklings from Team Ketchup. Marina's heart pulse raised up to one hundred. By his tone he luckily did not seem to realize that she was in a state of undress, most likely due to the low illumination of that part of the battlefield and the fact that Marina's usual clothes did not usually leave much to the imagination.
  59.
  60. “I-I can e-explain thi-”
  61.
  62. SPLAT!
  63.
  64. An ink bomb right behind that curious Inkling Boy just exploded before she could see anything that would cause him to noseink. All his gear flew all over the ground, and it seemed like that whoever threw that grenade was not interested on why was he staring at a random (in this case literal) covering spot. After this moment of pure luck, Marina slightly reached out of her hiding spot to get something from the remainings of that Inkling Boy's stuff: An Undercover Brella.
  65.
  66. “Heh, this is why you are my favourite w- utensil” Marina whispered to herself. She was about to say “weapon”, but remembered the rule of not using weapons. But did it really count if she was not using the “weapon” part of this weapon?
  67.
  68. With enough care not to accidentally fire the gun inside it, Marina opened the umbrella and used it to cover herself before starting running towards her goal again, this time with much care as people would simply think she is just a very defensive player. The fact she could not be seen kind of calmed her down, and even started to enjoy herself this way. Was she starting to enjoy streaking? She did not want to think about it, as Marina was close to the end of her frightening race. There was only one tiny roadblock in her way to the mainstage.
  69.
  70. Suspended over what seemed to be a bottomless pit, there were two metallic platforms, right next to a wall. Normally, Inklings would simply ink the wall and navigate through it. But with no transformations nor ink weapons allowed, it was time to Marina to think outside of the box. Right above this possible end to the run, there was another metallic platform, which had a few steel beams supporting it from falling. Marina closed the umbrella and used its handle to latch into that steel beam. She swung with it, and did not try to look down. Being seen naked by a few people was one thing, but falling off would not be an even worse experience. Specially because the anti-falling security measures were often located in the Inklings' clothes, and if the gusts of wind giving her chills in her bare body was not enough of a clue, she was wearing none.
  71.
  72. With enough swinging, Marina got the momentum enough to jump to the other side totally safe, but having to leave her trusty umbrella behind. It was either this or risking her life... But that was it, she was right in front of the Starfish Mainstage. She carefully went up the slopes, got to the center of the stage and raised her arms as she let out a sigh in relief. Her body was sweaty and her legs were tired, but she did it. She managed to beat Pearl at the race. And not only that, but she did it without getting caught!
  73.
  74. But suddenly, the stage's lights all turned on, now brightening up Marina's naked body in all its glory. The music stopped. Marina looked around, it was all so sudden. Trying to avoid eye contact with the players, who were now all looking at the stage, was not enough, as there was a giant LED screen that was focusing on her constant bouncing assets. The timer froze to allow for the match to resume when the attention was over. Even the smaller monitors, showing posts of the social media “Squiidverse”, were all about what was going on. Sharing rather detailed drawing recreations of Marina's show off, as well as very perverted comments:
  75.
  76. “She is totally naked on stage!”
  77. “Woah, is that Marina from Off the Hook?”
  78.
  79. “Nice boobs and butt, Marina!”
  80.
  81. “I wish I had a body like hers. #NoShame”
  82.
  83. “I want to get my tentacles inside her-”
  84.
  85. T-There was no time to focus on that! What the Inklings were saying on the Internet did not matter as she was a bit too busy worried about the Inklings who were seeing her live. All their eyes, both from boys and girls, were pointing at her. And they all seemed to be totally stunned. The most they would do, however, would be to walk a bit closer to get a better view or mumble to each other about what was happening. Marina was just as shocked and speechless, not even having the chance to initially cover up, but she got an idea. Not a particularly good one, but an idea.
  86.
  87. Marina bent down, giving people in the back an even more clear view of her asshole and cunt, as she got her hands full of the ink in the stage's floor. She tried using it in order to make a literal ink suit for herself, rubbing her hands all over her body in order to try to cover as much as possible. Unfortunately, Marina's nervousness made so she did not cover herself up that well, and the white color of Team Mayo's ink gave the lucky Inklings even filthier thoughts. As she started to realize her mistake, she went for a more conventional method of covering: Arm on her breasts, hand in her crotch, and trying to find a pose where she can cover as much as possible.
  88.
  89. What she did not know at that moment was who was right next to her this whole time, as the mumbling and whispers turned into wolf whistles, laughter and cheerings. Pearl had arrived not too late after Marina, and despite being as exposed as her, the invisibility badge made everyone unable to see her. This is what she wanted, a deeply embarrassed Marina in front of a crowd during the most popular festival of all of Inkopolis. She should find this to be so satisfying, hilarious really! But something did not click right.
  90.
  91. “Come on Pearl, it is your festival rival, this is what she deserves and you should laugh!” Pearl thought to herself, almost as if several voices inside her head were speaking to her. “But... this is too much. I cannot laugh when she is having the worst time of her life... Meeting Marina was the best gift I could have ever gotten in my life, and this is how I am treating her? By having the nude body of this gentle and shy friend exposed to the public like this? This whole “Team vs Team” stuff really made me do something I really... darn, I am too busy staring at this mess to get the word I want. This is why I hate internal conflicts!”
  92.
  93. The word she was looking for was regret, and regret was exactly what she was feeling the moment she noticed a few tears sliding down Marina's blushy cheeks. She was not gonna leave Marina to go through this... alone.
  94.
  95. Pearl took off her crown, and the invisibility badge alongside it, and dropped it on the ground as she got close to Marina, also fully naked and flashing the audience with her flat chest and shaved crotch.
  96.
  97. “Hey you squids!” Pearl yelled at them. “This is not a moment to act like kids, because Marina and I have something for you!”
  98.
  99. “P-Pearly, you came! I won the race but... I need some help now” Marina hid behind Pearl, but her short stature was not enough to hide her full body. Plus she seemed to have forgotten about her backside and the amazing view the Inklings behind her were getting.
  100.
  101. “Oh, Marina, have you forgotten about our Nudist Concert tonight?” Said Pearl as she winked at Marina. Even though Marina cannot read her thoughts, she could clearly get the message she was trying to give her: 'I am as embarrassed as you are but please keep following my game'
  102.
  103. “I-I must have!” Marina responded, trying to sound a bit more confident and leaving her front uncovered “Good thing I am undressed for the occasion” The Inklings giggled at her joke, and so did Pearl.
  104.
  105. “What do you say? How about we give these expert at Turf Wars the best performance they would ever get?” Pearl excitedly asked Marina, before frowning and looking at the audience “Do not get too used to it though...”
  106.
  107. For one final time that day, Marina nodded. Not shyly or without confidence, but amused and determined. Color Pulse started playing as the two began singing and dancing, without a single care in the world. They were naked, but who cares? They were naked together, and that is all that mattered. As much as the Inklings wanted to stare at the duo, some noticed that the timer started running again, and winning such an important match had a bigger priority than looking at two naked girls, as attractive as they were with white and red ink barely covering their naughty bits.
  108.
  109. During one of the songs' instrumental breaks, Marina took advantage and poked Pearl's head to get her attention.
  110.
  111. “Um, Pearly, I want to tell you something”
  112.
  113. “I know, and I am sorry, this was all my fault...”
  114.
  115. “No, no it's not about that. It's that...” Marina smirked “...I have an idea for another one of these dares”
  116.
  117. Pearl smirked back, and was relieved to know she at least enjoyed it in the end. And now she wanted to hear what her beloved partner had in mind.
