I just purchased the GSA SER today.
I am facing lots of problem building links. Too much time-consuming process. Sometimes it says this url is blocked by search engines. Also too many captchas.

Does it need the proxy to build backlinks in GSA SER?

If your scraping for targets I suggest rotating proxies like stormproxies so you're proxies don't get banned. Else use a verified site list

my best suggestion, if you scrape proxi again, it will takes more time for you to scraping links, and it will takes time for you to submit

1. If you want to scrape, choose good proxies service or etc. if you scrape proxy and you dont make sure the proxy is good, its will just make your time waste and you just waste your money.

2. if you dont want to scraping list, you can buy gsa ser list. like Mr. loopline list, or seo rocket, You just input the list in your folder GSA, and submit it, AND of course you still need rpoxy to submit but you dont have to buy a lot of proxies than you scraping
you must have these things to be guaranteed a good campaign and a easy one for that matter

1. good VPS

2. At least 15 - 20 email addresses for account creation and verification

3. Good verified list,makes your work easier an reduces the amount of time spent on scraping for list afresh.

4. Good captcha service also for account creation and verification

5. Nice set of proxies can get you unlimited access to a lot of quality website and helps not to get your local ip blacklisted.

there is many company support catchall email. dont use gmail or yahoo,they have limitation for email verification and you must have good proxies.

catchallboxes, seospartan or buycatchall.com i the best way.
I am going to add to this thread and ask a few questions if that's okay since this is slightly dated....so I am thinking of purchasing GSA ser....

Do I need to buy captcha breaker? The one listed with GSA ser is very expensive, is there a cheaper alternative that works?

I already have like 20 emails yahoo, gmail, yandex, zoho, etc.....

I also have some proxies from storm proxies and buyproxies.org....

I have a spinner ready to go...

Can you download successful forum lists from ahrefs by reviewing your competitors site?

Is there anything else I need to get started? I am wanting to build links to my site and grow it... I am hoping someone here can help a little bit, I am trying to build web 2.0s and rank them for very competitive keywords...

I think another step further would be to use an auto-approve list - although they are not the best, but still, it gives you a list that has a high possibility that it will auto approve your submission, and through that, you'll have higher LPM built in the process. Of course, setting an appropriate captcha solving would all increase the chances of successful posting in the process. GSA SER is quite different now with all the security features involved.

If you have just started using GSA, I would not recommend you scraping. Buy verified list from reliable suppliers to start with. Once you understand the process, you can later scrape list on your own.

XEvil - Captcha Breaker, GSA CB is good too but XEvil is real good, even better if you can get your hands on the beta version

As far as lists go either buy one or scrape your own. But you're gonna need a site list. @loopline has you covered in both scenarios.

@Shaunm has a pretty damn good personal blog about GSA and stuff. Although I haven't seen him around here in a while his blog is still great for learning GSA SER.
Thanks for the tag :) I came back to BHW recently for the BST section but havent managed to rank anything with SER since Penguin 4 went real time and I don't know anyone else who is managing to rank with it these days either.

Used to make about 25K a month only with GSA and EMDs. The Google update in March 2017 killed everything.
