WornJordans Plot Review

Hello WornJordans!!

My name is xDraghun and i will be reviewing your plot today. Lets start off by talking about your structure.

I think you have put some decent effort on your structure, but It's lacking detail. Try to add more detail using slabs, stairs, etc. The plots around spawn also have numerous amounts of detail put into them if you want to check them out. You build has decent depth, but i still think you should work on that. Depth is the layering of different blocks to make a structure seem more realistic and more detailed. You could also refer to ./warp depthtutorial for an example. I think your structure could also use another block that isn't wood related. Maybe you can try using stone brick or cobblestone related blocks and implement them to add detail.

Now lets move on to your organics. I love how you made custom trees but they could use some work. Try not to use the same tree because it can be repetitive. Try making your trees bigger and add some roots and branches if possible. The top part ,leaves, dont seem that natural so u might wanna work on that aswell. If u want, you can refer to some builders youtube channels that have been on the octovon creative server such as DivineMedicus or Plutouthere. (sry i dont know their Youtube channels xD) In my opinion, i dont really like hedges/walls enclosing the structure since it limits how big you can build it, but since you made one, you can try and make it a little more detailed. You could use cobblestone slabs/stairs to add depth and detail to it.

Your terrain as of now is just a flat landscape with the default grass that has been bonemealed and a road. The road that you have built doesn't really match your palette or theme of your build. An easy alternative is a gravel/cobblestone pathway. It's hard to really implement terrain since you have already built on your plot but try and work on it. Add some small hills and maybe a waterfall linking to a pond, and dont use just grass. Try to add variation to your terrain such as cobblestone, gravel, podzol, anything rly that matches your palette.

I have decided that I will not be ranking you up based on these reasons. Try working on your depth, detail, trees, and terrain some more and you might just rank up. Good Luck and I hope you have a better chance with your next submission! :D
