[11:17] The figure wandered around the forests. Just in an attempt to find people. Which once he waded through the foliage around. He came up to the small pond where boars were commonly hunted. Emitting a small groan, as he looked around. At first not noticing the woman around. On his way out his sockets came across her.

He walked up to her and looked over her frame. Noting the small cast on her leg. He'd let out a soft hum as the skull looked up to stare at the Vixen.

"Why are you out here alone... injured at that?"

The thing asked her, aiming to look into her hues should she turn to face him.

[11:28] The foxgirl turned around and sat down on the grass, having just finished burning a few hogs that had disturbed her with her fire magic. As she caught her breath, she noticed movement off to her left and turned to see what it was. "Not another pig, darn i- Oh! Hi there!"

She slowly pulled herself to her feet, making sure not to put too much weight on her broken leg. She winced at his comment about her leg. "I just thought I'd go for a walk... I can't let a simple broken leg get to me! Hahaha... haha... hmm..." Her fake smile turned into a frown.

[11:38] The oddity rose a bandaged hand up to his chin. Canting his head as he looked at her. His sockets staring directly into her pupils. As he stepped closer to the girl. Making the gap between them just a few feet. Allowing her to see the hues behind the sockets in the skull. Like it was a mask.

"Just walk if off? Hmm... well personally I'd suggest that you don't travel alone outside. Unless you wish to die."

The tone carried a dreaded deepness to it with his bluntness. --A small pause was made before he dropped his arm down to be concealed underneath his shroud.

"Various things out here could try and kill you from... the monsters that roam the realm, bandits, soldiers or even the murderers."

Surely the young girl may have heard about them. He'd assume she may have, if not then it didn't matter much to him. As he leaned in getting close to her face. The faint hum that escaped his being ceased, as he seemed to examine her.

"Which given your clothes... you a Fenrir?"

An ominous eerie feeling may have ran in her body from his words. Albeit from such a simple question.

[11:47] "Uhmm..." Feeling a little perturbed from how close the skull-faced person was getting to her, she took a step back. She didn't like death, or blood, or particularly skulls, so she wanted to keep her distance as much as she could. She listened quietly as he spoke before responding, "Err, yes, I am a Fenrir... B-but anyway, is that a mask you're w-wearing? Isn't it weird for someone who looks like a monster to be warning me about monsters...?"

She paused, taking a breath before continuing, "S-sorry if that was rude... I didn't mean it to sound like that..."

[11:55] He remained where he was, when she backed away from him. Moving to stand straight once more. His head leaning back slightly, as he moved to stare into her soul once more. Clearly not minding her fear of him. --The cloak over his body rustled around a bit. Producing a soft rattle, like snakes warding off someone.

"Ah, so you were placed in the cursed house? --Its a shame for you. All the murders that's been going around right now have been solely from that house."

The figure canted his head before shrugging to her worries of the mask/his monstrous nature. --His hands move out of his cloak, wiggling his fingers. As metallic snakes slithered around his forearm. Coiled as the head of the snake rested in his palm.

"I am what you wish to perceive me to be. --If you believe me to be a monster... would you like for me to act like one?"

He said with his humming starting up again, with a glare seeping from his partially hidden hues.

"I could do that just for you~"

[12:08] A shiver ran up Kitii's spine as he stared into her eyes, and she broke eye contact and began fidgeting with a strand of her own hair. She sighed when he mentioned the murders, "Ugh... Y-yeah, I can't believe all that is happening... Can't really believe anyone would want to hurt anyone else in the first place, really. I'm new, though, so there's no way I'd be a target, haha..." she nervously laughed.

"O-oh... Snakes are pretty cute." She kept her eyes on the metallic snake as it rested its head in Skull's palm, but recoiled when he spoke next. "N-no! No... I'm not looking for a fight, monster or not. A monster gave me this broken leg, anyway..." She shivered.

"My name's Kitii, by the way. What's yours?"

[12:19] The snake that rested on his palm, slowly slithered back. Concealing themselves once more. His hand dropped to his side once more. Like it sorta went limp. As he nodded.

"Who knows. However I doubt it as well."

He didn't care to make note of her nervous laughter, and overall uneasiness. He just continued to act as himself the whole time. Which would more than likely continue to give her that perpetual uneasiness.

"You think so?"

As the figure said that a few more snakes slithered out from underneath him. Like they were roaming and exploring the surroundings. He didn't pay any attention to them whatsoever, just allowing them to do their thing as he conversated.

"A monster did? I assume you happened to wonder into the mire? A lot of students head in there on accident, while exploring, or just for the sake of a fight. --Knowing that school they probably didn't even tell you about the location."

He said before humming softly, nodding his head.

"Refer to me as, Skull."

A simple easy to remember way to refer to him. Given how he looks skeleton like. Nevertheless, once those words escaped his being. The metallic snakes that were all around. Started to try and crawl up her legs. Like they were curious with her too. Their progress was up to her...

[12:29] "O-oh, jeez..." She took another step back to avoid the snakes slithering around the ground. As much as she thought they were cute, she didn't want to get herself hurt again doing something stupid.

Wincing as he mentioned the mire, Kitii nodded. "I think that's w-what it was called, yeah... A tree-man broke my leg and sucked my blood before I managed to get away..." She trembled, shaking her head as she recalled the incident. She tried to lighten the mood, to get her mind off of it. "At least I'm not the only one who's made that mistake, haha...!"

"Skull, huh? That's easy to remember. It's nice to meet you, Sk- Hyaa!" She hadn't been paying attention to the snakes for a moment there, so when they tried to crawl up her legs, she yelped in surprise and fell back onto the grass. "H-hey! Hey, cut it out!"

[12:39] The figure stared at her with a lifeless consistent stare. More so when his snakes roam. As they moved to crawl up her body he'd wave his hand towards her. In a dismissive manner.

"Seems they've taken a liking to you... they won't hurt should they stay on you. They've been well trained."

He offered a bit of reassurance to the vixen. Should she aim to take it from the stranger or not. Was up to her. Regardless, the metallic snakes further creeped around her. Coiling and shifting around her body, exploring wherever they may. One finds a spot on her shoulders, coiling softly around her neck. Just sitting there resting its head upon her.

"A ent broke your leg?"

Skull came back around to the earlier statement.

"Tis a shame. Hopefully your leg will be alright soon. --Just do be careful around that area. You aren't the first by miles nor will be the last."

He explains.

"A pleasure to meet you as well."

The thing said before looking over his shoulder at the horde of monsters that roamed in. Before he ignored them, and allowing them to go about their business. Which didn't take them long. Noticing how they already left the two of them once more.

[12:48] "Urgh..." Kitii accepted that the snakes weren't going to leave her alone yet, and instead tried to stay as perfectly still as possible while watching them. Maybe it was a self-defense reflex, or simply her trying not to seem like a threat to the snakes. She raised an eyebrow as Skull spoke. "Well trained, huh...? A-as long as they won't hurt me, I guess I don't mind."

She nodded when he mentioned the ent, pouting a little as they returned to that subject. "An ent? Sorry, I don't really know what the monsters call themselves... All I know is he was a talking tree." She lowered her head and scratched a bit behind her ear to comfort herself. "You d-don't need to worry about me, though. I'm never going in caves again...!"

[12:59] As she allowed them all to rest on her body. They'd coil around her body, as they seemed to start to sink into her. Fading out with a light rattle. It was like they went into her body. --The one around her neck was a little different as it softly constricted around her neck. Not fading but it was like it did something to her.

She could feel that an extremely light bit of her mana was drained out her body. Going to who knows where. Her body felt a quick weight press down onto her body, before it went away.

"The most they ever aim to really do is that. Nothing to really worry about. I'll let that one sit with you if you really want."

He gestured to the one around her neck currently. --Skull tapped his chin and canting his head.

"I thought the skull had a class on monsters at some point. Mayhaps you could do yourself a favor and ask people for some of the manuscripts from that class."

The figure suggested. Before he justhad the last part fully click. She wandered into the caves fully? That was a super dangerous idea but at least she was okay. Just an injury to her leg was hardly something to worry about.

[13:13] Kitii's eyes widened as she noticed the snakes sinking into her. Not sure how to react, she froze in place and whimpered in fear and confusion. "H-huh? What? Urk-" She raised her chin and winced from the feeling of the snake constricting a little around her neck.

After a few moments of silence, she deemed it was safe and began to respond to him, giving him an exasperated look. "What's 'that' mean? What did they do?" She felt around her body with her hands, looking for the other snakes. "Wait, where'd they go? Are they magic or something?"

She gasped as she noticed faint scarring on her body, and an odd feeling of weakness that she hadn't felt before. Chalking it up to a stomach ache, or a cold, she brushed it off and thought about what he had mentioned. "If it means not running into those monsters again, I'd take any class! Even if it's boring."

[13:22] Skull hummed a content sound. He didn't seem to pay any mind to them at all. Before he nodded his head to her. Aiming to answer her question.

"They are magical constructs from the magick I bare control over. I just take a more interesting turn on them compared to the others. Many just create chains with the metal. I... I prefer them to have a bit more character to them. So they are my little snakes."

He explains to her, before looking over towards the direction of the academy. Looking at the towering building that acted like a beckon that told everyone the location of the school.

"There are plenty of classes, however I believe they may have dwindled a bit. Thanks to the killings. So it may be a bit before anything interesting may pop up for you."

It seemed he aimed to ignore explaining what he had did to her. However he does look back. Should she ask again... who knows what would happen? What she knows its that it doesn't seem to hurt her.

[13:29] Kitii calmed her breathing a little and listened to him explaining his magic with great interest. Her eyes lit up a bit as he mentioned magic, and she nodded along as he spoke. "Magic... chain snakes. That sounds really cool, actually." She furrowed her eyebrows for a second. "Wait, but you still didn't explain what they did to me..."

She shrugged. "Less classes means less work for me, right? More time to explore and hang out with friends, instead of sitting in a desk and listening to someone talk until you fall asleep from boredom..."

[13:40] The figure steps forth and gets closer to her once more. Staring down to her, before he crouches down next to her. Reaching a wrapped hand over to the vixen cupping her chin. Where he tenderly caressed her, looking into her pupils rather closely again.

"If you really wish to know. I have control over your body now... Where you could be more obedient. Like any pet should be with there master."

He chuckled as he made it sound like he was just joking. However as the silence fell it was like he was being quite serious. Which when he let go of her he stood tall and backed up once again from her.

"But of course I won't use that against you at all. Unless you make me."

Skull really doesn't believe she would give him any reason at all. Just might as well tell her that. Should she wish to think he would do something horrible with it. --It wasn't his plan though.

"Regardless I also agree. Lectures can be extremely boring. Relaxing with people you like is much better than that."

He nods.

[13:52] Kitii stiffens as he gets closer, still wary of him. "Hm...?" When he cupped her chin, she held her breath and stared back into his eyes, concern and anxiety keeping her from moving an inch. A shiver ran up her spine as he claimed he had control over her body. Even if she didn't know if it was true, she didn't want to find out. It was a disturbing thing to say, either way.

When he let go of her, she let out a sigh of relief and started breathing again, her chest rising and falling as she tried to make up for the lack of oxygen she had over the last few moments. "Th-that's scary, you know..." Her voice was like a low whine, more a remark than an objection.

She nodded as he mentioned lectures. "Y-yeah... Well, at least I'm not the only one. I swear, some of the other students take it so seriously sometimes, it makes me feel left out."

[13:59] The figure shrugged. As it didn't bother him. Course it didn't bother him. It had nothing to do with him. So he never really understood other people's problems with it. Perhaps it was the fact that another could possibly control her. More so due to the fact she didn't really know Skull that well.

"Hmm? --Is there and issue with it?"

He asked before he continued the conversation about the school.

"Its an academy that's meant to bring out the best in people. Or the worst depending. So of course some people will take it quite seriously. But it sounds to me like you need more friends."

Skull said, but its not like he really knew what it was like anymore. Surely it was basically the same.

[14:07] Kitii cocks her head to the side, not sure how to react. "Huh...? Is there an issue with it? I mean..." She furrows her eyebrows, gears turning in her head while she tried to figure out how he didn't understand how scary it is for someone else to say they can control you - and how she could possibly explain it to him.

"W-well, I mean, yeah... It's scary if someone else can do that, because, well, what if they do something bad...?" After stumbling on her words, more comes to her mind and she continues, "And besides, we just met, right? I wouldn't k-know if you meant me any harm."

Hearing him say so much about the Academy piqued her interest. "You seem to know a lot about the Academy, huh? Were you a student there?"

[14:13] Well he knew why he would have an issue with it. Perhaps it was more he didn't care if others really had an issue with it. Nevertheless he just paced around her. Giving him something else to do other than just speak to her.

"I know we just met. I mean if you wish to break the claim. Then either you'd need to either give up something to me... Or beat me in a fight where I'd be forced to lose control over it. --Otherwise it will stay."

He turned to look at her, his form shifting around. As he tucks his arms behind his back.

"Perhaps with time you will be able to trust me. Given I have this control over you, and I won't use it. You probably won't ever need to see how it feels being without."

Skull continued before he shook his head at her last question.

"I'm just someone that knows a lot about most things. Its hard to not learn about the academy when its the main talk of Esshar."

[14:26] "Uh-uh, I'm not making that mistake again. I'm not gonna fight anyone, after what happened last time..." She shakes her head vigorously, thinking about the fight in the cave, if you could even call it a fight. It was too one-sided to be seen as one, really. "I-I'm not giving you anything, either... I don't wanna know what you'd ask for..."

She narrows her eyes a little, showing the first sign of real hostility during their encounter. "I don't k-know if we'll meet again... I don't know if I even want to meet again, if this is the kinda stuff you do to people..."

She shifted her weight on the ground, sitting forward and wrapping her arms around her legs - taking special care not to press her broken leg too hard. Her expression softened, and she felt a little remorseful for what she said, decided it would be best not to apologize. She changed the subject. "A-anyway, I guess I get what you mean about the Academy. It is a pretty big building, it's hard not to talk about."

[14:34] "Hmmm... well I guess that claim will remain."

He said however he adjusted around, not caring if they will ever meet again. It was quite rude of her however. Fate tends to press things a different way. So they might end up seeing each other again. --He presses his finger to the base of his teeth. Like if his lip was there.

"Here I'll at least do this for you."

Skull said as a few moments passed, with nothing happening. After a little bit she would start to feel numb, her body staring to feel a bit cold. As if she tried to move her body about. Nothing would happen. Whereas eventually the pain in her leg started to fade. It felt as if her body was sort of healing itself. --Its not ultimately, but she didn't feel the pain whatsoever.

Suddenly the warmth in her body would return as she could now control her body once more.

"There... that should at least make walking on it not bad. Its not healed but you should be ableto walk on it fine now. Still might want to stay out of fights though."

He explained before shaking his head to what she said to him prior.

"I don't do this to everyone. --Just a select few. Still do as you will... be it never see me again or actively look for me. It matters not."

He nodded to the last comment. Not adding on at all.

[14:45] Kitii froze again, expecting something bad to happen, but gasped when she felt the pain fade away. She didn't notice she couldn't move because she was already stock still, but the loss of feeling and control almost made it feel like she was floating. "W-woah..."

She felt calm, almost blissful for a moment. When the feeling passed, her remorse from earlier returned, and she felt like she needed to apologize. She looked down at the ground and pouted, unable to maintain eye contact as she spoke, "Th-thank you... I'm sorry about what I s-said earlier..."

She slowly got to her feet, kneeling and pressing on her good leg to safely get off the ground She nodded towards him, a slight hint of a smile returning to her face. "I-if we meet again, I'll make sure to say hi... Thanks, again - that was a really nice thing to do."

[14:50] The blindfonded teen was just making his way through the area when he took notice of two presences nearby. Knowing how close they were from a location where the assumed 'killers' were seen, he decided to come closer.

His body quietly floating amongst the trees. He did not recognize any of the two presences. Still, that didn't mean his curiosity was sated.

A pulse of mana was sent through the area, giving him a small understanding while making his presence noticeable. Many things could make it harder to identify one's heat signature, the fact one of them was completely covered in a cloak and even wearing a mask is what was potentially making it harder, that is, if he even knew who was under that.

"Hello!" He decided to float down to the ground. "Is everything alright here?" His voice as cheerful as usual, but obviously cautious as he floated a little closer.

[14:55] Kitii turned to the newcomer inquisitively, then smiled and waved. "Hiii!" She looked at him, trying to remember if she'd seen him at the Academy or not, but failing. One of her ears twitched. "My name's Kitii. Have I met you before...? S-sorry, my memory's not very good..."

[14:56] The figure nodded his head. As he remained still. A minor gesture to assist her along. Albeit it extremely minor. Since he couldn't outright heal it. At least making it easy to walk on is at least something. Pain not many liked to experience.

"No problem, and its fine. Its a normal response."

He showed little care towards the previous comment and her apologizing while sweet. Changed nothing really for him. As once he finished up doing that he looked to stare at the blindfolded kid. --One of his bandaged hands rose up to wave at the boy.

"Hello there. --And yeah we were just speaking really. I saw her out here all by her lonesome so I stuck around."

Skull slid his hand back under his cloak. As he hummed faintly. He was going to head out soon... but he'll stick around for a bit longer.

[15:00] "No, we have not met Kitii. My name is Dallan, it is a pleasure to meet you." While they had never met before, she could certainly recognize him as one of the senior members of House Fenrir by how old he looks and the symbol he bears on his clothes.

His blindfolded gaze though soon turned towards Skull. "Tell me Kitii, do you know who this one is?" Floating a little closer, he smiled softly. "You see, I can't help but wonder who are under under a ll those clothes... child killers have been out in these parts last I heard, so I cannot have a good impression of you, no offense."

The fact Skull was masked is the only reason he decided to stick around, he couldn't properly recognize their voice nor their heat signature. Really, being blind sometimes is such a bother.

[15:05] "It's nice to meet you, Dallan!" She smiles and bows her head a little as she speaks.

Kitii waves her arms dismissively as Dallan asks about Skull. "Oh, n-no, no, he's not evil or anything... I think." She scratches the back of her neck, fidgeting and trying to come up with some way to explain why she felt he wasn't a threat. "He seems... nice... He helped me out with my leg pain, actually." She motioned towards the cast on her leg.

He said before tilting his head a bit. As if to do a partial bow of his head. As a way to return the greeting the Fenrir had given him. He rustled around under his cloak a bit, more than likely to do a bit more of a bow. It was hard to tell.

"You may refer to me as Skull."

The figure didn't care to say all too much. Allowing the two of them to speak among themselves. He does gesture briefly to Kitii, exposing his bandaged arm.

"I did help her a bit. Nothing major since I'm not a doctor."

He admitted.

[15:15] "That is great to hear Kitii, but I don't while I can trust your opinion on this matter, it does not mean that I will step down from this." Still floating in place, he decided to ask something of the girl to have her truly be able to help

"If you want to help, why don't you tell me all you know about them? Such as if this is your first encounter, how he helped you, and if you know if they use magic or not." They needed to, right? After all, like they said, they weren't a Doctor. "Simply saying they helped isn't exactly enough."

Now, to address the masked one. "Skull huh... quite the odd choice for a name. Anyways, Skull... may I ask that you remove your mask and cloak so that I attempt to recognize who's under all that?"

[15:23] "Err... I don't know how to explain it, exactly..." She absently rubbed the light scarring on her skin. "This is the first time I've met him, yeah. He used a magic s-snake... chain... thing to make the pain go away. Or something like that."

She rubbed behind her fox ears absently as she worked up the courage to ask something that had come to mind as they were talking. Eventually, she asked, "D-don't we already know who the k-killer is, though...? I thought at the school meeting they said it was some witch named 'Peppa'..."

[15:30] The figure just stared at the kid before him. Not really caring to explain what he had done. Since it would hard to fully explain everything. So he just nodded his head to Kitii.

"I in a nutshell gave her a bit of my mana and directed it onto her injured leg. To alleviate her pain, where she could walk on it without having constant pain. Just a temporary solution."

He gave his additional bit of information on the matter before he canted his head. Dallan wanted him to remove his mask. --Skull shook his head. Just before he aimed to speak.

"Apologizes, I don't know you well enough to remove it. Nothing personal of course. However if I were to remove it at everyone's behest, that would defeat the purpose."

[15:33] "No... you are technically wrong, but also right, she may have been involved, but I do not think she was alone or the direct killer." With a shrug, he reached for his back and pulled out his bow..

"I imagined that would be your answer, Skull." He knew there would be an excuse to not remove the mask or that it would be pointless to wear it if he removed it at everyone's request.

"I can remove it for you, yes? If anything, I feel only more inclined with the mention of a chain and even that you are profficient in using your mana." Taking out an arrow from his quiver, it was immediately brought to his bowstring, the tip set on fire as it aimed towards the masked figure.

[15:38] The figure wasn't going to stick around and get attacked by some random kid. Tension's being high as they are, he would shift around and attempt to flee the scene if possible. He really didn't want to fight a kid from the academy. Just for them to try and blame him as the murderer too.

[15:45] The figure felt a odd feeling of hostility constantly rise in the air. Due to the arrival of Dallan. A part of him knew that the kid was going to try and attack him. As it was going around that a lot of the students from the academy were just attacking suspicious people. This time was no different. --As he nocked the flaming around onto his bow. He gave a quick glance to Kitii, giving a quick wave to her.

"Nice talking to you. Take care now!"

He called out before a wall of metal shot up around him, blocking the slight of the Fenrir. Granting him enough time to escape from the kid's assault. Once he fled fully from the scene the wall shrunk down into a small pile of metallic snakes. Which slithered into the dirt never to be seen again.

[15:54] His arrow flew to the air, not carrying much of a threat. To a Magi, it would seem like a meaningless thing to even try to harm one with it, however, the moment Skull dodged it... the moment the arrow's tip made contact with the wall, one could clearly see it igniting in flames as if an explosion happened, blanketing it smoke and fire.

It takes but a moment for him to jump over the wall and see that Skull... was actually long gone already!
