- A monstrous tornado unleashes ravenous sharks from Washington, D.C., all the way down to Orlando, Florida.
- When Fin and April go to Florida for the summer vacation, strong winds and lots of rain comes to Florida and a Sharknado comes and destroyes Florida. The Sharknado goes to Washington D.C. and sharks falling from the sky. It's up to Fin and April to stop the Sharknado the third time.
- Don't know why there are a few negative reviews for this movie, what were people expecting! <br/><br/>You know before you see a film called Sharknado3 what you are expected to be in for, dodgy effects, over/bad acting, lots of gore, devastation and a story that does not make sense, so in view it didn't disappoint which is why I gave it 10/10!<br/><br/>I have to the actors must love working on these type of B movies, they can overact all they want, with their tongues firmly in their cheeks because they know that is what is expected of them.<br/><br/>We know a film isn't going to win any Oscars so just enjoy it for what it is, a disaster b movie which doesn't take itself seriously.<br/><br/>The only thing that was missing..... As Dr Evil put it "sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads, is that too much to ask for!".<br/><br/>Looking forward to Sharknado 4 :-)<br/><br/>Oh and if your wondering #AprilDies
- Where as part 1 was watchable because it was made in a time when megamonsters took it up against other monsters or humanity we are now in another era and if you watch this entry you see that it is a campy flick.<br/><br/>The problem I had this time was the fact that it was to be honest a promo flick for Universal Orlando. The effects used in SyFy flicks are of course those from a 50 cent shop. It's terrible. Sharks look giant in the sky and once they eat people they are just smaller. Of course it's all crap that you watch and that's the strength of this low budget franchise and admit it, they are cleaver those producers. Bringing in Bo Derek and The Hoff of course is another reason to watch it. And they do know how to attract the male viewers bringing in Cassandra Scerbo as Nova looking sexy and even walking around in her underwear. <br/><br/>It's full of continuity faults and whatsoever (tornado's going on and trees doesn't move for example). One shot it's raining, next shot it's dry at the same place (the underwear scene).<br/><br/>It's sad to see the decay of Tara Reid, once looking gorgeous and building up a career, nowadays looking like a drug addict. So sad.<br/><br/>I know that part 4 is on it's way, I will have look that's for sure but be aware, it's utterly crap.<br/><br/>Gore 0,5/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 0,5/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 0/5
- After diverting a sharknado over Washington, D.C., Medal of Freedom and Order of the Golden Chainsaw recipient Finley "Fin" Shepard (<a href="/name/nm0005575/">Ian Ziering</a>) heads for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida to join his pregnant wife April (<a href="/name/nm0005346/">Tara Reid</a>), their teenage daughter Claudia (<a href="/name/nm1707018/">Ryan Newman</a>), and April's mother May Wexler (<a href="/name/nm0000137/">Bo Derek</a>). Along the way, he also runs into sharknado survivor turned warrior Nova Clarke (<a href="/name/nm2628561/">Cassandra Scerbo</a>). Meanwhile, more sharknadoes are developing, and the sharknado hunters fear that the individual storms may converge into a massive sharknado wall and destroy the entire eastern seaboard. Sharknado 3 is the third movie in the made-for-television disaster film series Sharknado, all of which have been based on screenplays by American screenwriter/director Thunder Levin. It is preceded by <a href="/title/tt2724064/">Sharknado (2013)</a> (2013) and <a href="/title/tt3062074/">Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014)</a> (2014), and followed by <a href="/title/tt4831420/">Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016)</a> (2016), and <a href="/title/tt6298780/">Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017)</a> (2017). Nova clears a hole in the sharknado wall, allowing Fin, April, and Colonel Gil (<a href="/name/nm0001327/">David Hasselhoff</a>) to successfully launch the Independence space shuttle, but they run into another problem when the rocket doesn't break up the storm wall. Gil decides to try using the Strategic Defense System (SDI) satellite, but it requires that he leave the shuttle in order to manually reboot the SDI laser. Consequently, the sharknado wall collapses, but the sharks are propelled into space and begin attacking the Independence. Fin and April are separately eaten by large sharks just before the shuttle explodes into bits, sending all the sharks back to earth where they start to rain upon the beaches. Fin crawls out of one shark's belly while April uses a chainsaw to slice her way, along with her newborn son, out of the other shark. When asked what he's going to name his son, Fin looks up into space and announces that he's going to be name him "Gil", after his father. Meanwhile, Gil has landed on the moon. In the final scene, April bends over to pick up the wings given to them by the Colonel...just as a large fragment of the space shuttle hurtles out of the sky, headed directly for April. A note then appears, inviting the viewing audience to register their votes at #AprilLives, #AprilDies, or Sharknado.Syfy.com, as to whether April survives, the results of which to be revealed in Sharknado 4. a5c7b9f00b
