[18:59] Nanzo exclaims, "MY FLOWER!"
[18:59] Gilligan asks, "*eye's darkened. Was this mutant really going to contest her? contest THE FLOWER?"

[18:59] Gilligan grabbed her staff and pointed the sharp end towards this mutant.

[18:59] Nanzo crimson hues lit up like smouldering coals lay behind them. He held the flower in his hand and with the other? It reached back to grab his club. Pulling the weapon free! A single word left his lips!
(Nanzo)

[18:59] Nanzo exclaims, "NOOOOOOOO!!!"
[18:59] STAB AT THE GUY!
(Gilligan)

[18:59] Gilligan exclaims, "That flower belongs to XIAN!!"
[18:59] Gilligan hissed as she swiped at the guy, feeling a bit of restraint due to the fact that Torgon had told her not to hurt fellow mire folk. B ut they were disrespecting the rules of the flower! Disrespecting HER!

[18:59] The Mighty One's eyes lit up looking all the while like fresh blood as the triplet of orb's focused upon Gilligan. They felt the first strike and they felt it weak! They where holding back or simply not powerful. With temper's flaring the youthful Mutant's Torgarm swung wide! The mighty club of Ru Shang Yao howling like a wolf on the breeze!

"FLOWER BELONG TO NANZO!!!"

[18:59] They clashed, two denizens of the twisted lands of Shadows. Each one a monster of the occult whose bodies have become tainted and warped. Mockeries of Kraus Eternia's design that yet walk like juggernauts across the lands of Esshar. Waiting for their moment to rise in power and claim what is theirs.

Everything.

That is exactly what was being fought for here. As the occultic curses that flushed through Nanzo's frame convulsed and twisted his already broken mind. Pushing him higher and higher into a rage that would cause the very lands to crack. A rage that was only growing stronger as they fought against Gilligan.

A shadowy magi of immense power themselves. The occult pulsed from them in palpatable waves. Each wash of that foul magic pushing the rampaging frame of Nanzo back. Yet, with every strike to his soul and body? More and more celestial mana came coursing through the Mutant's frame. Pushing it to ever greater heights!

It was that gift from Crom Cruach, that bout of power that ended the battle in Nanzo's favor. A last desperate rush of celestial might sent him careening across the field to crash into Gilligan. The force knocking the Mutant down and sending spiderwebs cracking upon the earth.

"NANZO THE MIGHTY GIVE YOU FLOWER!"

His roaring proceeded him bringing that Sinkic flower to his lips. Exhaling a thick plum of star dust across it he would will the radiation inherent in his magic to twist the flower! Sparking it to change and morph into something new. Something sublime.

Then he brought the flower down and PLOPPED it right into Gilligan's cranium. It quickly took root as the parasitic spawn fed upon those suppressed rages and passions of the mutant. Drawing them out towards the surface as Crom Cruach's corruptive influence encouraged them to let go of their restraints.

Standing over them now the Mutant's temper was still throbbing and yet he'd lost sight of something. Who was he even fighting? With a shift the Mighty One turned and walked away. A clawed hand coming to drag down his face. Why did his head hurt so much?

[18:59] Abe strolls into the pit. Looking for a sparring partner as always.

[18:59] The rage within her regarding the disrespect that this new mutant was displaying, refusing to return the flower to its rightful place, pushed her forward, but not quick enough to correct their foul behaviour. No, the mutant dodged out of the way and the battle was on!

Occultic forces clashed in the air, contorting the space between them and spores flew wide. Flames licked the ground and if it wasn't for the spray of the waterfalls, the wooden bridges would have perished.

She groaned as the shady claws raked at her body, and returned a blast of toxic winds, temporarily stunning the target.

It was an even fight, but in the end the lifetime of injuries made her slower than the youth and right as she tugged at his soul one last time, he managed to sever her concentration with a violent cosmic strike that tackled her body.

She slammed hard into the ground, and the world became a blurr. She blinked confused, before the mutant stood above her. She was about to lash out at their legs but a strange thing was placed on her skull and it was as if the world turned white and her energy faded! Pain exploaded within her scull and a cry escaped her as she felt roots digging in under her skin into her scalp.

"GAH!" Hands reached for her head and she felt a pulsing pain, her body curled up in pain and she remained on the ground. She had failed once more to defend the simplest thing, not even the mire, but the flower meant for Xian, and versus one of their own.. Why did so many betray?

[18:59] Nihil is standing behind Gilligan all this time, supporting them so they don't collapse or worse, making sure they rest against the wall again.

[18:59] Hunter says, "Well...I suppose that's taken care of."
[18:59] Hunter went over to take a closer look at Gilligan.

[18:59] Nihil looks from gills back, at Hunter. Just staring for now, he's too shook up so he does not want to risk moving, or saying anything for now.

[18:59] As she saw that the ogre seemed to calm down, Gilligan hazily knelt down against the wall again. Sweat still visible and she was exhausted. THe headache pulsed violently and she simply said back;

"You're young its okay mhm.. mhm.. But he..."


Her eyes locked onto Nanzo again.
"Is not welcome.."

She allowed hunter to get close, a hand reached up for his cheek as he would kneel down to examine her. "Thank you babe.."

Anger grew within as she saw Nanzo take the flower once more, and the roots gripped under her scalp. The flower just a stem after trogon cut it off, began to grow once more. Leaves sprouted, and a bulb started to show where the cut had been made.
"Gh..!"

[18:59] The Mighty One had returned from his venture outside of the Mire. Scarlet orbs scanned the area and they came to rest upon a flower and a ring. The Mutant simply picked both of them up! The ring slide upon his finger causing his lips to pull back into a smile as the power thrummed. His focus shifted to the flower and he took it as well, sticking it into his hair as his focus shifted towards the sound of someone's voice.

His attention was now settled upon Gilligan. "I, Nanzo the Mighty, am not welcome? Who decided that?" With a high-pitched voice the young mutant inquired about their words.
(Nanzo)

[18:59] Nihil Fatuum says, "You had stolen the flower, that was memorial for the fey guardian."
[18:59] Nihil Fatuum says, "That would be the reason why you're not welcome, Nanzo."
[18:59] Upon closer examination, Hunter eyed the flower that appeared to be growing out of Gilligan's scalp. It seemed a tad extreme to be a fashion statement.

Hunter gently placed his fingers around the roots and slowly but surely used his mana to slowly kill the flower down to its roots.

Once this was done, Hunter would go into his pouch and take a roll of cloth. With a precision that could only come from many experiences in healing others, Hunter bandaged up where the cut had been made.

He'd even give a light kiss atop where he had bandaged.

"You should be better in a while if you rest up."

Hunter then turned around to look between Nanzo and Nihil.

[18:59] Tien upon exitting the main hold of the Mire, Tien would take perch upon a flat of the rock spire. His gaze shifting between those gathered around. Wondering what was going on.
(Tien)

[18:59] Nanzo asks, "Steal?"
[18:59] Nanzo says, "Nature cannot be stolen."
[18:59] Nihil Fatuum asks, "Then how do you explain taking a flower that was put there to honor someone?"
[18:59] Hunter says, "Needless to say, you disturbed the grave of our late BloodMistress."
[18:59] Gilligan says, "Put it back..."
[18:59] Nanzo says, "Who're you to speak of anything to me Hum-"
[18:59] Nanzo his attention shifted towards Hunter and Gilligan.
(Nanzo)

[18:59] Nanzo says, "No, it is mine."
[18:59] Hunter sighs.
(Hunter)

[18:59] Hunter says, "I really rather not resort to brute force as Torgon forbid fighting between members."
[18:59] Hunter says, "So I ask, put the flower back."
[18:59] Nihil Fatuum says, "But he already broke the rules by attacking Gilligan."
[18:59] Nihil turns to Hunter with saddened expression.

(Nihil Fatuum)

[18:59] Nanzo eye twitched as he looked across at Hunter.
(Nanzo)

[18:59] Nanzo says, "Don't threaten me. "
[18:59] Hunter asks, "Or what?"
[18:59] Gilligan says, "I would.. Fight you again. And kick you out.."
[18:59] Hunter turns to Gilligan.

"Please just rest for now."
(Hunter)

[18:59] Gilligan 's head was bandaged up now, and she did feel a bit better. Both Torgon and Hunter had assisted her injury, but that' didn't mean the hurt wasn't still there. Emotionally and physically.
(Gilligan)

[18:59] Gilligan would attack the man if they dared hurting Hunter tho, even if hunter requested her to stay down. She eyed Nanzo, silently with ever darkening eyes, and anger.
(Gilligan)

[18:59] Nihil comes to Gilligan to keep her rested against the wall. "Please do not move, it will hurt only more if you do."
(Nihil Fatuum)

[18:59] Tien didn't truly understand the importance of the Flower. Though some insights were gained here as up til now he only knew it was a memorial. One that often wen't missing. With such when as much happens Tien moved to replace the Sinka, he knew well it wasn't a good idea to take it but not everyone in the Mire truly knew the importance.

[18:59] Tien asks, "Do we really need to fight over the flower?"
[18:59] Nihil Fatuum says, "The diplomatic solutions are quickly exhaustion because of the stealers pride, miss."
[18:59] A step was taken by the youth as they walked across the dirt towards Hunter. Closing the distance and casting aside the safety that it afforded him. Those triplet of scarlet eyes narrowed as they locked upon the older mutant.

"I'll break you."

There was a pulse in the back of his mind as that occultic curse added fuel to the fire of his rage. His attention flicked back past Hunter towards the Human for a moment. Though, their presence would have to be ignored. Hunter was far more pressing of the two threats.

[18:59] Hunter cracked his knuckles as he stared down the young mutant. Perhaps this one still needed to be taught some manners for the rules of the Mire.

"Come on and break me then."

The words were meant to rile the younger mutant up. Perhaps maybe even throw them off their game.

[18:59] And so the battle begun. Hunter had rarely ever been one to encourage conflict but this was over Xian's memorial. This was something he could never turn his eyes against.

Once more, it seemed like Hunter would have to fight yet another Cosmic user. What was with his luck and always running into them? Regardless, Hunter was pretty sure that he had more experience dealing with Cosmic mages than most else in the Mire.

Being within the dark caves, Hunter was in his element. Jagged spikes of earth would come aimed at Nanzo from the floor, ceiling and walls.

Hunter also commanded a vast amount of sand that could bind and restrict the younger mutant's movement.

"You are definitely strong."

Hunter could admit this much to the younger mutant. Seeing an opportunity, the man would close the distance and deliver a decisive blow with his fist to Nanzo's ribs.

"But your attitude needs a lot of work. Starting now you canconsider yourself under my command until you beat me in fair combat. I look forward to working with you. Mr. 'Mighty' Nanzo."

With this, Hunter would go into Nanzo's pockets and retrieve the Sinka that was stolen, placing it back carefully in its original position.

Breathing a huge sigh of relief after that fact, Hunter would say:

"Sheeesh. Don't wanna fight anyone from the Mire. It's not fun."

It was true, if it was one thing Hunter did not enjoy, it was fighting those who were supposed to be his comrades.

[18:59] It was another battle, another challenge for the Mutant to overcome and yet it wasn't against the foes of his home. It was against his homes elder guardians. Why did they refuse to give him what was his? Who was this Xian that they would turn against him for them?

Perhaps it was that miscommunication that brought all this violence to the forefront. That and the curse of fel-rage that coursed through his heart. The caverns weren't his ideal place to battle and it was clear that Hunter's experience turned the tide into the Commander's favor. Yet, the more they fought and the more those jagged stone's struck him the angrier the mutant became.

'You are definitely strong.'

The words sounded like a taunt to the Mutant as they struggled against the sands. The strike to their ribs sent another ruffle of pain through the Mutant's body. They let out a growl from deep within their throat as those eyes narrowed upon Hunter. The pain from his battles were starting to get to him but that rage kept the monster standing.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!"

A scream was the only answer that Hunter received as the Mutant called upon his star. With a flash celestial light blew the sands away and in that same moment the Mire monster was like a beacon blasting through the darkness. Were where they even going? A mutant only had the Mire to dwell after all.
