➸ YIYEON is more often known as an actress rather than someone in the music field as she had gained lots of popularity from being a child actress and her roles in several popular (web) dramas. her most renowned roles include yeseo on sky castle, boram on ateen and eunho on school 2017. her duality in roles have earned her quite a name in the industry

➸ was under jyp ent initially as an actress until sometime during her contract when she decided to switch to the music field as an idol trainee, training for close to a couple of years before quitting on good terms and joining rbw. from her actress and trainee days, YIYEON is close with ab6ix's daehwi and woojin and stray kids' minho and jeongin. was planned to debut in itzy back in mid 2018 until yiyeon abruptly left the company

➸ YIYEON keeps a large collection of mcu comic books and loves every one of the movies. adores all of the cast and characters way too much

➸ YIYEON is extremely good at concentrating and working under high pressure after balancing studies while filming dramas and training to become an idol. while she doesn't have the best grades in the entirety of her cohort, she still does very well and is in the top 2% of south korea

➸ the main reason behind YIYEON suddenly wanting to pursue music is due to her interest in kpop. while she does listen to every artiste possible, her favourites are stray kids, onf, day6, snsd, aoa and red velvet

➸ YIYEON took up rapping as a random hobby to practise when she wasn't studying in the waiting room of drama sets simply because she was already accustomed to speaking fast and thinking fast. she'd also been good in tongue twisters and adlibs so she'd simply transferred those skills into a musical sense. meanwhile, she had picked up singing from her musical actress of a mother

─ ❝ gosh... when my company first mentioned this show, i was one of the first to volunteer to take part. i didn't even know back then what was going on through my mind, my instinct just took over and i signed the contract. till now, i've experienced so many things i'd never forget in the years to come because everything i've learnt and did on this show have made me the better person i am now and i just have a few groups of people to thank for that. uhm, first of all, my dearest friends, we tease each other a lot and have gotten to know every side of one another, be it our weak one or our determined one. i'll be treating you all to a meal after this ends so, let's stick together forever and ever! secondly, to the mentors in the show for reaching me so much. i've been lacking as a performer since day one and i still am but because all of you were so patient with my mistakes and encouraged me to continue on without giving up, i was able to make it here. next, my family for raising me and letting me discover myself when i'm sure not all of you were agreeable to my choice of being an idol. even if you disagreed, i knew it was because you were afraid i'd get disappointed since i was doing so well in the acting industry. soonie, roonie and doonie, i can't ever be with you guys for very long but i'm grateful for all the days we've had together and for cheering me up with your antics, let's grow old together! also, everyone who's supported me throughout this entire journey, i can't convey how grateful i am to all of you but i know that you've worked really hard to get me here so i really love you all a whole lot ! let's only walk on the flower path and love one another ! ❞
