- * Born among the coastal wolf packs of Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii, he quickly became one of the best swimmers of his birth pack, with a seemingly endless endurance.
- * His Change was triggered during a poaching attempt on the pack; one of his siblings was wounded, and he mauled the hunter terribly before the man's friends could haul him away on their boat, terrified. His sibling survived thanks to the local sept's care, and he is unsure if the hunter lived or died.
- * The Broken Dawn Caern took him in and taught him the ways, both Garou and the local Native people. He took to swimming as a messenger for a bit of time before attaining proper Rank status, then was taken under the wing of the sept's Truthcatcher, Jericho Moon's-Changing-Faces. He learned the Litany and the various rules he would need to survive among humans as well.
- * Rising in Rank as a talented Philodox and adept swimmer, he took part in the many fights his home sept participated in along the coast. He sired a few litters, though isn't sure if any have had their Change, with how transient the Vancouver Island wolf population can be.
- * However, encounters with a strange being who seemed to have something against his bloodline unsettled him. The strange being would sometimes be seen stalking him from a distance when at sea or near the coast, and a handful of scuffles resulted in a few of his scars. He is unsure what exactly this being is (it could be a Rokea, one of the strange seagoing Gangrel, or perhaps something stranger still), but they clearly wanted to harm him. He knows this being as Inkwell, and the idea of theme makes him quite nervous.
- * Following the encounters with Inkwell beginning, he started to search for more information about his family line. He ended up meeting with the Ancestor spirit of his Garou great-great-great grandmother, Siah Flawless-Sky, and they two began to bond.
- * However, a powerful storm would eventually blow him away from his home sept, striking when he was on a solo fishing trip. He would wash up on the coast not far from Seattle, and, disoriented, wander for some time trying to figure himself and his situation out. He is under the impression that his previous sept will not want him back due to losing his canoe and his footing in the storm, and such intends to stay for some time. He was hesitant to approach any local Garou, but following and encounter with a (real) Orca whale, he ended up reconnecting with the spirit Orca once again, following under her banner and now seeking to make connections.
- Rank Challenges:
- Cub -> R1:
- A simple task, due to the sept being relatively peaceful at the time. He was tasked with delivering a fetish from the farthest island of the bawn to the mainland, without using a boat.
- R1 -> R2
- A test of endurance and skill at the duties of his Auspice. Diving to the bottom of the cove at one of the bawn islands and resurfacing with a stone carved with each tenet of the Litany, in the correct order, and then reciting it from memory while swimming.
- R2 -> R3
- He took part in a multi-pack offensive to drive a group of Black Spiral Dancers from Victoria, him in particular helping the war-pack he was with at the time to convince a powerful local spirit that to help them would fall under its nature, and thus gain its blessing. This act combined with the success of the mission gained him his next Rank.
- R3 -> R4
- The recovery of information regarding his Ancestor Siah Flawless-Sky was what prompted a challenge for his fourth Rank, and the challenge was to discover and record her mightiest deeds, without asking the spirit directly. A careful combination of local records, rites of genealogy and truth, and cajoling spirits got him the information he needed to pass the challenge.
