He orders them all online and gets updates for future issues and eventually plucks up the courage to send in a letter to the guy behind it (because, really, Shiro, letters are so old-fashioned)

He's so endlessly appreciative of Keith taking his time with him that he makes sure to return the favor by showing off the fact that, yes, he's just as capable of being spontaneous and passionate, how much he enjoys getting to be here with Keith, and that, hey, life is short why wait around?

they settle into "living together" life embarassingly quickly
and tbh keith and shiro BOTH are probably worried about like
infringing on keith's need for personal space
but it never becomes an issue?? keith's happy to climb into bed with shiro every night
and he never shrugs off shiro's touches

Being who he is, though, Shiro makes sure to tell Keith that he wants this to be good for both of them and he's spent enough time with him to understand if sometimes he does need space and it shouldn't come down to preserving domestic harmony or whatever over taking it
Because this isn't just his life and his space, it's Keith's, too!
