- [06:17] Revan would wake up suddenly with a desire to get to work, was this outburst of energy a mark of a magi? He was not about to question a good thing. Sitrring from bed as he begun to change his bandages, as Revan was ought to do every morning, he would ponder what he should do first. Hades had seemed to be quite proactive in his Alchemy.. That would surely make their family a lot of money, however, Revan felt as if he should do more to contribute to his family's little business. He used to cook for them often, but seemed to dedicate more to training. Thinking, he would remember all of the boar he saw to the south. He wanted that protein.
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [06:55] Starting his long trek south, Revan would take a brisk pace, donning his Father's Nyeshk chest plate. Anything could serve as training, especially the half-continent hike he was about to embark on. He knew that this would not serve as his eight laps around the mountain, however, it would be the warm up he needed.
- … Or so he thought- he now understood why his Father had given him the armor well before he was ready to wear it. It was to show him he wasn't ready, and still had plenty of growing left to do. It was awkward to move in, it was somewhat restricting, mostly in how it's size was much larger than the teen's own torso, and rattled around with every stride. That, in turn with the dense metal it was smithed from, it constantly pulled and tugged on Revan in every direction.
- Eventually, however, he would make it to the isthmus that lead to the desert, The task would spot his prey, a drift of boar. Huffing and puffing already, he would begin doing a more intensive stretch- or perhaps it only felt more intensive because of his newfound resistance training?
- However, once his muscle felt good and limber, he would rush forward, leaving no survivors, and taking no prisoners.

- [07:24] The boar themselves did not pose much of a challenge in and of themselves, but everything done in this armor certainly raised the difficulty. Now actually fighting, and using bursts of movement, Revan would find the armor had much more inertia than he was used to when fighting in just his normal clothing.
- His Father taught him to throw his enter weight into his target, punching and kicking THROUGH them. He would continue to follow that lesson, however, it was less of a follow through and more of being DRAGGED through.
- It made him sloppy. Every strike would not flow effortlessly into the next, as he was used to, he would have to strike, recover, redirect himself, and THEN continue his assault.
- Every boar that went down, he questioned how he could improve, he knew the strength would come in time, though surely there was more to wearing armor than strength along. Like everything in life, there had to be a technique for it, a way to hone a skill.
- His solution to this was widen his stance, lowering his center of gravity so the armor dictated less where they went. But that wasn't the only change Revan made, more and more of his attacks would come downward, using the armor's immense weight to only add more OOMPH to every blow.
- This change in style would prove quite beneficial, for he didn't need to put as much effort into channeling mana through his muscles per strike, and could focus on simply using it to keep the armor more in check.
- Just as he was making some headway wiping out the group and filling his pack with their skins and meat, it seemed their alpha had appeared, glaring down at the training teen with a snort, kicking up some dirt as it prepared for a charge.
- Finally, a worthy opponent.

- [08:12] The beast had charged, and Revan readied himself, he gave himself a good margin to dive out of the way and miss being gored. Pivoting on one foot, he prepared to retaliate with a strike of his own, though his armor would say otherwise. Rather than breaking ribs, as the pugilist intended, he would find himself tumbling into the dirt and onto his back.
- How embarrassing.
- The proud Task was thankful there were no witnesses.. Or none that would live to tell the tale. He was almost like a turtle on his back, trying his best to roll for a moment, but he would find he would have to punch the ground behind him to roll onto his stomach, and push himself up.
- Though the Alpha boar, impressive in it's own right, had already turned around and begun it's charge before the teen was even fully on his feet. Before Revan knew it, all he saw was sky before he'd come crashing back down into the canopy of the jungle, the beast had thrown him over it's shoulders.
- Disoriented, and slowed, the teen would place a hand on a nearby tree to help pick himself up, but the Alpha was already closing in on him.
- SLAM
- It was an unusual sound, tough flesh and bone on armor against wood. The force was enough to knock the wind from his lungs, golden hues going wide with a pain he couldn't even vocalize.
- Was this it? One of the soon to be great Task Triplets, taken out by livestock? As his vision had begun to fade, he would see his Valero, Hades, his Father.. How disappointed would they be? Fenes, Hans, Lilith.. How upset would they be? Then he heard his mentor's words.
- It ain't jus' 'bout th' rock, no, it's beyond tha' t'.
- He would feel his left hand cock back, the boar taking a step back only to prepare another slam in an attempt to crush and gore the teen.
- As stupid as it is this rock 'fore y' is nothin' more than a steppin' stool. 'cause if y' can't break a rock then 'ow th' 'el are y' goin' t' do real damage t' someone aimin' fer yer life?
- As the beast made it's fourth charge, Revan wouldn't dodge, but strike back. His hand held open as he thrust his palm forward to meet the beast's skull.
- I won't let some swine stop me from bringing it's bacon home for my friends and family.
- His hand making contact with the boar's skin, it almost felt as if he had absorbed the boars energy, resulting in the Nyeshk clad teen to ignite in a brilliant cyan aura, unlike he had seen in either of his brothers. Continuing to push his palm into the alpha's skull, he would feel all of that energy travel down his arm and back into the boar. It would be sent hurtling back into the jungle, smashing through tree and brush alike, showing it's lethal intent.
- Blue mana would linger in the path of the boar for just a moment, and Revan would stare in disbelief.. He was learning new things everyday as he continued to unlock what his body was capable.
- Pushing off from the tree, he would limp over, it would seem that the strike had broken just about every bone of the behemoth's body. Beginning to carve it up, Revan thought now would be a good time to head back to the mountain.. It would be much harder with his given injuries, and all of the pork he would have to haul back.
- No pain.. No gain.
