── BACKGROUND :
  𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇, 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎'𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐘. all of their actions weren't for the bad, they just wanted to prepare their children - something their grandparents didn't do to them when new rules were added. that action itself wasn't giving them a hard time but they just wanted to make sure their children were cultured well. her mother was a head chef while the father was a jeweler. despite being fourth in the caste, they were always humble and never really ticked off anyone. the only problem was that the business was often slow. with the mother always cooking for the royalties, thus rarely coming home, and with the father making jewelries - hoping for a few people to come to buy something, they lacked money. as ironic as some would think. their salary wasn't what they had hoped for and could only pray for a better and brighter future.
   that's where the bae siblings come in. eun-jeong and eun-woo both picked up respective things from their parents. with the girl more like her father, her brother was definitely the exact replicate of the mother. because of this, the girl would always be in the shop to make more jewelries with her father - with the brother occasionally coming. likewise, she would sometimes accompany her brother in the kitchen to the try their mother's recipes. because she was taught about the selection, she had fantasized marrying a prince - just like any innocent little girl. because of this, she was determined on singing up for the selection, with the money being a part of the reason. no matter how many times her friends scolded her for the shallow reason, that won't stop her from doing so.
 she practically begged her parents to buy her books about etiquette, manners, posture, etc. she went all out. from learning fashion to baking yummy goods from her brother - she was determined on this mission of her's. despite her confident aura, there were times where the girl was exhausted, where she was crying to her brother about the stupid heels. she was nothing more than a lady with high dreams. in conclusion, she's just another girl hoping for the happy ending she wished for.

  the girl is in between of talkative to being quiet. to those who she has deem to be comfortable around with, will start chatting happily with them. she's quite chirpy and bubbly. whenever not around those she is familiar with, she'd start being quiet - a poker face evident on her face. she usually replies in short sentences whenever questioned. a neutral personality she often shows towards others.

 she's genuinely a smart person. she got good grades and was very active in school. it's just, sometimes you question if she really is smart with how she acts. she sometimes does dumb things without realizing only to realize it a minute later and face flushed due to being embarrassed.

that's why i took the chance. i know how much it means to mother and father.
if i were to marry the prince, i'd be able to at least pay off the
debts and pay for my siblings' education.
