Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe 2 - a thesis

Story:
Taking place after the events of MKvsDCU, Shao Kahn and Darksied escape their respective prisons of the Phantom Zone and the Netherrealm, their abilities augemented by the energy of their former prisons. Encountering each other on the mystical plane of the Ether, both villains form an alliance to take revenge, manipulating the energy produced by the Ether to fuse the worlds back together. Both sides end up forming alliances, some good and some evil, in a battle for the fate of both worlds.
- Can choose from either DC or MK sides of the story.
- Plays the same as most NRS game stories.

Gameplay:
- 2D plane.
- 4-Button Gameplay from MK9. MK chars keep their old combo strings, DC chars adapdted from Injustice with new moves and combos.
- Block button replaced with Character Power button from Injustice. Equal split in cast between Gadget and Power characters. MK characters get powers - Sub-Zero has ice armour, Baraka can sheath his blades etc.
- Blocking is done by holding back.
- Four-tiered super bar. One meter can be spent on EX moves, two on Kombo Breakers, three on Supers.
- EX Moves: Same as MK9
- Kombo Breakers: Same as MK9
- Supers: Same as Injustice. Supers transform into Finishers when first hit strikes a weak opponent.
- Klose Kombat: Initiated when two grab attempts connect. Both characters pummel each other, the players must match buttons to gain an advantage. Klose Kombat winners gain a slight meter boost.
- Stage Transitions: Similar to stage transitions and Clashes from Injustice. Players wager a certain amount of meter to try and come out on top.

- All 25 characters from Injustice
- All 25 characters from MK9
- Quan Chi, Doctor Fate, Shao Kahn and Darkseid unlocked from Story Mode.
- DLC Characters: Lobo, Batgirl, Kenshi, Skarlet etc.

Extras:
- Krypt hoses unlockables that can be purchased with Koins. These include concept art, music pieces, extra costumes and secret videos. NO SCREAMERS!
- DLC Costumes available: Flash Point Batman, Klassic Scorpion etc.
- Mission mode with bullshit challenges.
