「the liner heading to the Magickingdom is it, the attack the other day, the ship got damaged. the repairs might take a bit of time.」

Roel was relieved that the liners itself was still able to move but, we don't know when we will be able to ride on it, so we can't do anything about it right now.
but still it looks like you can still reserve some tickets, so we only did that and left the harbour after it.

「here you go, make sure you don't lose it ok」

saying that, for some reason roel made sure it was on her hands, though i know that if its me you'll get anxious but still.
however, with this we have too much time on our hands, we don't know what to do then. though saying that, we only have one thing we can do.

◆Avangard Kingdom: Guild◆

at the moment we entered the inside the Guild, we were bathe in glances all at once. "its the tougi taikai-", hearing that kinds of word, are they the people who saw my matches? nevertheless their gazes hurts. Am i being praised or am i being trash talked, i am confused that it makes me uneasy. "its ryua-". "a kid like that-" hearing those kind of fragmented phrases, peirces me.
and among them men wearing an armor proudly walked through the crowd towards us.

「We are "Royal Knights". You match during the Tougi Takai, it was magnificent」

people wearing those heavy armor in a line, see that make you hold back your breath. The 5 Royal Knights people were lining tidily in one line. i'm happy that you praised me, but why so suddenly?

they were people who frantically invited me, and somehow there were poeple who so self-important but i only continued to refuse them. right now i'm quite used to it but, from the beginning i am bad with meeting people i don't know. its more tensing than when i am fighting, i am many time more tense and i can't properly talk. Roel looked so painful being jostled around, so I forcufully slip us out.

「haa....haa....um, but we are already in a party so」

Roel held her cheeks with both of her hands appearing not so dissatisfied. more than that making roel something like freebie, makes me mad. (9: KILL!! KILL!! KILL!!)

when i was about to say something, before i knew it Kirkton was right before the entrance and was looked at us. while he was inclining his semi-oblong head, it looks like he doesn't really know what's happening. I wonder what the commander of the kingdom is doing in this place? everyone seemed to be surprised from the person out of place, and then they dispersed.

「nmu? did i happen to disturb what's happening?」

We both greeted Kirkton together, "Oh" kirton then revealed a smile. its like he just said " i was waiting for you" and then spread his arm wide and wrapped us with it. I wonder if this guy uses 2 swords.
there scabbards with sword hanging on his waists. though i only didn't have the time to look at him fight before, for some reason i'm getting curious.

「So Kirkton-san also comes to the guild」

「well, you see i thought that maybe i should make some quests. the accidents the other day, as i thought that the trainings was not enought and reflected on it. Even though it's our job to protect the country, we had to rely on the adventurers. so if we have some adventurers with good skills to have them join and coach their combat style, then i think we can get better.

I understand that they want to request an adventurer for their training. but still, do you really need to make a quest for that? i was curious so i tried asking him.

「um, won't the Big five do?」

「They themselves are busy you see. though Of course, I would be happy if they do.
thats right! you, may i ask you!? 」

「yeah, if its you who brought down the Revived Demonlord Army then, I'm sure the morale of the soldiers wile rise」

I feel like really crying evertime towards Roel's kindness. it might be exeggerating but, i really think of it like that. (9: for me everytime i read that, i feel like the evil part of me is screaming in pain)

「oh, that's great! so you are willing to do it! well, that really helps you know!」

he held my hands really tight, just how happy is he? after that with Kirkton, he was beside me saying "hurry hurry"  until we finish the doing the procedure for the quest, he was noisy.  though I haven't really talked with this person, somehow my image of him somewhat changed. if i had to say it, he's unexpectedly like child.

「yosh, so its finally done. its so sudden but, come with me.」

We went to the castle together with kirkton. there are crumbled building here and there  but, did this part of the place didn't got damage? if you campare it those its pretty much clean. i think that i heard that the big five defaeted the monsters that attacked the town.
even the monsters in the colosseum, if its just me there too many monsters to handle,really those guys are awseome. (9: no, you can probably handle it one hit, just that the colloseum might get erased)
So an A rank, i want to quickly take the advencemnet exam. of course, going to Ikana village is first priority but is because of that i learned about the world? my way of thinking inside me changed.

「somehow we are being looked at........」

Because Roel was looking around restlessly, I too looked around, among the people we have passed to there were people who turned around to look at us.

he was right, but still i just can't agree with the final match. I want to fight Tifelia-san again. and because of that i want her to quickly get better. for some reason Roel is excited. after for a long time coming here, i feel nervous. since for me to teach someone is a first, and more than that it will be people i don't know, i might shy away.
when we came near the Castle courtyard, i suddenly got curious about Tifelia again. as I said before i can't do anything about it but, can't i just give her something.  let's try asking Kirkton-san if we can meet her later.

「this the entrance to the training grounds」

opening the door, the ceiling was the same as the courtyard, its was blown through(if you don't get it tell me) wide space. and the the soldiers were yelling something that i don't understand while exchanging blows with spears and swords, or doing push-ups again and again.
unconcerned with the open sky, it looks like the heat was crowded here. without thinking, i started fanning myself with my hand.

「after the event few days ago. they have been having this fighting spirits. I'm really happy about this but, we can't just neglect the recontructions.
we really haven't taken some time to train」

I wonder if roel got overwhelm by the heat of their vigour? 「OK! ATTENTION!」(TL: its actually saying to "stop what you are doing for a moment" but its something military so i used "attention" i can't think of anything else than that -d-)

i wonder where that voice came from, it was a volume where it resounded at the whole training grounds. the whole intense training grounds fell silent. they stopped sparring, and then they all greeted Kirkton at the same time. Everyone did it the same time, so it kinda felt nice.

「yesterdy, we had a talk about our training. As everyone had already know, the champion of the Tougi Taikai Ryua-kun had come here to caoch us. and also you should've also heard her feat on the attack the other day」

it's somewhat a crude explanation, but still the soldier's gazes concentrated on me. this is something that i didn't felt when i was fighting during the Tougi taikai. My heart started to throb, i though i should say something but the words won't come out. just as i thought, i am really bad at this kind of thing, really i don't know what to do.

「that child will train us? certainly it was an amazing abilty but....」

i wonder why, this mood. it looks like it just Kirkton who is fired up about this. maybe even though everyone didn't agree to this and Kirkton just forcefully advanced with this. somehow the situation is dubious.

and as if everyone surrounded it, all of them took attention on it. its like the noise earlier was a lie and right now everything has fallen to silence. looking at how all of them were seriously watching, just as i thought everyone is serious in making effort. i guess it's natural.

the sound of metal of the swords hitting together and a good yell with power, it was about an even spar. something like a figthing spirit is being handed down. was it because of the instense training earlier? their sweats are being scattered around and their fatique seemed to be piling up.
after a few minutes of exchanging blows, the guy called skin won. the point of Skin's sword is pointed towards before Bull's nose.
that's right, since its just training it would be bad if you hit them.

in the state of sitting on his bottom, Bull recognized his defeat. Skin didn't become exalted, and was expressionless. Is he not happy with it?

「that was a good fight, now then Ryua-kun, how was it?」

Skin displeasantly corrected me.  even though i just mistook his name, he somewhat got really mad.

In the end, Kirkton ended up explaining everything. I wonder what this is, it feels bad. ah, that's right, its awkward. yes, this is it.

「Ok, then next! Ange and Ritta!」(9: i really wanted for Tusk died in that explosion)

「Ye-Yeshir!」

Ritta? that's right, she to is a solder so it would be obvious she would be here. I didn't notice here mixed in the crowd. Now that i look at it properly there quite a lot of women here. Compared to the men they were wearing lighter armor for easy movements.  if the sword and spear is that  thin then is looks like anyone can use it.

「What's the matter!? Hurry up!」

he was not the same kirkton as before, he spit on the ground, and was really glaring and Ritta and shouting at her. At this point Ritta look's like she is about to cry. And the hand that was holding her spear was trembling.  it's just like a new born deer, compare to her opponent called Ange, had a calm attitude and faced Ritta.

「Begin!」

Begin or not, it was not even a match, Ange's first thrust made Ritta's spear flew far away that it was refreshing to see. and furthermore Ritta in question wasn't even able to grasp the situation, The spear she was supposed to be holding was not there and was just dumbfoundedly standing there. inside the silent training ground,a laughter leaked out.

「Um, I win the match right?」

「y-yeah」

Even Kirkton was surpised, he can only nod from her claim. should i also give an advice here? what should i do, its just another thing that i don't know. I feel so bad for Ritta but, i can't think up of something.

「.......Ritta, come here」

Ritta walked before Kirkton with unsteady steps. still it was too much, so he might comfort(TL: please give me another words than this, it makes me think of something else) her. I can't advice her in anything so, in the end I noticed that Kikrton did it all but this might be fine. Kirkton is the best person who understands these people.
when it came to coercive instruction, a dry sound of a slap resounded. Ritta, having her cheek slap, she fell to the ground.

「If you are not that willing then get the hell out of here!」

「e.........」

「Did you not hear me? i said get the hell out of here!」

「w-wait a bit. Kirkton, isn't that too cruel」

Even though i entered between them, Kirkton's angry face didn't change. on the contrary, i think he didn't even hear what i said. i only looked like Kirkton was only looking at Ritta behind my back.

「Then Ryua-kun, what point should Ritta fix so that she will improve?」

I heard it from among the crowd of soldiers. I don't know who said it. however it plainly showed that some guy held malice. On that moment, Ritta threw her spear and ran towards the exit of the training grounds. Right now, I'm sure that Ritta is crying. I'm more angry at the bastard that back-bitted Ritta than Kirkton who slapped her.

Kirkton declared it business-like. i thought he was the interesting person that we spoke earlier with. So he was this kind of person. The people too who Kirkton was instructing, right now i was not thinking I just only kept watching them.

Ritta abandoning her training, she was walking alone. From the day I had enlisted, not even once did she slack off. And the result of that, she digilently alway turn up, . Commander Kirkton may got mad at her, and a part of people may make a fool of her, she still worked hard. If you work hard it will alway bear fruit, so she came to believe.
However, it was already her limit. Something inside her was broken. Diligence, that thing was just now thrown away. even if have something useless , there is nothing that can be done. after all she herself didn't have the qualities to begin with. from the start the reason she became a soldier, it was only because she admired the Master knight Tifelia. More than walking the path of an Adventurer, being a soldier in the castle defense will make her more near her.
since her motice was foolish, it was inevitable that she could not advance. after such a long time, she just had started to think low of herself.

「.......i want to run away」

having uncertain step made her not able to walk straight, like a drunk she entered into a back alley. She didn't have any particular purpose. Ritta was only lamenting in her powerlessness and shocked of it.
that time too where she, an Avangard Kingdom soldier,  couldn't even defeat one monster, she had smeared the so called brand of her country.
If her brother didn't appear, she would've certainly died. Always relying on someone so she could live.

「......I, I wonder why i became something like a soldier?」

She kicked an empty box scattered around. more than what she thought it flew quite a distance, and hit a wall far away.
