  1. 1. Meta stuff first
  2. a. Roboute starts the battle with his glove on, as PoB showed him wearing it out of combat and the context where he had it on his belt had extenuating context. While amusing as a joke, I think Mik’s character space would have been better spent else where
  3. b. I believe the fear aura is passive, given that Mik didn’t link a feat of the aura being activated while PoB actually used textual analysis
  4. c. Thing starts in rocky form, as I think Mik’s explanation of his history is sufficient for me to buy that it’s his default state
  5. d. Hulkverine starts in Hulk form, as I think Mik’s arguments about Hulk being his unconscious state were sufficient for me to believe that it’s not something that’s activated
  6. e. Mimic starts and stays in steel form. In spite of PoB pretty much beating Mik’s ass on the in character arguments for Mimic using his steel form, Mik crucially wins that his steel form is maintained before he activates and crucially makes the argument that the in character arguments don’t matter if his stips are valid, and in this case I believe they are
  7. f. I don’t find that Demogorgon’s height is a hindrance to his team, as Mik made no explicit arguments about why that would be pertinent to their width
  8. 2. In character stuff
  9. a. I don’t believe Demogorgon’s reasoning is that advanced, although I don’t know how this affects the fight besides them not coordinating with their allies nor having tactical planning
  10. b. I don’t believe PoB’s team can coordinate by talking to each other as they don’t speak they same language
  11. c. I don’t care about Mimic’s in character behavior for transforming, see above.
  12. d. PoB absolutely destroys Mik on the Hulkverine motivation stuff. Being caught lying about Hulverine’s motivation post dating PoB’s when it’s clearly a flash back means that I buy that Hulkverine is reticent to kill, and will lumber around before fighting his opponents
  13. 3. Initative
  14. a. Thing starts off by jumping vs Demogorgon
  15. b. I believe that Mimic will in character use his optic blasts and that they are reasonably fast to hit
  16. c. Hulkverine doesn’t really get initiative cause in character stuff
  17. d. I think Demogorgon’s fear aura kinda fucks up PoB’s team completely. The key point that Mik made was that Roboute and Gaara need solid feats to engage the aura. In a context where PoB outright states that Mik’s team needs to prove they can fight through Demogorgon’s aura, and then Mik provides excellent feats for Thing and Mimics’ mental resistance and ok resistance for Hulkverine, I have to apply the same standard to Roboute and Gaara. Roboute doesn’t really have a mental resistance feat provided on a level that can resist Demogorgon, and Mik’s point about Gaara hesitating is pretty apt even if I buy his mental resistance, particularly from Mimic’s optic blasts.
  18. 4. Given that Mik’s team has significant initiative with Demogorgon’s aura making this fight functionally a 3v1, and given that Mik’s team’s strength/dura feats weren’t strongly contested besides their piercing dura, I believe that Mik’s team wins.
