- Compassionate Flames
- These are two scenes, both of which dedicate themselves to uri's attempt to heal people through the infusion of his flames and the cosmic light based on dice rolls. He dreams to one day perfect this method, so that he could eventually heal multiple people at once, to support the crown in that way when times call for immediate healing and defense. Perhaps it was a long shot some days where he would utterly fail and have to result to his basic medical training skill set... While other days like with Thalis, he would get lucky, mainly due to the injury being mana focused anyway and not something like a broken bone such as what Erehn had. Uri had one goal, and that was to be the Phoenix of Osrona, even if it meant staying behind, he wanted to be the one to heal and empower everyone during times of war and conflict... He would sacrifice himself if it meant that Osrona would carry on, all thanks to the kindness of his friends, Alexander and princess Marie.
- [21:56] Erehn exclaims, "URI!"
- [21:57] Uri Sanctum asks, "Erehn?"
- [21:57] Erehn exclaims, "MY ARM IS S-STILL BROKEN! I AM CALLING FOR A QUICK FAVOR!"
- [21:57] Uri Sanctum says, "What's wrong friend------."
- [21:57] Erehn says, "Please wait a couple s-seconds."
- [21:57] Basil says, "Huh. Alright."
- [21:57] Erehn says, "Akame broke my arm."
- [21:57] Uri Sanctum says, "Let me take a look."
- [21:57] Erehn says, "Much appreciated."
- [22:02] Erehn laughed and winced in pain. "I'm glad you can understand the d-dedication unlike some people. Mainly that o-one person who thought i was in too bad of a condition."
- And suddenly it hurt a bit less.
- (Erehn)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:02] Erehn says, "Y-You're in too bad of a condition they said, look for a doctor elsewhere! What use is a m-medic that is near death they said."
- [22:04]
- {LOAD GAME}
- [22:05] Uri would go to examine the arm. He could see it was just as Erehn had explained. So he took out his first aid kit. He had a collection of tools and for this, he would first need to...Well, this is where the pain would come into place, for Uri would first feel for the area that is broken, to see just how he could mend it.
- "Sit down for me friend and close your eyes...Don't even think about what I'm about to do to you." He glides his fingetips upon Erehns skin. He was using his cosmic light to try and get a feel for the damage on a deeper level.
- "How does this feel?" He'd press on the spot near the broken area.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [22:06] *PAINED CAT NOISES*
- "THERE!"
- (Erehn)
- [22:09] "Bingo." Uri would then begin to pour his energy, not onto the wound but onto a fine wrapping as well as a piece of steel, something to keep Erehn's arm straight for the while so that Uri's mana could properly mend the broken arm.
- Piece by piece, through the medical science he practiced so heavily. He'd begin setting the bone first. The bone fragments on each side of the break have to be correctly aligned so they... Which lead to the additional steps, the mending, for the bone had to reconnect but thankfully, it was an injury that wasn't so difficult to fix, but needed to be taken care of with extra caution.
- Uri tried to infuse his cosmic and pyro energy together for the purpose of a smoother healing process... However, his dice roll landed on a 2 and he was unable to truly use and infuse this flame. So he had no choice but to revert back to his normal medical studies early on. This would result in more works for the medic, but it was a day of progress for him. He knew that you could not achieve it all."Take it easy, in a day or so, you should be fine... I suggest a soothing reed leaf, just nibble on it for a day or two. The pain will disappear pretty soon mi amigo."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [22:13] ALRIGHTY! NO MORE DOWN TIME, IT WAS TIME FOR EREHN TO DO HIS JOB ONCEMORE!
- And with that he jerked himself away from Uri and to face those who needed the local doctor's assistance.
- "WHO IS IT THAT NEEDS HELP?! I HAVE ARRIVED YET AGAIN!"
- It seemed his pained and somber tone had been absolutely shattered, removed, erased, eradicated and assblasted out of Erehn's known emotion. Not that he knew any emotion other than Somber, Happy, and Pained.
- "AND SORRY URI, THERE ARE THINGS TO BE DOOOOOOONEEEE! YOU'LL BE FINE! I'LL BE FIIIIIIIINNEEEE!"
- (Erehn)
- [22:15] Uri simply waved with laughter. Sitting down by the tree behind him for but a moment. "It's fine Erehn, seriously..." He smiles at the friend of his.. "Looking over to Uhli, "Finding the princess and we're led to a side quest it would seem."
- Uri gave the retainer a run down on all that just happened... Uri needed a minute to get back up... 1,000 energy to mend... It took so much time and effort to do so.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- This is where the scene transitions over to Thalis and his medical injury...
- 09:55] Thalis Avitus asks, "Aye, Uri... Wha's it take t' get 'ealed real quick?"
- [09:56] Uri Sanctum says, "Depends on the damage friend."
- [09:56] Uri Sanctum asks, "You got injured?"
- [09:56] Thalis Avitus says, "... Yeah. Want t' use it t' grow a bit, but need someone there t' 'elp m'."
- [09:57] Thalis Avitus says, "Ain't nothin' t' serious-- Feels temporary."
- [09:57] Uri Sanctum says, "I see... Maybe you can help me get the coin needed for an Agility X potion. Come, to the church hospital."
- [09:57] Uri Sanctum says, "Less you want to lie on a bench."
- [09:57] Thalis Avitus says, "Aye, need m' those t'-- But... Yea', church."
- [09:58] Uri Sanctum says, "Alright, let me see the damage."
- [09:59] Uri would go ahead to examine his friend Thalis. Sitting down in his chair, washing his hands in a nearby sink and tossing on some gloves. "If it isn't too bad, then the process might be quicker than normal." The young medic would have to make this gesture, for he could not touch Thalis.
- The gesture was for him to remove any clothes around the wound.

- [10:02] It's an odd air about Thalis-- Yet that's what happens with damaged pride in a young, foolish Ookami. Treading his way to the bed he'd pop up on it with a huff. His jacket's undonned, shirt soon following to reveal...
- A welt at his right shoulder. Not just any welt, of course, given the fact it seemed deeper.
- "Can't use m' magic in my right arm right now. Wha'e'er th' bard did t' m'... It 'it deep. So, wha' I want t' try 'n do is use m' lightning magic t' recharge tha' side o' m'. Issue bein', o' course, if tha'll e'en work."
- Pressing his lips into a thin line his brow began to furrow. "... Y'think it'll work? I want t' try 'n make m' circuitry stronger this way... I failed y' family."
- Promptly biting his tongue right after that he'd fall silent, hazel hues staring off at the far wall.
- (Thalis Avitus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [10:14] Uri would close his eyes for he had to channel his own cosmic energy as a guide just as he saw the priest do. This was for him to truly examine the damage and hindrance of the circuits within Thalis. He would view more of this by each minute to pass, slowly gliding his fingertips along the surface of the Avitus skin.
- "I see... While I'm unsure if we can make it stronger... We can restore it to normal and maybe... By doing that, your body will adapt to the change and create a new form of growth of in own..." From here, he would have clapped his hands together... The circuits being fried was more so of a magical medical issue than it was a true medical issue.
- So for this operation, Uri would need to utilize it. That golden flame of his that he's been practicing on. The Compassionate Phoenix Fire Aura... "Forgive me if this burns a little...I am going to infuse both my cosmic and fire energies." This was going to be a task for him, but neededfor his growth within the abilities he was trying to create.
- Upon his first attempt to forge the flames of gold... He barely made it through, succeeding but... Almost draining himself of the mana required to do it with. He was focused and that focus would be concentrated onto Thalis and the wound of his, sending this Phoenix energy into his circuits, trying to mend the energy corrupting his body with a light of his own, a light that would heal the circuits over time, maybe even make them as good as new.
- Uri Sanctum rolled a dice and it landed on: 4
- Upon his second phase. Uri would have fluked, missing a step, meaning no harm to Thalis, but a backfire upon Uri himself. The golden embers had worked against him, burning his torso and arms a bit while trying to heal Thalis... "Gek!" he grunts in pain before moving forward. "Endure...And Proceed..." He would close his eyes for this one. For Uri had to prepare himself for the final phase of the healing process...Unable to tell if it would be a success or an utter failure...
- Uri Sanctum rolled a dice and it landed on: 2
- It's finally here isn't it... The final phase... Something Uri was worried for but also very curious.. He tried his luck with the infusion once more and so... Upon his dice roll, it seemed like he would have a great success... Thalis would notice the golden shroud around Uri... His flames no longer emitting heat but a soft warmth, one that would relieve the pain from his shoulder that was damaged... Still though, URI WOULD APPLY MEDICAL AID FOR THIS TEMPORARY INJURY! As this was all a practice... "How do you feel? Is this working for you?... I need to know..." Uri had no idea how the Phoenix flames would affect his friend, but... In order to heal him, this was an attempt worth risking his own health over... For one day, he just might heal many at once, rather than a single soul at a time.
- Uri Sanctum applies first aid treatment to Thalis Avitus.
- You have reduced the duration of Thalis Avitus's Phantasmal Wound injury by 75%
- Uri Sanctum rolled a dice and it landed on: 6

- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [10:25] Hm! The glory of cosmic magic-- While he had no intentions of learning it himself... Well, it was bound to help the reparation and strengthening of the circuitry. What better way to heal a broken node than raw mana alone, right?
- "Aint' care 'bout th' burn, Uri, I've fought y' sister's flames day in 'n out." Thalis murmured, staring at the growing gold about the Sanctum. Gritting his jaw a soft crackle begins to fill the air; Electricity stemming up the rest of his form bar the right. There's a visible wince and effort made to not double over then and there.
- As raw mana began to pour into that damaged node he'd strain himself to shove his charge into it as well. It mattered little how excruciating it was-- There was a new desire there. Between the two divine wolves of his there now laid a thirst for improvement.
- To get stronger.
- Clenching his fists the Ookami could feel the actual strain of mana mixing with the electrical charge he was imparting. Uri was harmed in the process, another mark on his record for friends, but the two continued to press on.
- With the golden flame now enshrouding Uri Thalis made one last ditch effort to give that usual charge to his body. What was once a soft hum of electricity began to build into a roar; The rush of newfound mana now perfectly intertwining with the electrical charge he'd imparted on himself. Soft warmth heat brought by the Sanctum was now joined by the smell of the burning atmosphere...
- Only to be interrupted by the sudden ZAP! of a blade of lightning upon his hand. Relief washes over Thalis-- A barrier had been fixed and a step towards progress had been made!
- "... Feelin' good again. Thank y' fer this, Uri, really. 'opefully this 'elps m' begin m' next step towards strength."
- (Thalis Avitus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [10:34] ---ZIP! ZAP! The medic had felt the jolt of electricity striking his body. It was enough to stop him for a moment, but in the end, the healing had been done and Thalis, would likely recover from this before he would end up fighting someone dangerously again... As for the young Uri, his flames would continue to burn, only for a while longer before fading away.
- From gold, to orange and from orange to nothing. He was tired after all of this. Not only did it take a ton of energy to perform but it also took a ton of mana to maintain. "That was... Something else huh bud?" He would pat Thalis on the leg, the shin if anything since that was closer for him... Uri gave off a smile, and despite being tired after all of this. He could stand tall from this achievement.
- "I should be thanking you too Thalis... I'm getting only a step closer towards my goal." It was clear that Uri strived to one day become the Phoenix of Osrona… To heal and maybe even empower the people around him. To push everyone forward even if it meant staying behind. This was the meaning behind his compassionate flame, he was willing to take that very sacrifice for the purpose of Osrona growing and remaining at the top.
- "We can head back now... This entire week has been a busy one for us medics, but, I'd never deny helping a friend... So long as I am capable," Uri spoke, offering a hand to help up Thalis, so that they could regroup with the others.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [10:41] Chuckling weakly the Avitus stared down upon that humming limb of his. That shimmering, electrified blade was absolutely a step in the right direction. It hadn't created weblike burns across his skin like the day before, and with a bit of effort the blade faded back into the ether.
- A shame it left such a strange smell in the air-- Really, what the Hel does a burnt atmosphere even smell like?
- "Aye... It fuckin' was. Ain't seen a flame like tha' before." Thalis snickered, his voice soon falling off once more. Planting his hands on the bed he'd push himself up to his feet; Shirt and jacket once more donned as he continued.
- "... 'n don't thank m'. Sure, y' made a step t'wards y' goal, but yesterday I was weak. Wasn't able to 'old m' own ground 'n aid y' sister in our escape. Ain't... Know if she told y' I was there with 'er o' not, but I ain't 'fraid t' admit it.
- I failed y' then. I ain't need y' thanks-- I owe y' both 'n I'm always good on m' word." Except for yesterday, of course, where he had failed. Gritting his jaw he'd draw in a slow breath as he a sack of coins is tossed towards Uri.
- "It's wha' I got. I love coin 'n all... But y' deserve it. I'll be back with some o' if y' want some o' tha' coin-- Sparrow's callin'." Flashing a brief smile he'd give a firm nod as he began making his way out. "Thank y', Uri."
- (Thalis Avitus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [10:42] {Item} Picked up a bag of 100 dropped by Thalis Avitus.
- [10:44] Uri would accept this coin as a token of gratitude. The young medic looks at Thalis with a wave of goodbyes. "I will catch up with you another day eh? Old friend." He smiled, only to sit down for a while to rest himself. After all, that attempt took a toll on his body and mana, so he would need some time to recover...
- The Phoenix Was Hatching, Slowly, but Surely.
