Formadehyde in Cattle

    Humans are not special. Humans are just animals, and through a little random chance and evolution developed the ability to control human and non-human animals through the creation and use of technology and force.

    Non-human animals cannot speak up or fight back.

    Human animals have categorized non-human animals as "friend" or "food." In North America, human animals befriend cats and dogs, while they feast on cows and chickens. Friend and food animals are not given a choice. The cow is no less deserving of a safe comfortable home than a cat, and yet human animals imprison, rape, impregnate, and then neglect their non-human earthlings with impunity. In the name of preserving an aesthetic breed (racism), or in the name of a tasty meal.

    While friend-animals get the best medical care for those who can afford it,  cows are food-animals and their comfort is unimportant. In Vermont, cow food-animals are given formaldehyde foot baths to prevent and treat hairy foot wart, an illness borne from efforts to maximize profits by forcing cow food-animals to be confined in their own excrement with little sunshine and crowded conditions. Unused formaldehyde is (legally) a toxic substance and its handling is guidelined by the VT Agency of Agriculture. Once formaldehyde is used, it becomes formaldehyde contaminated with illness-causing toxins, but is considered "non hazardous," and no longer governed by this guidance. This super-toxic formaldehyde is dumped unscrupulously, leeching into ground, water, and air: poisoning human and non-human animals alike.

    The voiceless are being poisoned in the name of profits. Those with a voice are slowly losing theirs to profitable poisoning. This will not be tolerated.
