basically, it's going to be just barely post-apocolyptic...where it's been about a month since a massive disaster has rocked a heavily populated area, and you start out in an outlying encampment, and it'll full of rampant disease and poverty.
and there's no infrastructure for electricity or water or food and stuff.
and most everyone's heads are shaved because of the decontamination process.
and there are govt official walking around enforcing order, all in biohazard suits with guns and flashlights and geigercounters.
and the story follows one guy who you first see buying something in the shadows of a burnt out and trashed building.
and he hops on his bike and he rides into the dead zone where there's too much radiation for sustainable life...not at all unlike chernobyl.
and as he's riding through the wooded area he sees glimpses of strange mutated plant life, and trees that are budding with red and brown leaves.
and he sees an anonymous guard all decked out in SUPER heavy duty protective gear.
and the guard sees him, and he's about to radio in, but the guard walks over to grab him, and his geigercounter starts going crazy.
and the guy is already so contaminated...they share a look...and the guard takes his button off the walkie talkie and turns away.
and the main guy goes into the rubble of the city, and climbs into a hellhole of an abandoned building.
only for him to walk up the crumbling stairs to find the room at the top...and he opens the door, and there's his pregnant wife with all her hair, and her face all scarred from intense burns.
and he gets the stuff he's bought on the black market...batteries, bottled water, etc etc.
and they have all their pictures on the wall, and it's a soft, calm scene in the middle of the total eruption of nuclear war.
and the camera pulls out to see the roof of the room totally gone, and they're just exposed, standing next to an empty crib in the middle of a wartorn hellscape
just standing there.
