  1. The Fief of Dragon Lord Gaurdalaun -
  2. Dragons were among the hordes of monsters that drove civilization to the brink, they were also one of the later victims. For the most part dragons kept to themselves, some however joined the hordes to fight against civilization. Retaliation against their kind in the early conquests as well as the later savage monster turning on them led dragons to the same level of near extinction that the humanoid races were driven to. Dragon are however incredibly strong even against hordes of monsters and their lairs are dotted across the wilderness and ruins of the world. A young Dragon by the name of Gaurdalaun, weak for his age was taken in by a mage who worked for the fallen Empire of Fandurn nearly three decades after the fall of Elanduin. At this time the Kingdom still “ruled” over the Kingdom of Balros to the East, Gaurdalaun’s Mentor, the Wizard would later die during the revolution there. Gaurdalaun would flee from the combat and take up residence in the monster infested mountain province of Feldun were he would fight for supremacy for the next century. When a wave of monsters attacked the remaining Feldun provinces, the Kings soldiers would withdraw leaving the once thriving port city to burn. Gauralaun would come to its aid days later pushing back the hordes and announcing himself sovereign over the province. Over the last few decades he has been pushing to invade the last remnants of the Empire of Fandurn and is using monsters subjugated in the northern forest to mount his attacks.

  4. The Kingdom of Fandurn -
  5. The Last remnant of the Empire of FanDurn, a once large and prosperous Monarchy. They claimed dominion over two large and fertile river valleys and their Mountains of origin. To their west the Blood Forest, a land of ferocious monster that adventurers harvested for its wealth and used it inhabitants to grow more powerful. When the Monsters grew rampant the Empire was one of the first hit, lasting for centuries some say a millenia in an eternal struggle with the beasts and the rest of the world civilizations crumbled. They were however not impervious, they lost the mountains to the east, retaining the valleys beneath them with large fortresses built into the mountain side. The would lose the larger of two river valley just over a century ago, and nearly three decades ago the lost their Northern province of Feldun, though many considered it lost long before that as it was a reclaimed piece of the empire. Now the elderly King was beset to the north with a greedy dragon and a horde of monsters, to the south his ambitious heirs fought over land they refused to share...

  13. The Last/Lost Road - A stretch of Road between the Kingdom and the Guardians, pieces of the road run right alongside the forest and it lays largely abandoned by for a splintered dirt path leading to an old inn and farmhouse. Quite a booming business as adventurers looking access to some of the not so aggressive parts of the green to grow stronger in like the security it provides.

  15. The Guardians of Elanduin, the River Goddess -
  16. The elves had originally saw the hordes pushing the humans out and allowing nature to reclaim land as a boon. The hordes however didn’t turn a blind eye to the elves and even they we driven from their forests the fought like madmen to protect their forest homes, eventually they lost to the tide of monsters. Here in the north they were all but gone when a small pocket of them took up residence in the upper Elanduin river valley. They worked together with the human empire to drive the monsters back even losing their new found home. When the empire fell the monsters controlled everything but the mouth of the Elanduin River, the humans fled west to the surviving lords of Humanity while the Elves sought to keep their new home. The war they fought isn’t really unknown among the humans of the west however the Elves are one of the few progressing back into the monster infested forest, burning it down in favor of their new river home.

  18. The Three Cities of Balros -
  19. Baltros (Central) - The Large Capital of the region and the owner of the only military, mostly protecting its own borders, tentative trade routes are being made to Bullos in hopes of unifying the state again. This is however troubled by the lack of food, the death of the recent head of state and a large scale invasion in the south.
  20.
  21. Belfros (Western) - Still in control of its Mountain forests it is the least vulnerable of the Cities, while also the smallest it is working together with the freed goblins of Bulgrub to create a militia. This, as stated by the ruling Family is a temporary solution while they create their own Military
  22.
  23. Bullos (Eastern) - The most vulnerable of the Cities, when the Mountain forts were lost the were the quickest to become overwhelmed. Now depopulated and regularly beset by invaders, the high walls of Bullos and the busling industry and trade inside stand in stark contrast to the decimated countryside

  25. The Tribe of Bulgrub -
  26. A tribe of “civilized” freed goblin slaves, they claim dominion of the Forest of Bulgrub
