More thoughts for when I come back from my break...

I might not care about DKC3 after all.  Especially 103%.... it's just so long... And now that v0oid's all but guaranteed himself the 306% WR, I don't really feel like learning the category very well.

I AM however, really feeling like I miss DKC2. When I see that namux has pulled within 2 minutes of my any% time, it kind of makes me want to go back to that category.  I can't have a friend who I got started speed running the game beat me that easily, can I?!?!?!  So I think everything else might stay the same as from my last post (Diablo II on the weekend, Mega Man runs, some Let's Play* stuff), but I may just resume DKC2. Because I LOVE IT.


Also... I'm considering submitting 102% to SGDQ.  I doubt they would choose it as it was just in AGDQ, but it's still the only game/category that I'll ever be good enough to play in one of those events. Plus, by submitting it, I give the committee the opportunity to have a DKC Trilogy 306% block.  Which would be AWESOME. Big downside there, though, is that if I got into SGDQ my wife would probably kill me (since we'll have a brand new baby...) and I probably wouldn't be able to do the run anyway.


*Let's Play: First either Zelda 1 or Mega Man Unlimited (then the other). StarTropics shortly thereafter, then Zelda II.  Eventually I'd like to get to blind Let's Plays of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess - neither of which I've played.
