  1. It breaks my heart that people get on here and vent about a single bad experience... and others jump on the bandwagon and pledge to ban it. Especially new establishments and new ownerships of restaurants.
  2.
  3. Think about it for a second... pretend that you are inviting the world over to your house for dinner.
  4.
  5. "Hey, we are open! Come eat!"
  6.
  7. And it is your wallet and heart that wants them there.
  8.
  9. How many people are coming?
  10.
  11. No one knows. Best guess for anyone.
  12.
  13. All you can do is literally guess.. and hope for the best. It takes a while to be able to offer the best of anything in this situation.
  14.
  15. I've opened many restaurants.. always a rough start.. you never know how it will go for sure.
  16.
  17. For example, Loveland Buffalo Wild Wings. Upon opening...we ordered $80,000 worth of too many wings. Luckily I had my eye on it and I was able to spread the product out to other corporate locations so those chickens didn't die for no reason.
  18.
  19. We guess on how many people we think will come. No one RSVPs.
  20.
  21. And thats just food.. then there is staffing. Are you good at your job on your first day? Or 10th day? Especially when you are likely 16, have 2 hour shifts, and no life experiences? And you have a zit and your boyfriend dumped you?
  22.
  23. Seriously people, give it some time before you play the critic and chop people and establishments down.
  24.
  25. Betcha your Thanksgiving dinner that you served with love to your family was an hour late and dry as hell. But you did your best and they liked it (and you also had the gift of knowing how many were coming)
  26.
  27. Anyone who shows up to a restaurant in the first month or 4 expecting perfection is an ignorant fool.
  28.
  29. Unfortunately when people have a bad day they get on here or other social media and try to make worse for everyone and spread it.
  30.
  31. It's too bad that we, when in happiness, can't take the same time to give a brief kudos to someone, or a business, who did it right.
  32.
  33. Post something that brings you joy, before posting something that makes you an asshole.
