Terra Crit Lvl1 Dashes/Curaga Route

  1. Thanks to SonicShadowSilver2 and iamGrig who helped with this route and thanks to Sonic for letting me use his notes as a base for these with his permission.

  3. ** If you see this in the notes I am highlighting an alternative strat which may be easier to execute or am explaining a certain detail in the notes. You can choose to read or disregard these or any reason.

  6. 1. Orbs- 2 hits in the air or any finisher will (typically) send orbs flying. Use that and quick blitz to knock them into each other as much as possible. Use full shotlock on 2nd wave.
  7. 2. World Map
  8. 3. - Menu: Turn on Zero EXP and change camera if you want to for preference.
  9. 4.
  10. 5. Enchanted Dominion
  11. 6. - Use Ven D-Link until you get LV1, then try to get Aqua's D-Link to LV1.
  12. 7. - Get the Potion chest near the entrance to the next room and get the Blizzard chest to the left in the next room
  13. 8. - Get the Zero Gravity chest to the right and get the Ether chest right next to the stairs in Audience Chamber
  14. 9. - Get the Ether chest next to the 3 Floods in the next room, then go to Aurora's Chamber
  15. 10. - Go to the room behind you and get the Sleep chest, then go fight Wheel Master
  16. 11. – Hold forward at the start of the fight as you enter Ventus D-Link, this should give you the pattern where he swings his arms at you. Be aware of hp barrier at 8/10ths of his last bar and run when it gets there. After he flashes in darkness dive close to where he is charging, hopefully he will hit you which will cancel his charge and do the swinging attack again. If he runs around you he'll do the jumping attack instead which is slower but you can still deal with. Remember that Ven's finisher gives you I-Frames.

  18. 13. Dwarf Woodlands
  19. 14. - Get Flame Salvo in Vault with Sonic Shadow movement, then get the Fission Firaga chest, head towards forced fight
  20. 17. - Menu Before Forced Fight: Fission -> quick blitz
  21. 18. Blizzard -> Empty
  22. 19. Zero Gravity -> Empty
  23. 21. Sleep -> Empty
  24. 22. - Use Aqua D-Link magnet spam in forced fight. If you haven't gotten Aqua's D-Link level to LV1 entering this fight use Aqua D-Link, hit floods around, and pray
  25. If you DID NOT get Aqua D-Link LV2 after the forced fight buy a poison from the moogle
  26. Equip poison->sliding dash if you have to
  27. 23. - Use Sonic Shadow movement in Vault,
  28. 25. Go fight Magic Mirror (can grab ether right below flame slavo chest if munny is very low (40-50 before forced fight typically) but this is just for safety and should be unnecessary)
  29. 26. - If Aqua's D-Link is not LV2, dash to Mirror, hit him once + Poison, hit him once or twice and cast blizzard/fission/poison, repeat pattern for rest of fight, use shotlocks when does one of the two moves flying towards you
  30. 27. - If he does the hallway, then attack the one that is smiling. If he moves from left to right, then shotlock him
  31. 28. - If he does the circle attack, then use Blizzard to shoot the one that's smiling once he stops or slide past the orbs
  32. 29. - If Aqua's D-Link is LV2, dash to him, hit him twice+fission then enter Aqua D-Link
  33. - Technical Strat: use all commands except for mine square, cura until he's knocked down, when done hit him with fire strike and blizzard. When he does the attack where he flies strat into the air and charges at you set up a mine square, position yourself right behind it and use the finisher close to when he is going to charge you. It is a very tight timing window but if done right mirror will instantly die. If he doesn't then wail on him until he does.   35. 30. ****Use all commands except for Mine Square, Fire Strike, and Cura by mashing Triangle, then use Magic Volley after Magnera
  36. 31. - If he moves from left to right or dives at you, set a Mine Square down, move back, then Magic Volley again
  37. 32. - If he does the circle attack, try to shoot the one that's smiling with Blizzara or slide past the orbs

  39. 34. - Go back to Courtyard and enter the shop
  40. 35. - Moogle Shop: Sell: Everything except Stun Edge and Zero Gravity
  41. 36. Buy: Fire x2, Cure x1, Thunder x2, Magnet x2, and Bind x2 (1090 Munny needed)
  42. 37. - Menu:

  53. 47. - Use Aqua D-Link in forced fight
  54. 48. - Get the Slow chest on the right and get the Pulsing Crystal chest near the stairs in the next room
  55. 49. - Enter Cinderella Escort
  56. 50. - Spam Magnet + Thunder and maybe Finisher on everything
  57. 51. - Make sure you kill the Bruisers at the beginning of the 2nd part to ensure the 2 Magnets reach LV2
  58. 52. - After killing the 2 Shoegazers on the right side of the stairs, go to the left side and kill a Bruiser with Finish + 2 hits
  59. 53. - Let Cinderella go to the end of the escort by herself, spawn Shoegazers behind her, then finish the Escort
  60. 54. - Get the Soothing Crystal chest to the left, get the Thunder chest in the Antechamber, then go fight Symphony Master
  61. 55. ***Consistent Strat: Use Ven D-Link
  62. - Less consistent 3-5 second faster strat: Use Aqua D-Link (must be level 2), at start of fight thunder, mine square, finisher. Then mag between his darkness rages and thunder, mine square (when available), and finisher until fight ends
  63. (Note: which once you use is really up to your choice, I actually find the Aqua strat more consistently personally but I listed them generally for what would be easier to learn)

  65. 57. - Get the Cure chest on the right, then Menu
  66. Meld:
  67. Magnet+Zero Gravity+Fleeting (if you have it)= Thundara (Attack Haste), Thunder+Cure= Cura, Magnet+ Thunder+ Soothing Crystal= Magnera (HP Boost)

  85. 74. - Magnera + Thundara/Thunder spam on 1st two waves (can use Aqua), then enter Aqua D-Link right before 3rd wave spawns. Use finisher on 4th wave (hopefully level 2) and don’t use magnet until last wave spawns.
  86. -After 2 cutscenes turn around and shop at the Moogle:

  88. 75. - Get the Thunder Surge and Fleeting Crystal chests in Fountain Court and kill 4 Blue Sea Salts with it. Kill as many more fountain waves as it takes to level up fire and bind to level 3
  89. 76. - Menu: Meld
  90. 77. Fire + Bind = Ignite
  91. Fire + Bind = Ignite

  102. 85. - Get the Esuna and Blackout chests, use fire dash (and sliding dash) around area for movement, then enter Trinity Armor
  103. 86. - Use Fire Dashes + Thundara + Magnera at the beginning to enter Firestorm, Fire Dash into legs then Dash away towards where you started the fight, lock onto the legs, and jump thunder surge when he charges at you
  104. 87. - guard when he charges and Thundara, then dash from his second charge and aim Firestorm finisher to where you're between the legs and body (use a Magnera if the finisher isn't ready)
  105. 88. - Be careful not to use Thunder Surge until you have entered Firestorm!
  106. 89. - Use Magic Commands from under Trinity Armor after breaking both parts during the big laser attack (use thunder surge & normal attacks at your own risk)
  107. 90. - Use Firestorm finisher right when he shoots fireballs after the big laser attack to finish him off
  108.  
  109. On way back kill wave of unversed right before stair with magnet, jump, attack, thunder (yes it matters)
  110. 93. -Exit castle town, fire dash and sliding dash off unversed
  111. 94. - Get the Fira chest to the left in Outer Gardens, then go fight Braig
  112. 95. * Only get the Pulsing Crystal chest to the right if you did not get 2 pulsing drops (can skip if you're comfortable without leaf bracer)
  113. 96. - Use Ignite when Braig teleports once after he's out of Sniper Mode
  114. 97. - If he goes into the air, then time your Ignites accordingly while deflecting his bullets back at him
  115. 98. - After he shoots on the ground once, deflect his bullets back at him, then Ignite + Thunder Surge while he charges up
  116. 99. - After both his ground and aerial pattern, jump and use Ignite as he tries to shoot at you while running in a circle (jump timing should be when he teleports right before his circle attack)

  119. 102. - Menu: Magnet-> Empty Slot
  120. Shortcut Magnera (if you want, depends on how you lay your deck out)
  121. ***If you used Magnet in Trinity Fight then insert Fire Dash into empty slot

  125. 117. - Spam Magnera + Jump + Attack + Thundara in Aqua D-Link in forced fight
  126. ***If you don't jump and attack flame salvo will likely not be level 4 for Zack and the strat will not work***
  127. 119. - Talk to Hades to enter 10 Rounds
  128. 120. - Round 1-9: spam Magnera + Thundara + Finish, Revert at the end of Round 6 O
  129. 122. - Round 10: Dash to the right and mash out magnet/magnera, then spam magnet/thunder until they're all dead

  131. -Menu before Zack:
  132. Meld- Magnet+Stun Edge+ Fleeting= Magnera (Attack Haste)
  133. Put Magnera in deck, replace Fire Dashs with Curas
  134. Equip Sonic Impact
  135. 123. - Talk to Hades to fight Zack

  137. 124. – Phase 1: ignite, 6-8 shotlock twice. Then hit twice, ignite twice. hit twice to go into firestorm and fire dash. Then space out commands (using ignite whenever you can) to stop him from retaliating. If you space them out too far apart he will retaliate, if you're too aggressive he can retaliate and kill you. Always use ignite whenever they are off cooldown, try to use firestorm finisher to end the fight.
  138. *****ignite, 6-8 shotlock twice. Wait for his retaliation after. Then stun lock him with ignite, fire dash, 2 hits, ignite, 2 hits, ignite/thundara spam until finisher- IF HE JUMPS AWAY AND YOU WHIFF THE ATTACK *RUN* BEFORE HE RETALIATES. Should see him stagger (flinch backwards) while attempting to jump for loop to work. Use firestorm finisher and repeat loop.
  139. 125. – ***Phase 2 Safe/Slow Strat: Strat A: fully use Flame Salvo in the beginning of 2nd phase, then use Ventus D-Link to loop him in a corner
  140. 126. Immediately dash back after Finisher, then prepare to use Flame Salvo just in case he breaks out with Hero's Pride
  141. 127. - Fast/Cool Strat: Fully use Flame Salvo in the beginning, 1 hit & Ignite, dodge counter, 2 hits & Ignite, shotlock during Hero's Pride,
  142. 128. 2 hits, Ignite, dodge counter, 2 hits & Ignite, shotlock during Hero's Pride, Gold Rush & Ignite, repeat until near dead
  143. 129. When he's about to die when you use another Ignite, finish him off with thundara into gold rush! Sometimes gold rush on its own will kill but it is not always reliable!!!

  145. Deep Space
  146. - Spam Attack on the Jellyshade Ambush
  147. - Magnera + Thundara spam while entering and leaving Aqua D-Link between waves dying in forced fight (i.e. Aqua D-Link first wave, revert, kill next wave, D-Link, revert, kill last wave)
  148. - Get the Wellspring Crystal chest in the upper-right corner in Launch Deck if you did not get a drop (avoid the center of the room while doing this so enemies don't spawn too early)
  149. - Get up against the left wall, enter Cinderella's D-Link, jump and lock-on, then use Enchanted Step in mid-air.
  150. - Drop down to your right in next room to get the Fleeting Crystal chest
  151. Go fight Experiment 221
  152. - Dodge the first attack, then use Ignite. Guard the electric orbs back at him while using Ignite, fire 6-8 shotlocks between ignites
  153. - When he enters the guns, either run around the room or guard the bullets until he leaves the guns
  154. - Use Flame Salvo to finish him off
  155. 130. Gunless is possible but very rare and very rng heavy.

  157. 131. Neverland
  158. 132. - Magnera + Thundara first wave, 2nd Magnera, Aqua D-Link, Mag, Mine Square, Thunder, use Aqua finisher. Go in middle of Bruisers and use Mag+Thunder then revert and spam Ignite and rest of commands on the last 3 Wild Bruisers
  159. 133. - Moogle Shop: Sell: Fira, Blackout, Ignite x1 and extra commands (Pay attention to what you have!)
  160. 134. Buy: If you have 2300 Munny or more buy Thunder Surge x3, Block
  161.  
  162. (if by some crazy chance you don't have enough munny just go to the room across from the moogle, use Cindy-Dlink, jump on the trampoline and enchanted step the totem pole. You'll get a thundaga to sell. But remember to refill D-Link on the way to the Pan fight)

  164. 138. – Pan: Thunder Surge at start, ignite, then enter Ven D-Link. Attack him into the corner and mash until death. Adjust position to keep Terra's body in front of him at all times.
  165. 139. - Leave the room and re-enter
  166. 140. - Dash forward, then spam Magneras both in and outside of Aqua D-Link for Jellyshade Swarm II

  168. 141. World Map
  169. Menu: Meld:
  170. Thundara + Fire Dash + Pulsing Crystal = Thunder Surge (Leaf Bracer)
  171. Fire Dash + Ignite + Fleeting Crystal = Fire Surge (Attack Haste)
  172. Magnera + Magnera + Wellspring Crystal = Magnega (Once More)
  173. Cura + Cura + Pulsing Crystal = Curaga (Second Chance)
  174. Block (Lvl1) + Esuna + Fleeting Crystal = Renewal Block (Attack Haste)

  184. 155. - Spam Surges and guard his attacks right after he counters (do this immediately after each counter to try to stay above 1 hp.)
  185. 156. - If you have at least 1 HP Boost, all of his counters will not send you to 1 HP
  186. 157. - How much HP you restore with Renewal Block depends on what attack he uses, so pay attention!
  187. - After a bit he will stand still and try to run away, punish this with thunder surges or he will shotlock/dm! Cure beforehand if you are at 1 hp! Attempt to punish at 1 hp at your own risk (I don’t recommend it)
  188. 158. - Use Flame Salvo when he uses his DMs and use Ethers if you need to along with Cure
  189. 159.
  190. 160. Keyblade Graveyard
  191. 163. - Enter Final Battles
  192. 164. - Vanitas & Master Xehanort
  193. 165. - Dash forward and to the left at start of fight to make Xehanort teleport away. Enter Peter Pan D-Link, and hit Vanitas with aerial hits until the gauge is full
  194. 166. - Partially use Flame Salvo (6-8) until Vanitas lights up and yells, then use Swordbill when he jumps up in the air (or force him to come back up and hit him midair if you get there late).
  195. To use Swordbill just press the Action button, release it, then press and hold once Terra's arm has moved backwards.
  196.  
  197. 168. - Master Xehanort
  198. 169. – Dive forward and spam surges. Then hit him twice/three times and use Bladecharge/Thunderstorm finisher. If you get
  199. 170. –If he breaks out dodge whatever attack he does and try to get him back in the loop with a surge.
  200. 171. –If you get hit by his combo dodge away before you heal as he likes to follow one combo up with another
  201. 172. - If you end up getting hit by his combo attack when his HP is low, wait until he grabs you, then mash X
  202. 173.
  203. – Terranort
  204. 174. -Use Surges on Terranort when he uses Ars Solum and deflect Dark Volley until he has around 3.75 bars of HP left
  205. 175. - When he has under 3.75 bars of HP left, he will enter 2nd phase
  206. 176. - When he uses the full version of Dark Volley, dash up next to him, sit there, and deflect the last part of Dark Volley
  207. 177. - After deflecting the last part of Dark Volley, you want to try to dash up and use Thunder Surge to punish him
  208. 178. Use Thunder Surge as he DMs. When he DM’s either 1. Get a full shotlock off or 2. Go into a corner of the arena and block the meteors (Beware of Lingering Hit boxes!).
  209. 179. Also be aware that during his DM meteors will come up from underneath the ground and can hit you in the process. As long as you are dashing you’re usually fine.
  210. 180. IF he calls down a single meteor just dodge as far away as possible
  211. 181. When he shoots a giant ball, shotlock through it at 6-8. He will usefully blink around and Ars Solum afterwards so the shorter shotlock gives you time to attempt to punish it
  212. 182. This fight can and will kill you at random for any reason it wants.
  213. 183. Pray.
