  1. Naomi grinned in a way that only a young child who discovered that they got exactly what they wanted for Christmas could.
  2.
  3. “This is gonna be awesome!”
  4.
  5. Spencer was not so impressed. He looked at the building in front of him, a neon sign in the window proclaiming that it was open, another on the wall simply stating “Joe’s Tatts and Piercings”.
  6.
  7. “Yeah. ‘Cause this place looks like somewhere you’d get quality service.”
  8. Not even Spencer’s usual annoying attitude would get to her today. The Firebender just kept up her grin.
  9.
  10. “It’s going to look cool.”
  11.
  12. “It’s gonna looks stupid.”
  13.
  14. “Whatever.”
  15.
  16. Naomi just walked into the tattoo parlor, Spencer reluctantly following behind. Inside, it didn’t actually look that bad. Kind of like the waiting area of a doctor’s office. There were some chairs, a small couch, and a table holding informational pamphlets. It was actually kind of surprising. Not all stereotypes were true, it seemed.
  17.
  18. A large, bald man sat behind a counter at the other side of the room, writing on some papers. Seeing the two come in, he looked up.
  19.
  20. “You here for a session?”
  21.
  22. Naomi nodded, still smiling. “Yep.” Spencer just sighed, still not believing she was going to do this.
  23. The man nodded, beckoning the Firebender towards the counter. She had to do some paperwork, then they discussed what she would be getting. Spencer didn’t pay attention, really, just sitting on the couch and waiting. Eventually, out of curiosity, he picked up a pamphlet, flipping to a random page. He dropped it immediately, having rather unfortunately fallen on a page about piercings on the… lower extremities. Gross.
  24. He noticed that Naomi and the man had finished, and she was being led into another room. She gave another grin and a thumbs-up to the mage, but received only an eye-roll in response.
  25.
  26. Spencer leaned back on the couch. He didn’t know much about this kind of thing, but he knew it could take a while. After about a half an hour of waiting, he just gave up and decided to take a nap.
  27.
  28. Some time later, Spencer was awoken by a rough shaking. Luckily, he was used to this treatment by now.
  29.
  30. “Good to thee you’re awake.”
  31.
  32. Spencer looked up at the person who had so rudely awoken him, and groaned.
  33.
  34. Naomi was now adorned with several different piercings. One in her right ear, and another in her eyebrow.
  35.
  36. “Ithn’t thith tho cool?” She asked.
  37.
  38. Spencer palmed his face. “I can’t believe you went through with this. Wait, what’s with the lisp- you didn’t.”
  39.
  40. Naomi stuck out her tongue, smiling widely, and revealing /another/ piercing in her tongue.
  41. “And that’th not even the betht part!”
  42.
  43. She unwrapped the bandages that usually surrounded her arms and hands, revealing a long tattoo in the shape of an Eastern-styled dragon, which wrapped all the way around her arms. The tail began on her left arm at the wrist, and ended at the head on her right. Worse (or better, from Naomi’s point of view) the way the tatt wrapped around her arms implied that…
  44.
  45. She lifted up her shirt somewhat (revealing yet another piercing in her navel), showing that the dragon went down her back, wrapped around her stomach once, and then went back up her other arm.
  46.
  47. “Thee? It’th thuppothed to be like my lightning. Ithn’t that awethome?!”
  48.
  49. Spencer groaned. “Yeah, stellar.”
  50.
  51. The man, who had been silent up until now, addressed Naomi. “Be careful with your tongue. There’s going to be some swelling, and it’s going to have to heal for a couple of weeks. The ink on your tattoo will take some time to dry as well, so just try not to do too much for a while. Take some time to heal.”
  52.
  53. She nodded, although Spencer doubted she was actually paying attention.
  54.
  55. “Yeah, this is all very nice. Can we go now?”
  56.
  57. The Firebender grinned again, although the smile had a bit of evil in it.”
  58.
  59. “Nope! Now it’th your turn!”
  60.
  61. “What.”
