- Both sets I played I went 2-1. That's common for me, but the thing that gets me is that the 1st game I dominated for both of them. Then the 2nd came about and it was close and up to last hit. Last game I dominated, then on the last stock I'd be up by a lot of % but I couldn't close it out. On the 1st game he went ZSS I went Toon Link and Final Destination, Toon Link's best stage. He was at 140% I was at 11%! I spaced him the entire time then I just kinda stopped and blanked. He got in for a few grabs and racked up a lot. Then he does his Down B into me which spiked me into the ground. He Up Bs me at 89% in the left center of the stage and it kills me off the top, even though I DI'd correctly. 2nd game I nearly 0 to deathed the guy on the 1st stock and won handily, then on the 2nd game again it was me dominating and choked it away last second. 3rd was the same deal. I started feeling lots of nerves though towards the end of it. I was up on him but once again got him to 130% and he got an Up Smash on me with Luigi just barely on FD again when he was in kill range for a solid minute. I wanted to throw my controller. I never feel this way usually about games, but when you practice for a few days before and just absolutely choke everything for no good reason after playing really well on the 1st game TWICE I can't help but be mad at myself. I'm not so mad I'm going to quit the game. If anything it just gives me more determination to do better. The feeling of being held back is the worst and nerves of all kind need to just die in a hole somewhere. If anyone has any tips to get over nerves of any kind it would be highly appreciated
