background ; Jaeeun was born in Seoul, South Korea, 3 years after her brother was born. Jaeeun had been dancing and singing since a young age, it also seems like musical talent runs in the family. She's the younger sister of NCT's Jaehyun. At a young age, Jaeeun had always loved to perform on stages but had never had the thought of being an idol, not thay she didn't want to. So when she was dragged to watch SNSD's concert by her friend,  she immediately fell in love with the whole thing and was inspired to be an idol. A few months later, her brother became a trainee which made her work harder to be one too. A year later, she was scouted by Starship and she became a trianee then.
