- 6/15: This evening brought a newcomer. She wishes to join us, and her
- magic is strong. Powers be praised, she has already worked a miracle, only
- hours into her life here. Oayaa, as she calls herself, says she is a
- soothsayer. While touring the grounds, she found the sarcophagus, and spent
- time examining and admiring it. After nearly half an hour, she pulled me
- aside, and said that if we took some of the relics held within the wooden
- chest in the Great Hall, and put them within the statues at the base of the
- sarcophagus, a transformation would occur. She spent nearly an hour in the
- details; I do not know what to make of it. She went on: apparently, if we
- were to take all three of the bleached white skulls, and place one in the
- sarcopagus, and the other two in the statues at its base, they would
- transform. She was very excited, not only about her new surroundings, but
- what she claimed was likely an important vision. I hesitated to do such a
- thing for a newcomer, who might very well be an agent of the Dark Power or
- others. I shall sleep on the matter, perhaps if it is a good night, we
- shall seem what tomorrow brings.
- 6/16: Today, Aotoia, Caiaya and Praeiya gathered the small white skulls
- of Yezvhma the Saintly, Chief Yee, and Jemxas the Slaughterer to test the
- claims that Oayaa made last night. We dropped the skulls inside, and closed
- the lid. Something happened, we don't know or remember what. When I
- regained consciousness, i shook the others awake, and looked inside the lid.
- The skulls were gone, replaced by one massive skull, glowing brightly in the
- dark! We do not know where it came from, or what it is, but it is very
- holy. It is the skull of a humanoid, and when Caiaya detected its holiness,
- she was amazed. Its sheer goodness is far greater and more impressive than
- any of the artifacts we have ever had before! Not only is the sarcophagus'
- newfound power amazing, but we have Oayaa as well. I sense good things
- ahead.
