Test

"Alright, you divine jackass," snarled Ariadne as she kicked God Himself in the chest. Her companions, Job and Lucius, looked at each other nervously as God strained against the magnum shackles holding him prisoner. "What's the big idea with our universe? Why do good people die? Why do assholes get all the money?" God laughed at her, though the movement made his cuts bleed again.

"This is my test environment. I have three universes that are superior to yours in every possible way. And whenever I need to add a new feature in one of those, I test it out here to make sure that it's free of sin." He grinned as the three looked on in disgust. "Is that what you wanted to hear? You're living in my cast-offs. You're expendable. You're welcome." His chuckle was cut short by Ariadne kicking him in the face, leaving a yellow bruise on his divine face. And then kicked him again. And again. Eventually, Job had to pull her off before she beat him unconscious.

"Why," she said. "Why do you do this to us?"

"The other three...they also had trees...of good and evil. All...left alone. All the other Adams...succeeded. So congrats. You drew...the short straw." At that, he passed out.
