  3. Character: Haruno, Keito
  4. What you are applying for: Slug Summon Contract (Not Sage Mode)
  5.
  6. What you will do: Having been exposed to the idea of summoning contracts through Hiyori's own, as well as the great spider that was killed off, it leads into the idea that acquiring her own greater summon was within her capabilities. It would signify a bit more initiative on her part to take an interest in a subject like this and learn it on her own. As for actual use it be used to even up the odds of unfair battles, ones she is unlikely to survive. A greater creature of her own to fight with her, after having seen Kaoru's chakra beast rampage in action, she would not want to be caught alone in the receiving end of an attack.
  7.
  8. Why you want it: To show interest towards the development of Slug Sage Mode. My usage of it will be limited, but it would add a grand reveal sort of sense the moment it's demonstrated in RP in a desperate bid for survival. I've been doing my best to push roleplay at the forefront of my experience, and would like to press it further with this ability.
  9.
  10. As for how the actual concept of sage mode will be developed into, that'll be discovered later.
  11.
  12. <RP sample>: Keito was experienced with traveling outside of Konoha, both for missions, training, and other such. She's gone across the mountains north, through the forests, across the waters south. She was out searching for a summon...not just any old regular summon, but just a bit more.
  13.
  14. She had known these types of things existed ever since the Mission where they encountered the building sized spider...it could speak, not only that, but it was within some sort of contract with the Rogue Ninja that had caused the incident. This prompted the idea in her head that it was entirely possible for a Ninja to seek out greater beasts and reason with them a mutual obligation of sorts.
  15.
  16. Though it's presumptuous to expect things to be easy.
  17.
  18. She had finished most of her studying and training, so it was a simple task to take time out of her day to search the lands for something. Yet every day that she went by, there was still nothing noteworthy...It could be a result of her not knowing all of the more secretive locations in the land, yet how many places could one even hide a larger sized being? It must have been shrouded deep within a far more dense forest than the Medic had realized.
  19.
  20. Weeks, even months had gone by with her sporadic attempts to finding a location she nor anyone else had truly visited, finding life that could not be found elsewhere. It was within a place a bit more akin to a swamp, yet there didn't appear to be much of any life within...She used Suimen to hasten the travel through, a place like this could easily be another empty location like so many others.
  21.
  22. She landed on a patch of water, but something wasn't quite right, her footing was suddenly loose as a massive slimey creature swept the Miko in red up into the air, towering over the trees- it was absolutely massive, and of course, she was rightfully scared at first, leaping from it's head. The last thing she wanted was to end up getting attacked by one of these things.
  23.
  24. ...A Slug? Well, it certainly was cuter than she first expected, although if a spider could be deadly at it's size, it too was nothing to look down on.
  25.
  26. It wasn't innately hostile, holding no obligation to bring her harm, and she would like to keep things that way, avoiding stirring up any more trouble than she's worth. It was hard to hide it on her face, but she was amazed that she had even found something, even if by the end of this, nothing changed.
  27.
  28. ...
  29.
  30. Keito freely speaks with the creature, she brings into light the current predicament faced. War between two nations, but more interestingly, powerful spirits that possessed people, granting untold power yet sending them into a rampage. She discusses some instances of her journey, to become a Medical Ninja that was capable and could be relied on, not one chasing glory or anything of the like. How she hoped to ensure that the world does not become ruled by the will to dominate...to ensure that the concept of Justice does not become blind, or at least fight against it should it come to that.
  31.
  32. She finally gets to the purpose of why she sought out something like this, it wasn't just to inform them of Human affairs, but to start a Summoning Contract. If such a creature wanted, they could easily shrug off the offer, perhaps even put her down for making the offer merely due to world affairs that had little to do with it.
  33.
  34. Or, perhaps, the Miko could offer it something that it would accept, be it merely the blood used to summon, a donation of her refined chakra or healing abilities, or any other trick she had up her sleeve. If it could be appealed to, and the contract created, she would have something, no, someone to rely on when she knows nothing else to fall back on.
  35.
  36. Her promise would be to never use it unless she had to. It violated all sense of trust, it was for the maidens own good to rely on what she had.
