Alternate Form: As an action, a tanuki can take on the form of any small or medium humanoid, as well as any tiny to huge object, keeping its own statistics. It can also transform into any creature of CR 1/4 or lower, taking on the creature's statistics except for mental ability scores.

Leaf Illusion: Tanukis can cast Creation at-will, using a leaf instead of the usual material component. When the object is used or the duration expires, it reverts into a leaf.

Revealing Tail: Because a Tanuki retains its tail while transforming, it has disadvantage on Charisma (Deception) checks to disguising with its alternate form feature.
