The beach is his go-to spot to take a stroll and find new items to add to his hoard. His collection is ever growing, existing of pieces of glass, pinecones and seashells. [/i][/size]

[size=3][color=#7995C1][font=Century Gothic] His beauty can sometimes raise a little too much attention to him. He has had his fair share of women, and he has fathered many hatchlings. After his childhood days, Granolia taught him the ways of love. Maren followed soon after, and a rivalry arose between Maren and Nymphis. This contest caused Vidre to leave the clan, but not before spending the night with Hana. In his new clan, he met Walkyre and he fell for her instantly She didn’t return his feelings, and so he left.

While searching for a new clan, he met Niwi. Although he disliked the cold from the Southern Icefield, he decided to join his clan. He found love again in Savir and settled down with her. He found true happiness, but it wasn’t meant to last. Sulmara’s pack attacked the clan, and Savir disappeared. He followed Niwi to the Viridian Labyrinth and the clan grew strong once again. This time, Adalet was Vidre’s new love. But like always, it was short lived. He has now decided to seek new friendships instead of lovers, and he keeps his heart locked away. [/font][/color][/size]

[size=3][color=#7995C1][font=Century Gothic] It had been a long day. Together with Niwi, they had explored a part of the Everbloom Gardens while collecting mushroom and herbs. They hadn’t made any interesting discoveries this time, but Vidre had collected enough mushrooms to last a decade. They had encountered a Fuiran in between a flower patch, and it had bit Vidre in his left front paw. It hurt, but he wouldn’t admit that. He had bandaged it, and they called it a day. When he returned to his layer, he saw someone had been searching through his collection. A few pinecones laid on the ground, and his Icewarden statue – the one he had bought when he still lived in the Southern Icefields – laid in pieces on the ground. He sighed, and he felt sadness take over his body. He knew there was only one think that would help him.

So, here he was again, walking along the beach. The sound of the waves calmed his troubled mind – and right now it also pulled his attention away from his painful paw. His companion – an Umberhorn Qiriq – walked beside him. Stopping, the Spiral took a deep breath and closed his eyes. A soft breeze cooled his skin, and he thanked the Icewarden and Windsinger for the cold wind currents. He felt at peace for the first time that day. When he opened his eyes again, he saw a faint shimmer drifting on the open sea. It was too far away to reach, but still close enough to see.

[i]“Should we wait to see if the current brings it to us?”[/i] He asked his familiar, who had now found a comfortable place on a nearby rock. He looked up and huffed.

[i]“I guess that’s a yes, then.”[/i][/font][/color][/size]

[nextcol] [size=3][color=#7995C1][font=Century Gothic]And so, the waiting game began. The Qiriq had fallen asleep on the rock he had claimed. Vidre walked along the small strip of beach, never straying too far from the spot he first saw the shimmer. He collected some shells to add to his hoard. Every time he looked back at the shimmer, he felt like it hadn’t got any closer. Slowly, his hope faded away. Maybe that shimmer was nothing. Maybe it just was the reflection of the sun on the water or some trash.

Vidre sighed in defeat and decided to leave. He walked over to his familiar to wake him up, but he was gone. Scared, Vidre looked around. He spotted the Qiriq standing in the water, his head bowed down. The Spiral started walking over to him and saw the familiar pull his head back up with something between his teeth. When Vidre came close enough, he saw what it was – a glass bottle. It was covered in barnacles, but the cork was still in place. Was this what he saw, drifting on the ocean?

[i]”Should we open it?”[/i]

The Qiriq jumped excited. Vidre looked at the bottle in his bandaged paw - he could see there was some kind of paper trapped inside the bottle. Maybe it was a new adventure.

[i]"No, lets keep it closed for now. When we are in need of a new adventure, then we open it."[/i]

And so, the pair returned home, with a smile on their faces.[/font][/color][/size]
