- TL;DR: Statics are a group effort. Don’t be the person wasting 7 other peoples’ time.
- Attendance: Statics require consistent attendance for success, especially ours since we run late in the week which limits our ability to get Weekly Reward Unclaimed subs during our raid time. When people are late or unprepared, it impacts the entire group. Please make sure to set alarms appropriately/as needed to be on time.
- * If you are running late (i.e. you have work before raid and got stuck at work late or similar) please let us know as soon as possible, ideally before the start of raid time.
- * For known absences like vacations or scheduled family things, please let the group know no later than Sunday raid time the week before. This includes arriving late or needing to leave early.
- * Emergencies happen and real life comes first. If possible please let us know before raid starts, but if not please let us know that you are ok and when you think you will be back.
- Multiple absences without appropriate communication will result in removal from the group.
- Preparation: We only schedule 6 hours per week for raiding. Please come prepared.
- * Please check the static discord at least once 24 hours before raid and watch or read any relevant guides others may have posted before raid.
- * Bring appropriate food and potions.
- * Know your BIS and what pieces you need from specific fights and use appropriate intermediate gear while we are progging including reasonable melds. Keep your BIS status updated in the static gear sheet.
- * Have a reasonable level of knowledge of your class including openers, rotations (including class or fight specific modifications), and mitigation usage. Make use of The Balance, xivanalysis, and other resources.
- * Do an appropriate level of DPS for your class. At minimum, you should be able to clear the Stone Sea Sky dummy for the fight we are progging without food or potions. Cursed runs happen. There is no specific minimum parse percentage cut off but looking for things to improve in your own performance is healthy.
- Collaboration: We are all working together.
- * Be respectful when giving criticism. Avoid value judgments of the person and try to stick to the facts. If possible, suggest solutions or make the problem a group discussion so we can all help resolve the issue.
- * Be respectful when receiving criticism. Try not to view critique as an attack but as everyone working together to solve something that impacts the whole group.
- * Raiding is supposed to be fun. Getting frustrated happens, but frustration should not be taken out on the rest of the group. Do not yell at other people on voice. If you need 5 minutes to stretch, splash water on your face, get a snack, or just chill out, that is preferable to getting tilted.
