- Alphys had trouble keeping her class under control on the best of days. She was more than happy to have someone else take over for a while. Maybe she would even learn a thing or two.
- The door burst open and slammed against the wall. Officer Undyne stepped inside.
- "Howdy, punks! Are you ready to get educated?"
- She got polite stares and a few nods.
- "That's the spirit!" She swiped the keyboard aside and sat down cross-legged on the desk. "Now, I'm going to teach you about drugs. And why you shouldn't use any. Who can name a drug?" She looked around. "You, with the smug face."
- "Aspirin," said Berdly.
- "Yeah, that's not the kind we're talking about here. Anyone else? Susie? You know about drugs, right?"
- Susie grinned. "I just stick to ham sandwiches."
- Undyne shook her head. "Unbelievable. Buckle up, kids. I'll start with the background material."
- Alphys was struck speechless as Undyne gave a long exposition about all the kinds of drugs she knew. The class was never this attentive when Alphys gave a lesson.
- "...and then there's this pill called, uh, black phlegm. Gives you a hell of a headache."
- She looked at the clock.
- "Oh, shoot, my hour is up. I gotta get back to the station. Just, uh, remember not to do any of those, okay? See you!"
- The class was unusually quiet and thoughtful for the rest of the day.
