  1. AGENTSIX1 ---------------------------------
  2. Issue at had: I get scanned by suspect guard. I come up clean and have been the entire round. Suspect guard leaves the area. I pick up a knife with other prisoners around. Suspect guard comes back with low hp. I yell out COME HERE I HAVE PRESENT FOR YOU! I chase after him. He runs backwards with a shotty. He then kills me the prisoner with out scanning me again. Even though I do not currently have the knife out.
  3.
  4. This is not freekill as the current ruling
  5. How ever if you think about this if I didn't have a knife this would be a obvious freekill.
  6. How can some one having a knife even with out the knowledge of the party doing the killing result in a freekill meaning nothing.
  7. The intent is obviously there to kill some one well knowing they may or may not have a knife.
  8.
  9. DEGREE --------------------------------------
  10. In your example, you (as a prisoner) were scanned by the Warden, came up clean, and you have been clean the entire round without picking up any weapons or guard tools. Later on during the round, you decide to pickup a knife which would make you become a rebel. You yell using your microphone "COME HERE I HAVE PRESENT FOR YOU!" and the guard kills you right on the spot even though you didn't have the knife out and they didn't see you pick it up.
  11.
  12. Whether you had the knife out or not, you still had it on you. Same goes for any other weapon and/or guard tool. Just because you didn't have it equipped doesn't mean you didn't have position of it at the time. You're still a rebel. Just because the guard didn't see you pick it up doesn't mean you never had possession of it as they killed you or does it disregard the fact that you picked it up.
  13.
  14. On the other hand, if the guard killed the prisoner and it turns out they never had a knife or any other auto-rebel item, then that would be freekill since you never did anything to become a rebel.
  15.
  16. AGENTSIX1 -------------------------------
  17. I already knew this. By this logic I can mass freekill people and get away with it. We have discussed this before. This logic makes little to no sense.
  18.
  19. Not every rule-break can be caught unfortunately - I never said they could....
  20.
  21. You asked me not to complicate things. If you think about it. What you are saying is complicated as fuck. Lets simplify things
  22.
  23. Rebels are defined as;
  24. a. Disobeying the guards or losing one of the Warden's games. (See designated shooter rule)
  25. b. Having a weapon or a guard tool.
  26. c. Delaying a guard's or warden's orders or otherwise purposely taking longer than necessary to complete them.
  27. d. Going in the armory, vents, windows, guard towers (and their ladders/stairs) or secret passages/areas.
  28. e. Cheating during a last request. Defined as;
  29. f. Using the disguise or speed buff.
  30. g. Excepted: If attacking the prisoner is part of the warden's game (lowest hp left, sharks and minnows, etc.)
  31. h. The console and button use logs may not be used to determine if someone is a rebel.
  32. i. Attacking or killing a guard he is not LRing against or playing a warden's game against.
  33.
  34. What do all of these have in common.
  35.
  36. You have to see the action inorder to kill for it. You also always intend to kill the person for this action.
  37.
  38. Can you honestly tell me this guy who killed me saw me pick up a knife saw me with the knife. I am going to say no to that. He never saw me with the knife or pick it up.
  39. So how can he honestly intend to kill me for having a knife if he has never seen me with a knife...
  40.
  41. So the question comes down to why did he kill me. He killed me because he found me a possible threat. How ever that sir is against the rules. No where in the rules does it say kill the prisoners because he is a possible threat. Ok ok maybe it says kill me because I COULD have a knife. No where in the rules does it say kill the prisoner if you think he has a knife. What does it say. b. Having a weapon or a guard tool. At the time of him attacking me to kill me he had not known I had a weapon so where does the reason lie for him to kill me. In my eyes NONE. Now lets look at the bold header to that rule
  42.
  43. Guards may only attack a prisoner they are last requesting against, a prisoner that has lost or completed his last request or rebels
  44.
  45. Now tell me this how can he attack me if he doesn't know I have a weapon... What gives him the right to do this. Nothing in my eyes. So he has no reason to attack me because he has no proof I have any thing to prove I am a rebel. So the minute he starts attacking me he breaks this rule. Once he kills me this could not be freekill. But can I still slay him for breaking rule 24? See tell why this doesn't make sense. In order to kill me he had to break 1 rule. This rule use to imply you are freekilling this user.
  46.
  47. NIGHTSKY --------------------------------------
  48. So, if you're on the case of the report Dirty Dan made on you, yeah he could have been banned for that. (You can be banned on intention) You can call it freekill if you'd like, it really does not matter what you call it, the ban is going to be the same. The ban reason may not exactly read: "Player intended to freekill", but in general that's what will happen.
  49.
  50. In other words, you're not wrong or crazy to believe that the idea of a guard getting away with freekill/mass freekill just because he/she/they had knives is allowed. We won't condone that, you should not have to condone that.
  51.
  52. AGENTSIX1 ----------------
  53. Are you saying we agree?
  54.
  55. NIGHTSKY -----------------------
  56.
  57. In agreement!
