  2. A fantasy world made up of several continents of varied nationalities and traditions that will still feel comfortable and familiar to the average player.

  5. Continent made up of three significant powers

  7. -Lordhelm

  11. -Used to be part of Lordhelm, broke apart after a rebellion 400 years ago
  12. -Oligarchy, ruled by the 47 Lords who meet to vote on national matters
  13. -Has a common currency but bartering is allowed
  14. -Allows sovereignity to land owned by non-humans
  15. -Port city of Portdecomt is the richest, in Duchy Framrose, ruled by Duchess Framrose.
  16. -Origin of the Abyss, a water-filled crater where vile creatures spawn from regularly. Regulated by the Abyssal Gazers, a brotherhood of warriors whose duty is to slay the creatures from the Abyss.
  17. -National spirit of positivity and advancement, though somewhat flighty and don't think in the long term
  18. -Many small religions with local gods- one of the reasons for the rebellion and split from Lordhelm was a rejection of their monotheistic religion. Many gods and spirits are of fey origin, and have physical manifestations.
  19. -Races naturally present: Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Humans, Half-Elves, Half-Orcs, Boar-Men(NPC)
  20. -Migrant races: Humans, Dragonborn(rare, from Longrad), Tieflings(rare, migrated from Tor-Magron), Gnomes(rare, often live near/with Halflings, migrated from Vallhachen), Orcs(NPC, uncommon, migrated from Tor-Magron)
  21. -military might mostly comes from Lord knights and conscripts, better at self-defense than offensive maneuvers, commonly hires mercenary bands and armies

  25. -Monarchy, ruled by King Rikard Lordhelm III
  26. -Does not recognize non-humans as lords, delegates their lands to human lords
  27. -Capital city of King's Hill
  28. -National spirit of strong pride and importance of negotiation, though headstrong, strict on immigration and highly wary of non-humans
  29. -National religion worships a single goddess, called Queen Emagra. When a king ascends to the throne, she is considered the king's spiritual wife, while his queen is his worldly wife. Queen Emagra's image is manipulated and depicted for every aspect of life for prayer and devotion.
  30. -Races naturally present: Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Humans, Half-Elves, Centaurs(NPC)
  31. -Migrant Races: Humans, Dragonborn(rare, from Longrad), Tieflings(rare) Orcs(NPC, uncommon, migrated from Tor-Magron)

  36. -No central government, composed of tribes ruled by chiefs
  37. -Barterers
  38. -Commmonly fishermen, some farmers, some raiders
  39. -Mostly untamed lands
  40. -Some dragons, source of Dragonborn in the north
  41. -reports of ancient ruins from an unknown civilization
  42. -no real national spirit, on account of not being a nation, but generally the tribes keep to themselves. Natives often exude an aura of knowing more than they let on.
  43. -no real military, villagers and tribals are all trained in combat and are able to defend their lands. Raiders are more aggressive and attack ships travelling in the sea between Longrad and Lordhelm, tempting invasion from Lordhelm.
  44. -Races naturally present: Humans, Dragonborn
  45. -Migrant Races: Very little, to the point that it is not worth taking note of, usualy explorers or adventurers.

  48. Continent of two central powers
  49. -Devolken
  50. -Krom-Hellen
  51. And many small warring clans that hold land and are vying for control.

  53. Devolken
  54. -Made up of 14 states, ruled by descendents of King Forstagg
  55. -Has a neutral central state as a seat of government
  56. -Common currency
  57. -Proud individual states that respect others for their common ancestry
  58. -Used to be a monarchy ruled by King Forstagg who took many wives and children all over the land- after his death, there was a large civil war for the kingship that ended with the current arrangement
  59. -Lots of small towns and farmlands on central grasslands
  60. -Large walls on the borders with the warring states
  61. -Border-states are very militarized, central and coastal states are relatively peaceful
  62. -Home of the War Striders, mercenaries famous for their brightly colored clothes under half-plate, fabulous facial hair, and wielding greatswords.
  63. -Races naturally present: Dwarves(rare), Elves(rare), Halflings(rare), Humans, Gnomes(rare)
  64. -Migrant races: None of significance
