[20:00]	<[huh]Alessa>	Haaa, this place feels a lot different from Ferrugo...
[20:05]	<[GM]Mary>	You enter Krana. Though it's not far from Ferrugo, it feels very different, mainly the architecture. The ceilings are lower than what you're used to, and the floor seems to slope and turn at odd angles - it's like you're in a long, warped spoon. The effect may be a little more disorienting if it wasn't for the mass throngs of people. Though Krana isn't really much bigger than Ferrugo, it certainly has a larger community.
[20:10]	<[GM]Mary>	Momo immediately begins following the tracks and encourages the others to look around while she takes care of business.
[20:11]	* [huh]Alessa	is simply fascinated by practically everything in the town.
[20:11]	* [Dune]Sarian	shares Alessa's awe, her tail waving idly back and forth as she looks around.
[20:16]	<[GM]Mary>	Although you can't really see too far because of the crowds and slight leftwardly bend, you still get a clear view of shop and town signs, which line both sides of the deep alley you're in. It seems the town follows a slight ring, like it's following the edge of an egg.
[20:24]	<[GM]Mary>	Furthermore, there's several plants left out by stores and businesses, many of which are much larger, healthier, and exotic than what you've seen before. Most plants don't grow well in Ferrugo and other places, simply because the artificial lighting isn't good enough to maintain their growth. Speaking of which, the lighting is usual here; it's quite bright, and gives off a strange, unplacable hue. It seems kind of blue, but... Maybe it's just the wall?
[20:25]	<[huh]Alessa>	Ahh, plants~ I've hardly ever seen any before~
[20:26]	* [Dune]Sarian	nods excitedly, and runs up to one so she can get a closer look.
[20:26]	<[Dune]Sarian>	Me neither, i've never seen any this big!
[20:28]	* [Dune]Sarian	walks up to the potted tree, lightly stroking the bark as though it would wither under her touch.
[20:29]	* [huh]Alessa	feels the leaves.
[20:29]	* [Dune]Sarian	leans in slightly for an even closer look, her tail now swinging far behind her.
[20:30]	<[Dune]Sarian>	wow, what is this, i wonder...?
[20:31]	<[huh]Alessa>	What is what?
[20:31]	* [huh]Alessa	leans in closer as well, looking where Sarin is.
[20:33]	* [Dune]Sarian	blushes slightly but just laughs, using her tail to point to the tree.
[20:33]	<[Dune]Sarian>	i was just wondering what kind of plant this is, really.
[20:33]	<[Dune]Sarian>	i think it's called a...tree?
[20:33]	<[huh]Alessa>	Really?
[20:33]	<[huh]Alessa>	There's different kinds?
[20:34]	* [Dune]Sarian	ceases leaning forward to stand normally, and faces Alessa.
[20:34]	<[Dune]Sarian>	yeah, there are lots of different kinds.

[20:36]	* [Gtz]Person	sneaks up on you and chimes in:
[20:36]	<[Gtz]Person>	Why, yes there is! That's a Dickson Tree Fern! Isn't all of it's little leaves nice?

[20:37]	* [Dune]Sarian	's tail stiffens for a moment in surprise, but she mostly retains her composure.
[20:37]	<[Dune]Sarian>	ah yes, and the bark, too.
[20:37]	<[huh]Alessa>	I just wanna hug it~
[20:39]	* [Dune]Sarian	smiles at the pure comment.
[20:39]	<[GM]Mary>	A strange dark-skinned girl wearing a worn-out sun hat appears from behind you. She seems just as interested in the plant as you are, but... wouldn't she be a native?
[20:40]	<[huh]Alessa>	Oh, is this plant yours?
[20:40]	* [huh]Alessa	turns to see the girl.
[20:40]	* [Dune]Sarian	turns to look at the girl as well, curious about the new arrival.
[20:41]	<[Gtz]Person>	Yes! I mean, uh... Well, not really. All the plants belong to Mister Webber. I take good care of them, though!
[20:42]	* [Dune]Sarian	's voice takes on a lighthearted tone.
[20:42]	<[Dune]Sarian>	So you're a botanist? You must know a lot about plants, then!
[20:43]	<[huh]Alessa>	Botanist?
[20:43]	* [Dune]Sarian	addresses Alessa in the same happy tone.
[20:44]	<[Dune]Sarian>	A botanist is a plant specialist, basically.
[20:44]	<[Gtz]Person>	Well, I'm not really a botanist... I'm more like a gardener. But I'm surprised that you know these things! I mean, you're not from Krana, are you?
[20:44]	<[huh]Alessa>	No, but she's really smart with these kind of things.
[20:45]	* [Dune]Sarian	scratches her head behind her ear, laughing slightly in embarrassment.
[20:45]	* [Gtz]Person	seems to take interest in your uniforms, tugging at Sarian's tie-thing-whatever
[20:45]	<[Dune]Sarian>	hehehe, i don't know all that much.
[20:46]	<[Gtz]Person>	Oh, I know! You're Mister Webber's servants, right?
[20:47]	* [Dune]Sarian	turns around to face the Person, stating factually:

[20:48]	* [Gtz]Person	's hand immediately withdraws from Sarian's clothes, and looks... wow, she looks like she's ready to cry. Apologetic, to say the least.
[20:49]	<[Gtz]Person>	I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do anything, I'm just, well...
[20:49]	* [Dune]Sarian	's face takes on utter shock.
[20:49]	<[huh]Alessa>	Sarian, don't be mean to the poor girl!
[20:49]	* [huh]Alessa	looks disapproving.
[20:49]	<[Dune]Sarian>	oh no, i'm sorry!
[20:50]	* [Dune]Sarian	clutches her left arm to her chest.
[20:50]	<[Dune]Sarian>	really, i am, i thought you were someone else for a moment...

[20:50]	<[huh]Alessa>	There, she apologized, see? No need to worry.
[20:50]	* [Dune]Sarian	looks more than a little down, at having accidentally caused this new person in front of her such distress.
[20:51]	* [Gtz]Person	stirs, tipping the brim of her sun hat to conceal her face slightly
[20:52]	<[Gtz]Person>	Um... maybe I should get going. Sorry if I inconvenienced you, I'll be on my way...

[20:54]	* [Gtz]Person	takes her hat off, and twists it in her hands. Her hair is long and dark, tied into a neat ponytail in the back.

[20:55]	<[Gtz]Person>	W-well, I shouldn't be touching other people's things like that... I can see how it could be rude...

[21:24]	* [Gtz]Merry	spins around with her arms out-streched on that last bit

[21:29]	* [Dune]Sarian	notices her own hunger, and gives a nod of assent.

[21:30]	<[Gtz]Merry>	Oh, so you're hungry? I know a great place! It's full of Krana's specialty!
[21:31]	* [Gtz]Merry	begins to lead, though a bit too quickly, and soon disappears in the crowd
[21:31]	<[huh]Alessa>	Ah, wait... up...
[21:33]	* [Dune]Sarian	tries chasing after Merry, happily shouting:
[21:33]	<[Dune]Sarian>	Waiit up-nya~!
[21:35]	* [Gtz]Merry	soon returns to view, her hat once again withdrawn. She's searching about meticulously like the first mate in a crow's nest. As soon as she sees Sarian, an exclamation mark flashes above her head and she rushes to meet her.
[21:38]	* [Gtz]Merry	skids to a stop before her, her sandals making a dramatic rubber-burning screech
[21:38]	<[huh]Alessa>	Ah, Merry, you're too fast for us...
[21:38]	<[Gtz]Merry>	Come on, you guys! it's this way!
[21:39]	* [Dune]Sarian	just nods energetically.
[21:39]	<[Dune]Sarian>	alright!
[21:39]	<[Dune]Sarian>	but please slow down at least a little,nya~.

[21:41]	* [Gtz]Merry	grabs Alessa's hand and soon connects her other to Sarian, and speeds off once again with both of them in tow. She easily avoids the perils of going fifteen miles an hour in what's basically a long, crowded mall court, however the maids do not enjoy such liquid instincts. A few people holler at you for running into them.
[21:42]	* [Gtz]Merry	speaks way too quickly:
[21:42]	<[Gtz]Merry>	It's great! It's the tallest playce in the twon! It's up on a terreace, and you can see teh farm and Krana from up there!
[21:43]	* [Dune]Sarian	somehow happily responds while still running.
[21:43]	<[Dune]Sarian>	ah wow, that's great-nya!
[21:43]	<[huh]Alessa>	Waah~
[21:45]	* [Gtz]Merry	runs through an alley on Krana's innerside, and just before she drives you into a wall, she makes a ninety-degree turn and takes you straight up a flight of stone stairs. It appears some of Krana does have an additional level to it.
[21:53]	* [Gtz]Merry	takes you into a restaurant whose sign reads: "Nom's Plum Cabin" Though it's not much like a cabin at all, and you don't recognize anything that resembles a plum, even if you knew what one is.
[21:54]	<[huh]Alessa>	Ah, it looks like a nice place~
[21:56]	* [Dune]Sarian	speaks in a partially out-of-breath, and a partially awed tone.
[21:56]	<[Dune]Sarian>	it does~...
[21:58]	<[GM]Mary>	It does look quite nice, the ceilings are high enough to have their own lanterns hang down without hitting you in the head. But something's different... There's light coming from the windows, kind of like you were "outside".
[21:59]	<[Gtz]Merry>	Isn't it?! Come on, get something and we'll go sit out on the terrace!
[22:00]	* [Gtz]Merry	stops for a moment, looking thoughtful.
[22:00]	* [Dune]Sarian	nods, her excitement and energy seemingly unending.

[22:03]	* [Dune]Sarian	snaps out of it, returning to her happy and energetic demeanor. Her tail's enthusiasm highlights this.

[22:05]	<[GM]Mary>	Blah blah blah, they find a waiter and find a table, menus, napkins, fancy sauce bottles and all.
[22:07]	<[GM]Mary>	MENU: A bunch of stuff you've never heard of.
[22:14]	* [Dune]Sarian	looks quizically over the menu, seeking something that will especially catch her eye.
[22:15]	<[huh]Alessa>	I'll have this.
[22:15]	* [huh]Alessa	points at random at the menu. Her eyes are closed.
[22:16]	* [Dune]Sarian	smiles and laughs a little at Alessa.
[22:16]	<[Dune]Sarian>	nyahaha~, i can't choose.
[22:22]	<[Dune]Sarian>	hm~, i need to decide...
[22:22]	* [Dune]Sarian	begins studying her menu with playful intensity.
[22:25]	* [Dune]Sarian	suddenly jolts upright, her ears perking up and nearly slamming her knees into the table.
[22:25]	<[Dune]Sarian>	ooh, flaming cheese~!

[22:27]	* [Dune]Sarian	turns her menu to Alessa, excitedly pointing at the Flaming Cheese entry.
[22:27]	<[huh]Alessa>	Woow, they really have everything here~
[22:27]	<[Dune]Sarian>	see? it's cheese, and it's on fire~nya!
[22:27]	<[Dune]Sarian>	i bet it's delicious~...
[22:27]	* [Dune]Sarian	's mouth waters a little, as she pulls the menu back to herself for close inspection.
[22:27]	* [Gtz]Merry	is meticulously searching for the cheapest item on the menu. The lowest it goes is two venia... that's half her weekly wage. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any money, so she folds the menu down on the table and happily proclaims:
[22:28]	<[Gtz]Merry>	I'm not hungry. I'll just have a glass of water.
[22:29]	<[huh]Alessa>	You sure? I'm treating you, don't be shy~
[22:33]	* [Dune]Sarian	nods, though she's still intent on her own menu.

[22:34]	* [Dune]Sarian	notices Merry's shyness, and puts down her menu to look at her directly.
[22:35]	<[Gtz]Merry>	No, that's okay! I can eat fresh vegetables every day because of my job. Besides, I shouldn't be mooching off of people I just met... Mom might get mad at me for that.

[22:36]	<[Dune]Sarian>	you're not mooching off of us, and you showed us this place!

[22:38]	* [Gtz]Merry	is silent for a while, looking down on her closed menu. Then she says...
[22:39]	<[Gtz]Merry>	...You people are really nice. I kind of wish you didn't have to go back to your own town, but I'm kind of happy about it, too. I mean, I'm sure there's a lot of people who feel the same as I do about you. They're pretty lucky.
[22:40]	* [Dune]Sarian	blushes a little, and slightly averts her head.

[22:41]	* [huh]Alessa	reaches across the table to ruffle Merry's hair.
[22:41]	<[huh]Alessa>	We're the lucky ones, to have found such a good person to show us around~

[22:43]	* [Gtz]Merry	doesn't resist the ruffle, even unties her hair and shakes it loose afterwards. She still looks sheepish, but she's grinning, at least.
[22:44]	<[Gtz]Merry>	You're almost too nice... But there's no way I could leave Krana anytime soon. I have to keep working to help make ends meet.
