Tale of Monty's militia

In the torments of a Sol at war,
Attacked right down to its flesh,
A soldier offers his blood for the freedom of his land;
Trapped, refusing defeat, he escapes towards reconquest.

Left to fight on Gaia,
His ardor makes the independent Marines tremble,
When his men bow under fire, Monty revives them by the example;
Lake Cabot's feat ignites them beyond blood and tears.

In New-Venice, Monty's boys are broken,
Yet they flee, to fight another day, on the countryside,
Gaia welcomes the liberation troops, in the guerrillas under the bombs;
Monty's militia is pushing the ennemies back through New-Venice.

"Never surrender", such was his law,
During five years of combat,
he shaped his destiny by his will and his faith;
Watered by grape-shot, he was dubbed lord of battles!

A great name echoes in the din of fighting
The name of a soldier who ennobles our history
May our action forever follow the footsteps
Of the Monty's brave militia.
