  1. Makoto then enters the Ganma World, announcing himself to be the new ruler of the world. Unfortunately, the Sage points out that the Ganma World will be no more. That’s when Makoto points out that he’ll just make a new one. One where everyone can go to so that no one can truly die. This will be how he’ll save Kanon, by pulling her out of the afterlife and into his world.
  2.
  3. The Sage is outraged by this and tells Takeru. Takeru is dismayed by this since up to this point, Makoto had been his brother figure. The Sage then brings up why he made the Ganma World in the first place: as a means to connect with the afterlife and bring back his mother. It failed somewhat and they were only able to bring back a childish version of her: Yurusen.
  4.
  5. When Takeru realizes that Makoto will destroy the afterlife that he put the Ganma in, he moves in to stop Makoto. The two have a confrontation. Takeru brings up his regret in not stopping Makoto earlier before the Specter Eyecon took over him. Makoto then brings up how he had mastered Specter AND Deep Specter and now they answer to HIM instead of the other way around.
  6.
  7. Takeru says how what he’s about to do will disrupt the very fabric of nature and that all things MUST die. Makoto then brings up how their meddling ended up messing nature anyways and how people who were meant to die naturally were instead killed. What he’s doing is a service to the dead.
  8.
  9. Alain then comes in. At this point, the whole grandmother plot came and gone, so now he’s upset about her death. Makoto and Takeru both ask Alain to pick a side and after much duress, Alain tells Makoto off by saying how Fumi died peacefully and how ripping the afterlife open would actually be a disservice to her.
  10.
  11. The three have a climactic battle, with Makoto assuming a monster form based off Deep Specter and a Ganmaizer, and Alain uses his suicide powers to weaken Makoto enough for Takeru to land the final blow. However, Takeru lands a nonlethal blow. Alain dies knowing this and he curses Takeru for allowing Makoto to live even with what he is planning.
  12.
  13. Takeru, however, has other plans, and crushes the Eyecon containing the Specter and Deep Specter ghosts, as well as the Ganmaizer essence Eyecon. Makoto cries bitch tears and begs Takeru to kill him so that he may be reunited with Kanon, but Takeru insists that Makoto instead lives for her sake and helps him up.
  14.
  15. The two exit the Ganma World in time as it collapses. The Sage acknowledges that the Ganma World was a failure, but Takeru insists that it needed a more human touch and offers to be the new lord of the Ganma World. Touched by this, The Sage agrees and allows him to become basically the grim reaper for new heroes. Which then ties into that scene in Kamen Rider Drive where he saves Shinnosuke.
  16.
  17. So then we have an epilogue. Onari retires and leaves the temple behind as a monument to the Tenkuuji clan. Akari forms a new Ghost Busters team, but this time with the intent that Sage had and enlists them as guardians for when disasters come about. Alia, the sole survivor of the company, becomes Makoto’s shrink and vows to start from zero, with hints that she’s pregnant with Takeru’s baby.
  18.
  19. However, the story isn’t quite over. After the credits, there’s a stinger where a man in a white suit picks up notes from the ruins of the company building and smirks, commenting on how Adonis’ collapse would not be in vain.
