- The silky stalactites laden across the cavernous ceiling rained an inconsistent patter of fluids for the earthen ground. Visibility was rendered nigh impermissible-- Leaving torchlight to be the primary means of enabling perception through the perilous depths of the Trystle Caverns. The travelers knew the danger well, with exception of a small few midst the traveling party. It was an expedition amongst non-magi through the caves, to deliver trade to a minature village few miles out from Alteros.
- A small trading party, harbor a handful of knights in the grouping of hardly over one dozen travelers; An exodus pass through, merchants at their core aside from a child still developing his magical capability: Hector, whom participated in the journey for potential medical practice, though, he hadn't fluent comprehension of what he agreed to when he ventured through the deeper, non-patrolled depths of the grotto.
- A count of the cluster was no more than sixteen, consisting of eight warrior-type entities, albeit, far from military grade.
- "Okay, eyes peeled. This shortcut won't take long, but we have to stay together and move fast. Last thing we want to draw in, is attention." The group leader warned--
- Hector stayed close to the center of the group, his traveling companion at his side, holding his hand for comfort.
- "Hector."She moaned, "This is a bad idea, the Trystle caves are dangerous." she warned, "Can we turn back now, and just get the money for a boat for these guys?" she asked, replied to, not by Hector himself, but the agitated group leader.
- "We don't have time!" He argued, "This is the fastest way to the village, and we're on a -strict- time limit." He stabbed his index finger into the opposing hands open palm, as though to exact his point with the closing words. The group was en-route once more, and Hector answered her in a hushed tone.
- "Don't worry, everything will be alright. These guys just want an aquamancer with them to hydrate their men, and heal up sores along the way." He smiled, "They have the danger aspect covered." He was never further from the truth-- Even now, he failed to realize that Yokai were much more than an intimidating fable to tell children; Being one whom had never laid his eyes on one before, he couldn't realize the danger.

- A malevolent creature was lurking on a miniature roof in the Trystle Caves. It seemed to be a Yokai that transformed in to its second state. Shi'ka know how less of a hunchback, letting it be more straight. More spikes transfixed his skin, and he seemed much more vile.
- Finally, the being entered the arts of occulistim. A springing wave of occultisim energy bursting through its soul. It was completely corrupted. It had a diabolic scheme. It had slightly more of an IQ, and was able to communicate with its kin now. Despicable.
- A reguritaing wave of corrupted energy began to engufle the red being's body. The form of the aura was impressive. Swaying back and forth, like it was a toy. The tips of it showed most fearsomeness. What Shi'ka was about to do, is catastrophic.
- A small group of around seven people were walking by. Five of them seeming to be average soldiers, and two of them seeming to be specialists in the medical arts.
- Paranormal activity was happening at the moment. One of the soldiers began to enter the skies. His long-sword dropped, and connected with the sand terrain that rested underneath the others. A round shape of dark effevesence surrounded the opposing soldier. It began to bind the mana the being possesed. Completely crushing its life-force. After a set amount of time, the soldier's insides bursted out. His internal organs just dangling off of his body, and stuck on a pointed stone. Blood gushing out of his system. As the soldier fell, the others began to be curious.
- That soldier was literally drowning in its own blood. Phenomenal. . .
- (Shi'ka)
- The grotesque sight churned the hearts of those within the core of the group, leaving those such as Hector and his traveling companion paralyzed in fear. The group leader's eyes widened, leaving one's perception to scour the ceiling franitically for a source. Gasps from merchantry, frightened from the demise of a soldier left the group to huddle closer to one another.
- The soldiers themselves failed to part away from the group, taking up new formation to prevent further casaulties via the same matter. Non-combatants surrounded Hector, and Lexus herself huddled close to the young child.
- He ordered, forcing the Exodus into an all-out frenzied sprint for the exit further north. Their numbers began to grow distant from one another-- All, but Hector and Lexus, still holding hands even now, eyes veered for the light in the coming horizon--
- "Quick, into the light!" He spoke unto Lexus, practically forgetting about the others that ran alongside them. Nor he, or those whom surrounded him were conscious of location such inhabitants that stalked them as prey.

- The demonic creature opon the roof of the Trystle Cave's Walls. It was signaling towards Lesser Yokai to hoard behind their next pathway wall, so they could get attacked. A vast amount of pressure was sent towards the female, that was with Hector.
- A disastrous shake was sent towards all of the soldiers, letting them tumble towards the ground. This was the power of occulitism. A catastrophic amount of ebillence erupted from the demonic creature yet again. A contempitible force struck the female that was holding on to Hector. Oh yes. His beloved.
- The cataclysmic competence was beginning to obliterate the woman's insides. Her eyes were beginning to evaporate.
- CRUSH. Her arm was completely destroyed. Fragments of it falling towards Hector. Her blood spilling all over the place. Her internal organs bursted out of her body, and fell everywhere. A gory death for a virture person.
- The girl's hair was falling down with her. Her chest bursted out wide open, with nothing but the ribcage left. The heart was annihilated in the process. Her body fell, and slipped through a spiked stone. More blood splattered all over the place. Blood fell from her eyes, but that was the moment it evaporated. The man, would probably know it was occulitism.
- A odious ball of calmitation was formed within both palms. It was launched forward. It elongated itself, transforming its form in to a beam. Four of the common soldiers were obliterated in to oblivion. Not even a fragment of them left behind. Not a memory, or a piece of armor.
- A few Lesser Yokai sneaked up on approximately five soldiers. One of them turned around and swung their long sword in its head, crushing it. Another Lesser Yokai appeared behind it and began to rip apart his insides. First the mineral renknown as iron was torn apart, then the insides. One of the Knights were murdered by their spine being ripped out. The spine was connected to the head, and it looked completely disgusting.
- Loads of blood. A bloodbath. They were walking in blood, drowning in blood living in blood. A few of the lesser licked up said blood. Two arms appeared from the shadows. It impaled through iron like ease, and annihilated two of the guards. This one was different. A contemptible competence engufled its body, giving it an extraordinary power boost. The Lesser Yokai attacked one more common soldier. He was ripped apart. Only his head lieing on the terrain underneath. The other lesser yokai were overpowered by the remaning soldiers. They were sliced in half. Two soldiers, and the leader. Plus that anonymous medic behind them. . .
- (Shi'ka)
- A bloodbath is all that played out, unleashing a plot of consternation amongst the withering masses. It was unlikely that any grace would be unveiled to those victimized by the aggression portrayed by Yokai kindred. Screams from men and women alike possessed the cavernous setting;
- The cocophony of their conjoined cries, torn to shreds at the notion of one rendered unknown, Hector rushed to the best of his ability, tugging at Lexus' hand along the way. Albeit, no matter his haste, the inevitable was only to be realized as a harsh reality-- She was right, they shouldn't have come to the Trystle caverns, not without a magi with them.
- Despite the strength of their hold, the body would fall limp, stressed from the malignant forces of life-siphoning occultism. No longer was the lively girl he spent his life with to date, in hand, as her strong person, but a mere cavader, skimming across the hard stone floor.
- A paved path of sanguine glimmered in the wake of torchlight behind her, tubings of her entrails entangling at her legs and feet backwards. He was stuck, paralyzed, intoxicated by the imagery. The sounds of the fearful and dying, were crippled into ambience-- Omitted from the prime of his focus. This was life changing, dropping the importance of all else.
- He knew fair and well, that his meager aquamancy was insufficient to repair of extreme wounds. "L-....Le-...." The name couldn't manage to slip past his quivering lips with ease any longer.
- "Lexus?" He shrunk into a whimper, dropping to his knees--
- The impact of such, seemed to boom to his own sense; His life came crashing down, finally realizing death for the second time. This time, not to an foe, but a friend.
- Trembling seabound pupils reflected Lexus' corpse with a glassy facade, voice breaking apart and shuddering as he continued onward.
- "N- No.." His shaking arms rose, siphoning humidity from the atmosphere, becoming inept to the situation at-hand, outright losing all concept of the reality warped with danger at every corner.
- Beads of water budded at his fingers, reaching for her the mass of ruptured innards, a hallowed core that once proved to be her ribcage, deprived of its former organs. "No. No-no-no-no-NO!" He incremented his mumble into a shout, pouring what essence he could muster to heal her, albeit useless. He wanted to restore her, revive her, necromance her fallen physique back to its former stature, but the powers of his magus capability were far too insignificant...
- No matter what he tried, nor how much strife he had, he simply couldn't bring those he loved most, back from the dead.
- Streaks of tears rolled down his face as he came to such knowledge, shoulders bouncing in reverence to his cry.
- The water grew estranged from his affinity, tainted with Lexus' blood, and thus, manipulation of the element began to die, with the remainder of her lifeforce the slipped away. A single tear in an eye, but the face of one whom had truly witnessed terror.
- A gasp at the sight consumed him, but proved mere prelude to an explosion from within. Emotions running wild, the Yokai managed to awaken what once was concealed within the boy for so long. As maws parted to shout for the ceiling, denying the situation once more, ears from all around could turn to one's position, frightening even the group leader.
- Though, even as beads of water encompassed his flesh, melding a gelatinous form about his form, the blood of his beloved seemed to bend at one's volition, considering hieghtened willpower and potence.
- A crimson aura of Lexus' remains enveloped an angry Hector, bloodshot eyes relinquished tears that flown akin to bubbles within the aura, crawling up to join the essence, further diluting the blood he clutched under his control.
- Eyes scoured over to lay their sight upon a lesser Yokai-- Though, such was not the perpetrator, he assumed it close enough! An extended arm, spawned a thin lining of the crimson substance, swiping across in relation to his swatting arm, imitating a blade's edge in its wake. The result? A cleaved lesser Yokai, once under command of the commanding entity beyond the blanket of ambiguous darkness, in two.
- The fury was proven within his movements, eyes ignoring the expeditioners that furthered their trek for the northern exit. It mattered not to him for their well-being at the moment, but vengence for Lexus' life.
- (Hector Veris)
- The Yokai was in a vigor shape. It merely glared at the opposing human. A smirk struck its face after the death of his loved one. The nefarious aura gaining more catastrophic power. Shi'ka relinquished its massive amount of competence. The occulitisim aura went twice its original size. Its maximum potential unleashed. As that one lesser yokai fell down, the Mega Yokai rushed towards the others and murdered them. Even if they were its allies.
- Shi'ka stared towards the brave human. An overwhelming sense of agony appeared for his ally. Maybe the creature underestimated the human. Its claws unsheathed, and it beared its teeth.
- A malevolent mana erupted from the palm of its hand. It was black in the middle, outlined with a vile purple. It engufled both of its claws. The mana was manipulated to be able to enfused with its claws. Two large spear-like figures appeared at the claws. With multiple thorns ripping through it. It was preparing to fight the man. Maybe to the death, maybe not. . .
- (Shi'ka)
- The being was engaging combat. With its claws being overwhelmed by the immense amount of mana it beared, it was ready. The Yokai took a few steps further in the terrain that was underneath. It was awakening its secondary form's true power. The Lesser Yokai horns were still there. They bent backwards looking more minotaur like. This showed that he was in his second state. For real. Not an illusion.
- Shi'ka awaited for the human to attack. From far range, it would use the attack that murdered his beloved. The Yokai might even conjured up a wave of execrable competence, from the terrain. It would unleash a fire-like substance that can obliterate most stone. Melee damage would also be dealt towards the opposing human.
- At first the two rushed towards each-other or something of the sort. The battle went on from there.
- (Shi'ka)
- A magus' head shifted further left from the victimized Yokai, catching glimpse of movement from an alien entity: Shi'ka. A glare from his person easily proved that he wished for nothing but reparation for the crime commited against him and Lexus. Now, deprived of his childhood friend, he could only find himself drowning in despair... Anger; It was but a mere stepping stone for what was to follow.
- He stepped forth, but rather than the hardened earth, a layer of his own waters bent to cushion movement against the ground-- Even hastening it. The waters grew more ravenous, shifting from his person to his sprinting legs, allowing him to surf upon against the earth utilizing a conjured wave of the aquamantic element, all-the-while, tainted by Lexus' diluted blood as a weapon.
- "This..." He started, the sound of the fluid washing against his kicking shoes capturing the ambience, "Is.." Hector whipped his right arm back into a tightened fist, summoning forth a spiralling stream of blood to his fist. The roaring waters intensified their torrent around his bracing arm, reared up for impact-- Essentially, replicating the appearance of a drill, adopting water saw properties.
- "For LEXUS!" He exclaimed, propelling a flesh shredding fist for a mark upon the Yokai's physique, albeit likely incapable to par with what he lacked concieveable knowledge of...
- Regardless, the battle would commence...
- (Hector Veris)
- The creature never understood the language reknown as english. But he did comprehend the aggravation that the humanoid was going through. It was merely a joke towards him. A playful smirk struck the Yokai's face.
- It seemed the opposing Water Magi, was using a various amount of spells. A barrage of bubble bullets unleashed towwards the Yokai's direction. They were reflected like mere pebbles. The walls commenced to obliterate, from the immense power of the bubbles. Even if they were mere bubbles they were quite
- catastrophic.
- The atmosphere changed around them. It seemed more enraged then calm. The hasted switch of attitude was quite hysterical towards Shi'ka. The Mega Yokai dashed towards the human with its corrupted mana in hand. A barrage of despicable slashes relinquished from the Yokai. It cut the Human's chest, leaving a large cut on it.
- There was going to be a parting gift given towards the humanoid. Shi'ka dashed farther away from the being, and binded its body. It was beginning to squish it a bit. With complete joy in doing so, the Yokai crushed the human's arm letting bits of blood gust around in the winds of Trystle Cave. The malevolent mana elongated its form and contacted with the crushed arm. It literally brought it up, and slammed it down cutting the shoulder blade beyond of the human. A small orb of spiritual energy was formed.
- It was launched forward and contacted with the human. It began to absorb some of the life-force from him. The orb transported instaneously behind the Yokai. The orb connected with its body. Shi'ka commenced to rejuvanate a tremendous amount of mana. The Yokai dashed in front of Hector, and impaled his internal with a powerful strike. A small amount of blood gushed from that area.
- The human fell towards the floor, 'winded'. Losing his breath. . .
- The Yokai snickered towards the fallen being and walked away from the situation. It was tedious and annoying to fight such an inferior being. Shi'ka thought it was more fun.
- (Shi'ka)
- Attempting to pursue the carriage was one seeking out the nearest village for medical aid-- Clothing was soaked in blood, entrails of a cavader, remaining organs hanging by their threads clung tightly to his apparel. Intestines twined about his neck, and right stub, still bleeding profusely. Once pale skin was painted with one's fluids, sanguine and stained...
- With the bleeding corpse of his once childish beloved, tucked under his remained arm, Hector set himself out for Alteros. Miles, and miles of distance was something he couldn't hope to take up alone--
- Every step be took, shoes oozing into the swamped grasslands, burping a vile gaseous odor; The mere whiff of such abnormalities brought him to a state of further disorientation, vision commencing a process of doubling. He was captured into a hazy stature, pried down by gravity's unrelenting embrace-- Such shown in his trembling form.
- Half-lidded eyes struggled to find the horizon, finding perception growing bleak. It was ultimately weakness that would be his undoing, failing to realize his magus power, when it mattered most. For such incompetence, he lost a part of himself, and even his closest friend... Now, all he could hope for, is to live through the day.
- Darkness was creeping in closer, and his chest seared with a spiking pain, oozing blood past his ebony shirt, browning the surface. Alas, gravity prevailed, and unconscious rolled in to introduce an intimacy with the soil-- Albeit, he refused to surrender his lifeforce to these wounds, clutching his teeth in hopes that those he escaped the Trystle caverns with would've managed to discover him sooner than later... Under the assumption that others did not provide first-aid.
