Covet: Eli was sitting on the couch going over everything they had together so far for the carnival coming up this week. He was double checking vendors and spaces making sure that everything was in order to run smoothly during that week, while humming the spider man theme song to himself, because that's what he has playing in his head while idle.
Tsaaq: Bliss went over a few things on the cashier computer after ringing up some customers. She looked over to Eli a couple of times before stepping away from the register. She went over to the couch and leaned over as she looked down at him. "You looked so focused." She said with a raise of her eyebrow.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam carried a couple of boxes of new merchandise through the store to the back stock room, nudging the door open with his hip and slipping inside to drop the boxes down with a deep exhale. Brushing his hands off on the backs of his pants, he turned and walked out of the back, seeing Bliss and Eli huddled on the couch. "Everything okay?"-
Covet: "Yes and Yes, he said to both Bliss and Adam as they checked in on him, "I was just making sure everything for the carnival is set so it should be a breezy easy week. I think we have all our vendors in place, I'm waiting to hear back on one or two more places, but so far looks like a packed and exciting event." He said with a smile looking at them both.
Tsaaq: "I got some security for the carnival as well. I'm not sure if I remembered telling you or not." She declared. She went to sit down beside him and crossed her legs, pulling down her skirt a little. "Their price is reasonable. If anybody becomes unruly it should be nipped in the bud."
Alexithymiaa: "And I talked to all the groups and sports teams about having booths or events and everyone that wants to, is locked in." He nodded, moving to take a seat down on the couch. "And the dunk tank is revolving."-
Covet: "Perfect, having security in place makes me feel a lot better. And with Adam's update... I think everything is covered." Eli smiled and set his tablet on the table, leaning back against the chair cushions. "The rest of this semester should be a cake walk."
Tsaaq: She nodded her head and smiled. "Great great. So everything is in order." She said. She grinned at Eli and patted his knee. "I couldn't agree more." Bliss said. "And I like to think it was successful. Mostly."
Alexithymiaa: "I think we have to wait to call it successful once it's actually over. But so far so good, right?" He asked with a smile, running his hand over the back of his head. "We still have to get through our finals."-
Covet: "That's also true. I'm not too concerned about finals. Most of my classes just seem like a review of our midterms." Eli said with a laugh, then looked at Adam and Bliss, "What about you both?"
Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "My sentiments as well." She said, pointing to Eli. "But of course. We do have to get through them so I suppose Adam is correct." She sighed. "I'm more than confident though." She smirked. "I'm sure we'll all be fine."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm pretty confident too. Im just trying not to be overconfident and forgo the necessary amount of studying and end up damning myself with them, I guess." He gave an easy shrug, tipping his head to one side.-
Covet: "Yeah. It's suck to feel like you nailed one then turned out you missed the mark entirely." Eli said with a laugh, then glanced at Adam, "I don't want to sound rude or anything, but how have you and Hayley been doing?"
Tsaaq: She pouted her lips a moment. "Oh no. I've never ever had that thought. Well... not lately." She murmured softly. She grinned again, looking to Adam. "Oh yes, I would like to hear how that is too. She seems less withdrawn..."
Alexithymiaa: -He looked between the two of them, the heat creeping up the back of his neck as he felt he was on the spot. "Oh... uh... good... I guess. Yeah." He nodded his head uncomfortably, shifting in his seat. "Good."-
Covet: "She does, Sorry to just spotlight you like that, I was just wanting to check in with you on all that." Eli said trying to make it seem casual picking up on his awkwardness.
Tsaaq: Bliss' eyes widened a little as she darted them. She rested her hands in her lap and forced a smile. "Oh, well..." She paused. "That's great." She said before clearing her throat.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah... well...." He paused, trying to find his words. "Everythings good." He flashed them both an uneasy smile before pushing up from the couch, starting to walk toward the counter and glancing back at the two of them. "Do ya'll need anything extra done tonight?"-
Covet: "Good..." Eli said trailing off, figuring out this was a horrible time to bring that all up for him. "Not that I can think of. Of course if you're feeling froggy by all means I'm sure there's something around here that could be done." He said glancing around the shop.
Tsaaq: "Umm..." Bliss whispered, attempting to think of something. "Yeah I can't really think of anything at the moment either. But of course go ahead and do what needs to be done." She let out a nervous chuckle.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay I'll just... uhh..." His gaze swept the shop, seeing everything mostly neat and tidy before dropping his hands to his sides. "I don't know."-
Covet: "Wow, are we really that dead tonight?" Eli said looking around, " I guess.. if we've got nothing else to do... we could call it an early night?" He suggested the idea sounding almost foriegn to him.
Tsaaq: She grit her teeth then turned to Eli before shrugging. "I suppose that isn't a bad idea. It's not like we have a lot of traffic right now." Bliss stood to her feet.
Alexithymiaa: "Well...." His eyes swept the shop again, moving back behind the counter. "I guess it's better than sitting around and doing nothing since we have everything done." He stopped behind the computer, beginning to batch out their credit cards for the evening.-
Covet: "I don't mind when we're slow like this. It honestly ends up saving us in the long run." Eli said explaining as he got up and started working on the closing stuffs, like shutting down the game systems and all that.
Tsaaq: "Well, alright then." Bliss nodded her head and proceeded to tidy up the selling floor. "Let's get closed up then." She shrugged.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam printed out the thing and got everything together, putting the money in the pouch thing and sliding it across the counter for Eli to take. Moving over into the corner, he grabbed the broom, beginning to sweep the floor.-
Covet: Eli wiped down the surfaces and made sure everything was turned off and set up for the night. When he was done he went to the door to hit the light and check the door, then looked at Adam, "Well I will see you tomorrow, Man. Thanks for coming in tonight."
Tsaaq: She went to wave at Adam. "Yeah great job. As always." She called out before running to the back to grab her things.
Alexithymiaa: "Ya'll have a good night." He called out to them as he swept the dirt into the garbage with the broom things and replaced his things back into the storage closet. Grabbing his coat, he slipped it on and made his way through the shop to the front door, waving to them as he stepped out to head to his truck.-
Covet: Eli made his way into the back with Bliss once Adam was out the door and the security system was set. Intending to be all sweet and boyfriendy to her once he was upstairs.
