- Kerd vs Coco
- R1
- Kerd
- Hank vs Six
- * Hank's strength/durability > Six's strength/durability
- * Six is slow
- * Hank is fast
- * Hank clearly wins due to having a clear speed/strength advantage which is both relevant in melees or shootouts.
- Sasuke vs. Aoshi
- * Sasuke is fast
- * Sasuke is strong
- * Sasuke leverages above two to beat Aoshi
- Alfa vs. Obould
- * Alfa fast, Obolud slow
- * Obould has no piercing resistance
- * Alfa slashes and wins.
- Judge's Notes: Solid by Kerd. Establishes stats and argues how they translate to victory.
- Coco
- Hank vs Six
- * Six fast
- * Six skilled
- * Hank squishy
- * Hank fights like a jabroni
- * Hank is objectively slow
- * Hank's weapons lack feats
- * Hank's physical stats are bad
- Aoshi vs Sasuke
- * Aoshi fast
- * Aoshi skilled
- * Aoshi strong
- * Aoshi wins due to the above stats being greater than his opponent.
- Obould vs Alfa
- * Obould stronk
- * Obould fast
- * Obould durable
- Judge's Notes: Good job on the flow chart by the way. I think Coco has certainly improved a great deal in how he argues and he certainly pulls a lead. He makes a good argument for Hank being genuinely slow, he makes a good case for how Sasuke is actively slow.
- R2
- Kerd
- Hank vs Six
- * Six is also squishy
- * Hank's sword cuts through metal that is thicc
- * Hank being slow isn't true, he only is fast when needed.
- * Six is slow
- Sasuke vs. Aoshi
- * Aoshi slow
- * Aoshi weak
- * Aoshi's skill does not help him against a physical discrepancy
- * Fireballs kill his opponent
- Alfa vs. Obould:
- * Drizzt scaling bad
- * Alfa fast
- * Alfa's offense > his opponent's durability
- Judge's Notes: A few things I don't agree upon. First, I don't think the screenshot depicting Tricky's mask being thick really does so. It doesn't look that way for sure. Second, he doesn't really counter the anti-feat of Hank being slow against Jesus pulling the gun on him. And lastly, I think the scaling is fine as is. I don't really quite connect how Coco's assumption of a wererat being human-speed is wrong in any capacity.
- Coco
- Hank vs Six
- * Six's bullet timing feat is as presented
- * Hank was aim-blocking, not actually bullet timing
- * Hank has basically zero agency while Six always abuses his speed
- * Hank's sword sucks
- Sasuke vs. Aoshi
- * Sasuke is just slow in general
- * Sasuke is weak overall
- Obould vs. Alfa
- * The scaling is solid
- * Obould has great piercing durability
- * Obould has great offense.
- Judge's Notes: I think Coco does well to defend the fact that the wererat scaling is fair and valid. He does a few other things right imo which is to point out Sasuke's lack of reaction speeds, the fact that Six's bullet timing feat is as presented, and that Hank isn't as fast as Kerd is depicting nor does he actually seem to actively abuse his speed that much.
- R3
- Kerd
- Hank vs Six
- * Hank cannot be ganked
- * Hank would use his weapons efficiently
- * Hank is fast in combat. Six has speed anti-feats too.
- * Fuck your flowchart coco
- Sasuke vs Aoshi
- * Sasuke fast
- * Sasuke beats Aoshi physically
- * Sasuke has many win cons
- Alfa vs. Obould
- * Wererat doesn't have that reactions
- * Alfa hits hard
- Judge's Notes: Eh. I am not really convinced on that being an instance of super senses. Hank for instance could have heard the man coming. I also think that the lack of solid reaction feats being given to Sasuke is a hurting point for Kerd as well. Lastly, I don't think fast = strong. This is not a consistent thing portrayed in fiction, and had Kerd been able to portray this coorelation, I think that would have made his case far stronger.
- Coco
- Hank vs Six
- * Hank's senses aren't good
- * Hank's melee sucks
- * Six's bullet timing is ironclad
- * Hank's reaction sucks.
- Aoshi vs Sasuke
- * Sasuke is slow
- * Sasuke has a reach disadvantage
- * **My opponent clearly knows this, because after being called out, he still refuses to give an actual number for Sasuke or Naruto’s reactions. They’re clearly slow as balls and unquantified precognition does literally zero to prevent this.**
- * Sasuke has no skill.
- Alfa vs. Obould
- * Obould fast
- * Obould tough
- * Obould does a lot of damage.
- Judge's Notes: I think the best thing coco does is him calling out Kerd's unwillingness to provide a solid number for his reaction times. This solidly swings the match into his favor imo. Other than that, this is criticism for both contestants, but it felt like R3 really just had a lot of repeated points where people simply talked past each other.
- Results: Coco wins all 3. I think he successfully dismantled Sasuke as a viable character fire and foremost. The second match which I think he wins absolutely is Hank whom he manages to tear apart as being a character without much good speed to him (arguably to the point of being actively slow). Lastly, while I think Coco never successfully argues Alfa to be actively bad as a character, I give the edge to him just marginally.
- Coco wins 3-0.
