Mei is a very closed off person . She is shy and awkward but she's someone who tends to observe a person first and be cautious of them before (basically) deciding whether or not someone is worth her time. Although she is kind , she isn't one to really sugar coat things. Has the longest patience and tolerance , but once that's over it ain't gonna be a pretty sight , you'd be questioning whether or not it's the same person. She really isn't one to really give a shit about things (other than her grades) , a really laid back person once you get to know her. What's can be seen of shady about her,  is the fact that she can easily earn someone's trust. How she does it is honestly beyond herself, although it can be useful for her (she doesn't use it against them...sometimes). You'd probably see her rbf and emotionless reactions to things very often.   But the more closer you are to her the more you'll hear her crack jokes and laugh around you (she'll be a heck lot protective too)

⋆ Background:
Mei was born in to a five membered household.  Her family is causal in wealth , not over the max rich but enough to support all of them. She had parents  which did what one would view as tiger parenting. Which came to play on how she's cautious of people and also the reason why she tends to have a rbf.  Mei also in during this time managed to be able to really patient , with her anger bubbling up even less. Growing up she managed to earn the "skill" of sneaking so she could go out and relax at the park with lying too she managed to get past the radar of her parents. Not the most girlish either , she enjoyed rough housing with her older brothers when their parents were out hence why her vocabulary was very advanced as a little kid. With her younger brother her tolerance levels are really low meaning she snaps a lot at him causing him to fear her. Which in return got her into a lot of trouble by her parents , which went into a really ugly turn.
