  1. <MrCleaver>: It is nearing the end of lunch period at the Belringur Academy, as MrCleaver begins to get his class ready for the bell to ring. The students are all eating in the cafeterium, to their heart's content
  2. Dibbles is scarfing down a lunch, an extra plate on the table for his otter who is behaving similarly.
  3. Wrong_Way is looking at his sandwich. He's not sure if he wants to finish it.
  4. Solo is eating a fishburger.
  5. Solo is wondering how they ground up the fish to make the burger....
  6. <MrCleaver>: any freeforming ya wanna do, now is best time]
  7. Wrong_Way decides to get from his table and go sit by Donnie to get an definite answer
  8. Wrong_Way finds room by Donnie and turns to him "Hey Donnie, I got a quick question for you."
  9. Dibbles looks up from his lunch, bits of food on his face even above his eyebrows
  10. <Dibbles>: "Yeash, Mrfk?"
  11. Solo continues to eat his fishburger
  12. Dibbles his his face wiped off with a napkin, courtesy of the otter
  13. <Wrong_Way>: "I don't know if I should finish this sandwich or not."
  14. Wrong_Way gestures to the standard cafeteria sandwich in his one hand
  15. Dibbles contemplates the sandwich.
  16. Solo is alone
  17. <Dibbles>: "Is it good?"
  18. Solo will probably be a villain
  19. <Wrong_Way>: "Not really, it's only got peanut butter in it."
  20. <Wrong_Way>: "But the thing is, I always end up getting sandwiches with only ketchup in them in this cafeteria..."
  21. <Wrong_Way>: "...so I'm kind of worried" he says, all hush hush.
  22. Dibbles looks at the sandwich with a more serious expression
  23. <Dibbles>: "Uh... you can have some of my chips if you want."
  24. <Wrong_Way>: "But what do I do about the sandwich?"
  25.
  26. <Dibbles>: "Just throw it away, eating a sandwich with just peanut butter sounds gross."
  27. <Wrong_Way>: "...You don't understand this situation."
  28. Solo has finished his sandwich
  29. Wrong_Way gets up from the table.
  30. <MrCleaver>: The bell rings
  31. Wrong_Way looks at the sandwich in his hand and sighs
  32.
  33. Solo starts to head torwards class
  34. Dibbles takes a few more bites and throws his plates away.
  35. Wrong_Way sees Sol leaving and hurries after him, sandwich in hand
  36.
  37. Dibbles follows after wrong_way
  38. MrCleaver is sorting his papers, waiting at his desk
  39.
  40. Wrong_Way looks at the sandwich in his hand and ultimately finishes it outside of the classroom
  41. Wrong_Way enters the classroom
  42. Donnie follows after
  43. Wrong_Way looks to Donnie behind him
  44. <Wrong_Way>: "Any idea which class is this?"
  45. <Donnie>: "...Cooking?"
  46. <Wrong_Way>: "...You sure?"
  47. Donnie shrugs
  48. <Donnie>: "Not really."
  49. MrCleaver is scribbling on some papers, as the class begins to file in. He is a thin man, with white hair, and a bald spot. He wears a dress shirt, and a tie with the imagery of blood trickling down on it. As he sees Donnie and Wrong_Way, he clears his throat
  50. <MrCleaver>: Heeeeeeeeello
  51. MrCleaver says, in a low, raspy voice
  52. <Wrong_Way>: "H-hello."
  53. Wrong_Way is worried about that tie.
  54. <MrCleaver>: Are you here for my class?
  55. Donnie and Bumbles share concerned looks upon noticing the tie
  56. <Donnie>: "...Yes?"
  57. <MrCleaver>: Well then, have a seat, and we can begin
  58. Wrong_Way just nods, hoping to find a seat far in the classroom
  59. Donnie nudges Wrong_way to find a seat as he does so himself
  60.
  61. Wrong_Way finds a seat close to Donnie
  62. Solo finds a seat in the room
  63.
  64. <MrCleaver>: The room is laid out like
  65.
  66. http://aasid.parsons.edu/decorationascomposition/sites/default/files/high%20school.jpg
  67.
  68. , but seems to be much more dimmer, and the decorations, much less....cheerful. Posters of Poe, Lovecraft, and Barker line the room, and a bust of a strange, unseetling human-like skull sits on his table
  69. <MrCleaver>: So....
  70. <MrCleaver>: My name....is Mister Cleaver
  71. <MrCleaver>: And I am your Creative Writing Teacher
  72. Wrong_Way writes down in his notes to remember the teacher and this class
  73. <MrCleaver>: Here, we will learn to expand our most vital organ....the mind
  74. <Donnie>: I like writing!
  75. <MrCleaver>: It is a gateway, into another realm, full of unmentionable horrors, and twisted delights. Allowing the floodgates of creative to barge onto y-
  76. Solo writes down in his notes to remember the teacher and this class
  77. MrCleaver looks at Donnie
  78. <Donnie>: Are comic books considered creative writing?
  79. <MrCleaver>: Please do not interrupt me, Child
  80. <Donnie>: Oh, right. Sorry!
  81. <MrCleaver>: As I was saying
  82. <MrCleaver>: The floodgates of your soul, flowing onto paper, is one of the greatest gifts man can create.
  83. <MrCleaver>: So, shall we start with a simple practice?
  84. Wrong_Way is afraid to talk in fear of getting on MrCleaver's bad side
  85. MrCleaver awaits for a response
  86. Donnie looks around, not catching the cue to talk.
  87.
  88. <Solo>: "What?"
  89. <Solo>: "What is going on?"
  90. <MrCleaver>: Ah, yes
  91. MrCleaver points to Solo
  92. <MrCleaver>: There is my volunteer
  93. <Solo>: "...volunteer for what?"
  94. MrCleaver motions for Solo to come to the front, as he holds a sack, shaking it in his hand
  95. Wrong_Way hits himself on the head for not realizing he was asking for volunteers
  96. Solo walks to the front
  97. <MrCleaver>: There are 35 numbers in here. Pick one, and only one. Understood?
  98. <Solo>: Yes sir, mr cleaver sir"
  99. Solo takes a single number out
  100. <MrCleaver>: And what is your number?
  101. <Solo>: "42"
  102.
  103. <Donnie>: [haw]
  104.
  105. <MrCleaver>: Hrm
  106. <MrCleaver>: It seems we have a comedian in our midst
  107. <MrCleaver>: I do not enjoy comedians
  108. <MrCleaver>: I do know a joke though
  109. <MrCleaver>: Do you wish to hear it?
  110. <Solo>: "Does it have a pun in it?"
  111.
  112. <MrCleaver>: Knock Knock
  113. Wrong_Way wonders if Solo just really wants to get into a fight
  114. <Solo>: "I dont like knock knocks, sir."
  115. <MrCleaver>: Too bad. Answer the door
  116. <MrCleaver>: Knock...knock
  117. MrCleaver raps at his desk, knocking on the wood
  118. Donnie has already started daydreaming, vacantly looking at a random piece of decoration
  119. <Solo>: Whos there?
  120. <MrCleaver>: De Tents, Son
  121. <Solo>: "I dont speak french, sir"
  122. Wrong_Way tries to figure out what the joke at the end will be
  123. <MrCleaver>: I would expect the comedian to know how a joke works. Surely you know what comes after you find out who is there
  124. <Solo>: *sigh*
  125. <Solo>: "De Tents, son who?"
  126. <MrCleaver>: I will see you after school for detention. now sit back down.
  127. MrCleaver points at Donnie
  128. <MrCleaver>: You. Come forth
  129. <Wrong_Way>: "Oh..."
  130. Wrong_Way writes down that joke for later
  131. Solo takes a seat
  132. Solo grumbles
  133. Donnie ducks under his desk, appearing next to MrCleaver
  134. <Donnie>: Okay!
  135. Solo is visibly startled by the dissapearing ten year old
  136. Donnie looks at him with a cheery, innocent smile as he does this
  137. Wrong_Way thinks Donnie's teleporting is cool.
  138. Donnie teleports as second nature most of the time
  139. Solo is not used to powered kids...
  140. <MrCleaver>: He shakes the bag, and holds it for Donnie
  141. Donnie puts his arm as deep as he can into the bag and grabs
  142. <MrCleaver>: Read the number for the class
  143. Donnie looks nervously over at Solo as he begins to read
  144. <Donnie>: "Uh... fifteen?"
  145. Solo gives him a dead stare back
  146. MrCleaver opens a drawer, and pulls out a large, old book. He drops it down, a loud bang filling the room, as dust is shot everywhere. He licks his bony fingers, and opens it, flipping the pages with a loud thwich every turn
  147. Wrong_Way looks for any title on the book's spine.
  148. <MrCleaver>: It is blank, except for a snake receding down the spine
  149. <MrCleaver>: Let's see.....
  150. <MrCleaver>: Alright
  151. <MrCleaver>: Everyone, List 20 things you are afraid of.
  152. <MrCleaver>: Begin
  153. <Wrong_Way>: "...What?"
  154. MrCleaver flips over a hourglass, as the sand begins to trinkle down
  155. Wrong_Way raises his hand
  156. <MrCleaver>: Yes?
  157. <Wrong_Way>: "Outloud or on paper?"
  158. Donnie puts his paper back and manually walks back to his desk
  159. Solo pulls out a paper
  160. <MrCleaver>: On paper...
  161. <Wrong_Way>: "Thanks."
  162. Wrong_Way manages to write down at least 10, but can't think of any others.
  163. <MrCleaver>: and I am actually gonna ask you guys to write this down. Pastebin it]
  164. Solo just writes down "Cockroaches, dogs and otters"
  165. Donnie ducks under his desk again, after about 10 seconds he returns with some paper and pencils
  166. <MrCleaver>: Once you complete your list, lower your head on your desk
  167. Donnie sighs as he rights his list, looking around the room and doodling on his paper
  168. Solo lowers head on desk
  169. Wrong_Way looks at his 16 and is content. He lowers his head onto his desk.
  170. Donnie looks at the other two students who've lowered their heads nervously and begins writing faster in a bit of a panic
  171. Donnie lowers his head
  172. <MrCleaver>: Alright then...
  173. <MrCleaver>: Now
  174. <MrCleaver>: You will pick one of those fears, and write me half of a page talking about it
  175. <MrCleaver>: Once completed, lower your head
  176. <MrCleaver>: and I do mean actually write it[
  177. Solo writes a 7 page essay on why otters a shit.
  178. Donnie puts his head down
  179. Wrong_Way puts his head down
  180. <MrCleaver>: Excellent. Now...bring your papers to the front, and put them on my desk
  181. <Donnie>: The half page or the list too?
  182. <MrCleaver>: Both
  183. <Donnie>: Uh, okay...
  184. Wrong_Way looks at his paper again and goes up to put it on MrCleaver's desk
  185. Donnie walks over and places both papers into the desk with a notable lack of enthusiasm
  186. Wrong_Way sits back down, hoping that's all they're gonna have to do today.
  187. MrCleaver reviews the papers, hmming and hawing
  188. Donnie goes back and hunches over his desk, murmuring back and forth with his otter with a worried expression
  189. <MrCleaver>: Yes...yes
  190. MrCleaver hands back the papers, with markings on them
  191. <MrCleaver>: Donnie: C
  192. <MrCleaver>: Mark: B-
  193. Wrong_Way does a small fist pump "Yessss"
  194. Donnie doesn't really react
  195. <MrCleaver>: Now then, how did you like to explore the dark recesses of your mind, and staring into the worst fears your mind has to offer?
  196. Wrong_Way shrigs
  197. <Wrong_Way>: "It was okay..."
  198. Donnie remains quiet
  199. <MrCleaver>: Alright, well, that seems enough for class today. I now assign to you your class assignment. Before every class, you will hand in a journal, about anything. Understood.
  200. <MrCleaver>: This will be done once a week, and will be handed in on time
  201. Wrong_Way writes this down to remind himself
  202. Donnie 's otter writes it down because this kid would never remember otherwise
  203. <MrCleaver>: Now, go forth. the day is young, and ripe for the picking
  204. MrCleaver reclines in his chair, and does the Mr Burn's finger thingy I cant remember right now
  205. Donnie crumples his papers up and throws them away on the way out
  206. Wrong_Way gets up and puts the paper in his pocket
  207. <Wrong_Way>: "Man, a B-!"
  208. Wrong_Way follows after Donnie
  209. <Donnie>: "I got a C."
  210. <Wrong_Way>: "Oh..."
  211. <Wrong_Way>: "Well, that guy is pretty creepy."
  212. <Donnie>: "It doesn't really matter, since I have some weird grade thing because I'm so young."
  213. <Wrong_Way>: "I guess so. What did you write about?"
  214. <Donnie>: "I, ugh. It was stupid, I don't wanna talk about it. I should have just listed a bunch of normal kid fears instead of what I did."
  215. <Wrong_Way>: "I'm sure yours was fine, man."
  216. <Donnie>: "I just hate writing personal stuff like that. I don't wanna think about those things."
  217. <Wrong_Way>: "I don't mind too much, but I see what you mean."
  218. <Donnie>: "Yeah. What'd you write about?"
  219. <Wrong_Way>: "I wrote about Theo Junior. He likes to eat anything he finds on the floor, so I worry that he'll find some plastic on the floor and eat it."
  220. Wrong_Way seems to have thought about this a lot.
  221. <Donnie>: "Don't you keep him in an aquarium most of the time?"
  222. <Wrong_Way>: "I do...but I'm still worried."
  223. <Donnie>: "Yeah, it's hard not to worry about people you care about."
  224. <MrCleaver>: He keeps getting at Mark's Polly Pockets]
  225. <Wrong_Way>: [what if he chokes on Polly's shoe one day?
  226. <Wrong_Way>: [abloobloobloo]
  227. <MrCleaver>: Why do you have polly pockets in the first place?]
  228. <Wrong_Way>: [they're turtle sized people]
  229. <Wrong_Way>: [easier to have adventures with Theo junior than with a really tall barbie]
  230. <Wrong_Way>: [gosh]
  231. <Donnie>: "I think I'm gonnaa.. go to my next class now."
  232. <Wrong_Way>: "Alright then. I'll see you."
  233. <Donnie>: "Seeya, Mark."
  234. <Wrong_Way>: "You too Donnie."
